WOW: THE OLD GODS MAY RETURN IN DRAGONFLIGHT PATCH 10.1
The latest Patch 10.1 of WoW Dragonflight has players buzzing using the possible return from the Old Gods.
The last of these was defeated in the Battle for Azeroth. However, evidence regarding their presence has emerged and it is pointing at N'Zoth. He's one of the most powerful and well-known Old Gods who might make a comeback soon.
Players have found the Deepdrifter Megrim in Patch 10.1's PTR.
It's a brand new fish-like creature which has further fueled speculation concerning the Old Gods' potential involvement. With three eyes and menacingly jagged teeth, the intimidating fish reminds a lot of gamers of N'Zoth. After all, he's often related to sea creatures. And maybe you have not yet forgotten the incident when Zin-Azshari was flooded. Back then, he took the type of a fish to approach queen Azshara so that they can sway her into servitude.
While it's well-known the demise of N'zoth does not mean his influence no more lingers over the planet. And this fish might be nothing but a trivial detail. Especially when Blizzard has yet to provide solid confirmation about any role the Old Gods may play in Dragonflight. But is it not strange?
