5. All pilgrims going on hajj or umrah must get the required shots and show proof of vaccination to the authorities.
6. Female pilgrims can't travel alone to perform Hajj. Instead, they must be accompanied by a male Mahram and show proof of kinship with the Mahram when they apply for a visa.
7. Visas for Hajj and Umrah that are given out by the Saudi government will still be free. Still, you may have to pay for the services (like paperwork, travel, lodging, etc.) that your travel agents set up for you.
8. Muslims from other countries who have a name that isn't Muslim must also bring a "Shahadah Certificate" from their local mosque or Islamic centre. This proves that the pilgrim is a Muslim by faith.
