The entire NBA season was suspended until further notice, in a movement that's so unprecedented that NBA 2K MT Coins simply does not understand how to handle it. NBA 2K20 has a characteristic called Start Now in its MyLeague manner, which lets you begin a career based on the current standings and stats from the NBA and take it from there using the actual schedule. Today, though, if you try and start it, NBA 2K20 keeps attempting (and failing) to simulate any consequences then just crashes. On the one hand, that is pretty realistic! On the other, surely the schedule because it existed is still in there, and possibly it's the lack of any outcomes or stats in the previous 24 hours of postponed games because the announcement that's causing it.

I agree, I wasn't expecting that. Been quite a while since I have played a Basketball game but this one free I will have to get back into it. NBA 2K20 is just a giant casino with a great deal of p2w mechanics. Only a warning. It's also buggy. Any issues with single player? I stay away from MP in games. The modes that are offline and I play and I love it. The shooting is somewhat annoying (playing on hall of fame so it might be that) because it feels like you have to get a green discharge with anybody, ignoring their rating, but it is really terrific. I love playing defense. Matchups matter. Strength matters. It is really great if you simply play offline.

Last time I played MyPlayer style (I cant remember which game it was) it was super grindy and pay to win, and I could never update the stats on my dude. Is it? I am not sure anybody plays it. I'm probably enjoy the 1% who plays the My League style. I select a team and perform all 82 and go into the next season lol.

Back in 2k12 I played the crap out of online association with my friends, it was a blast. It was enjoyable to each possess our own teams and draft and play a complete year, with no chance of microtransactions. They kept making it worse and worse and it might not be in NBA 2K20 any more. At least the GM Mode was just a GM simulator. Subs couldn't be made by you you played in that I thought my game was broken. So I switched to My League to know how to buy mt in nba 2k20 and it's a bare bones experience where you don't manage the player's happiness and little things like that. It is what it is I imagine, although I enjoyed that.
