Despite the fact Michael Jordan graces the front cover, NBA 2K23 couldn't be less wrong about how impressive the present Chicago Bulls are.2K has four current Bulls players ranked among the best 100 players in the league NBA 2K23 MT. DeRozan and LaVine occupy positions in the 19th and the 23rd spots respectively, while Nikola Vucevic is ranked No. 59 and Lonzo Ball comes as the No. 73. It's a bit of a surprise that Andre Drummond is rated as the fifth-best player in Chicago and barely makes it to the top five.
The team's ratings as a group are the worst they've ever had. The Bulls backcourt take major hits, as Alex Caruso, Coby White, and Dosunmu have all been sacked one spot when the common sense says they should all be better than next season. Dosunmu's 76-percent overall rating is especially obscene, considering that he just earned All-Rookie honors. Also, all-rookie second Team guard Josh Giddey posted roughly equal numbers as Dosunmu (and was defeated by Ayo in head-to-head matches) as a starting guard, but was awarded a much higher 82 overall score.
The rookie Dalen Terry has been assigned a shocking 71 overall rating, which puts him far below the likes previously mentioned Bulls Matt Thomas, Denzel Valentine, Troy Brown Jr., along with Tomas Satoransky. Three of those players aren't even in an NBA roster while the fourth is a minimum "prove the idea" contract. He'll join the three others in case he doesn't improve in a significant way.
I don't expect Terry to be the first to emerge to ignite things quickly, but putting Dalen in the middle of these players is quite absurd all things considered.As an overall group, 2K has rated the Chicago Bulls in "Tier 2" NBA2king, which means they aren't in the top 10 league teams. It's interesting that the Lakers are one of the 10 teams that are in Tier 1. in spite of the fact that their roster construction has been in the past two years.
