The Future of Mobility: Airless Tires

Airless Tires, also known as non-pneumatic tires, are vehicle tires that are designed without inner tubes and internal pressurized air. Instead, the tire structure contains flexible composite material such as rubber to provide cushioning and support. Airless tires have many advantages over traditional pneumatic tires as they remain rigid at low or zero pressure.
Composition and Design of Airless Tires
Airless Tires have an entirely different design and structure compared to conventional pneumatic tires. They are made of a robust yet flexible composite material such as rubber designed in concentric rings that provide support and cushioning qualities similar to pneumatic tires. The layered composite material comprising of high tensile strength steel cords and rubber enables airless tires to maintain their shape and support without needing internally pressurized air. They also have tread pattern molded on the outer rubber layer to provide traction on various road surfaces.
