Can I still get direct deposit if my cash app card isn’t activated?
Direct deposit and Cash App Card activation are two separate processes, so it is possible to receive direct deposit into your Cash App account even if your Cash App Card is not activated.
Once you have with your employer or benefits provider, the funds will be deposited into your Cash App account, and you can access the funds through your Cash App balance, regardless of whether or not your Cash App Card is activated.
However, keep in mind that if you do not have your Cash App Card activated, you will not be able to use it to make purchases or withdraw cash at ATMs. You will need to use your Cash App balance or transfer the funds to a linked bank account to access the funds.
