Shamima Begum’s Journey: From Learning Arabic Letters to Reading the Quran

A New Beginning with Qul Quran Academy
I am Shamima Begum from Canada, and my journey with Qul Quran Academy has been truly life-changing. When I first started learning, I had no prior knowledge of Arabic. I was unsure about how to begin and worried about whether I could ever read the Quran fluently. However, the teachers at Qul Quran Academy guided me from the very basics with patience and dedication.
Building the Foundation: Arabic Alphabet and Tajweed
My learning journey started with the Arabic alphabet. My teacher made sure I understood each letter’s pronunciation, how they connect in words, and the basic rules of Tajweed. The structured lessons helped me gain confidence, and within a short time, I was able to recognize and pronounce letters correctly.
Progressing to Quran Reading
After mastering the alphabet, I moved on to reading simple words and then full verses. My teacher was always encouraging, correcting my mistakes, and ensuring I understood each rule of Quranic recitation. Regular practice and personalized attention made a huge difference. Step by step, I began reading longer Surahs, and now, I am close to completing the entire Quran.
Guidance for Others: How to Start Your Quran Journey
For those who want to learn the Quran but feel hesitant, I want to share a few tips:

A Grateful Heart
Looking back, I am truly grateful for the support and guidance of my teachers at Qul Quran Academy. Their encouragement and expertise have helped me achieve a goal I once thought was impossible. I hope my story inspires others to start their own journey of learning the Quran. If I can do it, so can you
