Hi everyone,

I’m creating a training guide for new workshop employees and need a complete list of the parts of TIG welding machine. I know about the torch, foot pedal, and shielding gas, but I want to make sure I cover every detail, including cooling systems and regulators.

Also, I’d appreciate any maintenance tips that could extend the lifespan of these parts. If anyone has a diagram or reliable resource that explains each part’s function in detail, please share. Practical advice from experienced welders would be a big help.

Thanks in advance.

The parts of TIG welding machine typically include the torch (with tungsten electrode), power source, shielding gas cylinder, regulator, hoses, foot pedal, and sometimes a water-cooling unit.

The torch delivers the arc, the power source controls amperage, and the foot pedal adjusts heat on the fly. For maintenance, keep all connections clean, replace worn electrodes regularly, and inspect hoses for leaks.

If you have a water-cooled torch, flush the system periodically to prevent blockages. Storing the equipment in a clean, dry place can significantly extend its life.
