I am sure, not everyone would quit since some might enjoy buying ranks/levels/etc. Gold farmers such as Vene's would still be RuneScape gold enjoying just because it's far better than their occupations, MTX or not. But there'd still be a huge drop in gamers, especially with how one-sided the recent poll was for the sponsor-mtx which were only purely cosmetic items. Bonds are much worse MTX than makeup and yet most OSRS players haven't quit.
They might try, but most people really wanted bonds. People were buying OSRS gold for actual cash from day 1, so letting them do it through jagex really didn't change anything there, all it did was allow individuals to pay for their membership with ingame gold. This is hilarious, they could barely create content I dont think they are in a position to hold it hostage, all 3 dozen individuals setting up with their shit would probably just proceed.
Sorry, I should have said they wouldn't quit if it was decorative only MTX. Mat K talked about this and it's over 90 percent of players don't want buyable exp (internal evaluations via inviting players over). They'd quit. However, if RS3 wasnt profitable anymore they'd forcefully put MTX onto 07 to create up profits, but makeup only. They also said they'd only agree with decorative only MTX if it was an absolute must for RuneScape to remain alive. 07 is steadily decreasing in gamers, so finally it'll probably get to this point.
Completely false. 7 full years after EoC and OSRS have been released, and cheap OSRS gold most people, including extremely famous EoC pvmers like Evil Lucario, will tell you there's enormous flaws in EoC. The vast majority of RS3 players still use Revolution based on Jagex. Most OSRS has players haven't returned to EoC, many still express a dislike for this.
