Practice makes perfect? I'm not sure. My 8-year old daughter was on the back of a Barbarian and having the best time of her life lol. I believe it is contingent on what perspective you take on the game. If you're always wanting to win, win and win, this might not be the ideal choice the right choice for you, unless you're doing that so, kudos! But generally speaking, I've seen players wearing purple gear ???? going up a couple of steps only to get bodied, losing all their equipment, unless someone grabs it from their team. While they're mad then they simply shrug it off and start playing again.
The game started with nothing. If you spend the time to study the mobs, rooms, and then the mechanics of all the other things, you'll becoming more proficient, which makes you a bit more powerful. When you die, you lose everything but that progress. So every ... you know, the number of dungeons per 5 levels, you become an extra bit stronger thanks to benefits.
