A version of the Path of Exile has been released: Blight! It adds a new challenge alliance, powerful items, skill gems, a shake-up of POE Currency Path of Exile’s playstyle meta and much, much more.
On the cursed Wurast broken continent, a dangerous fungus named Fusarium wilt has begun to multiply, threatening humans and beasts. With the help of the new NPC Sister Cassia, you are tasked with destroying these growths. Cassia has built a specialised pump for the job, but as her pump siphons the toxic fungal ichors, monsters of all shapes and sizes emerge to defend the Blight. These fiends are particularly hardy. Luckily, Cassia has designed a range of towers to help protect her pump, which you can deploy.
The fast and crazy action of Path of Exile’s combat and the strategy of tower defense game is the most important fusion of Blight. If players want to defeat the blight, they need to make immediate decisions and plan what may happen in the future. Successfully defending Cassia’s pump rewards you with valuable weapons and armour, and special oils which Cassia can use to anoint your rings and amulets with powerful enchantments.
New skills, new items and balance changes are also masterpieces of Blight. The balance of the Necromancer prototype has been improved, items with the theme of creeps have been updated, and a major overhaul of the Necromancer Rising Class has been carried out.
There are five new skill gems in the poison assassin prototype, greatly increasing the player's choice, they can kill the enemy with poison. Similarly, a new set of Mine Skill and Support gems will be used by the Mine Saboteur prototype, and the existing Mine gems will be rebalanced to improve the game's tactical and tactile feel. The vandal advantage has also improved.
For those of POE Orbs you who play Action RPGs for that sweet, sweet loot, we are, of course, adding potent new unique items, divination cards, and, with Cassia’s anointing, an avenue to augment items in powerful new ways (including the ability to add any Passive Skill Tree notable to your amulet!).
Allowing players to play in their own way is one of the core design concepts of the Road of Exile. As a result, the way the main tasks are handled in the Path of Exile’s endgame, the Atlas of Worlds is being changed. Previously, players had to actively perform master tasks, now you will be able to accumulate these tasks over time, and then be able to play these tasks at your own pace and in the final map area you want!
Finally, The Blight League has a new game economy. The new league brings players a new experience. I hope that players will have more happiness in Path of Exile.
