OP is really assuming that is actually PSO2 Meseta the case. It may be that folks in this sub climbed up with WoW rather than PSO2, so a larger group here is more inclined to prefer WoW Classic within the group which are indifferent. I am not saying we are one big monolith of view, it's only that they're probably the majority here. And hey, if you consider it, it is likely why majority of the sub is jaded towards the Modern MMO offerings: they are just so far away in the Vanilla WoW they have come to understand and love.
As someone who is hyped for WoW Classic but not for Phantasy Star Online 2, here are my reasons
WoW isn't the same as it was and with isn't currently available. Thanks to years of Blizzard dumbing down WoW's mechanics and WoW feels like Blizzard are attempting to pander their games towards little children, grannies and idiots, rather than the RPG gamers that made up their core fanbase and market. It's a lot more complicated than that but to put it simply, I am not having fun with modern WoW.
Sega promised to deliver PSO2 out seven decades back. It never made it out of Japan and South-East Asia. The SEA release was far behind on updates, had shoddy translation function courtesy of Playpark and has been. This isn't even the first time that Sega fucked up using buy meseta pso2. Does anyone recall despite providing fans chapters beyond Episode 2 PSO Blue Burst, that not just released using a subscription fee but was also really short lived?
