Woman charged with harassing Yellowstone's mother at Grizzly

An Illinois woman has been charged with assaulting a wild animal after she was photographed while approaching a grizzly bear in Yellowstone National Park.

The widely shared video shows Samantha Dehring approaching a bear and two cubs to take pictures.

Mrs. Dehring walked out only after Mother Bear ran towards her.SLOTXO

She is now charged with multiple counts, including "violating the closure and restriction of use".

Park visitors are forbidden from approaching bears more than 300 feet.Mrs Dehring was among the tourists who met the female grizzly bear and her cubs.
