Buckle up for another “strange” ride sometime in 2021, except this time around; you will be taken outside your beloved city of Hawkins.

You would have heard much about the “Stranger Things” after that enigmatic trailer earlier this year, but if you haven’t, fear not because operations have returned to proceedings. The entire production team has finally returned to shoot Season 4 after the painful delay caused by the coronavirus.

To increase the hype, some set photos have been revealed on the internet, and by paying slight attention to the photos, we would know that a new character could very well be introduced to us.

The new character will join the likes of “Billy,” “Max,” “Robin,” and “Erica” in the list of newly introduced essential names.

It is imperative to understand that nothing much has been revealed about Season 4, and all the news that you might hear in the coming months might be from an unreliable or a fake source. So, take that with a pinch of salt.

Nevertheless, some believable reports have emerged in the past couple of months, which puts some spotlight on behind-the-scenes work that has been going on for Season 4.

To put everything into perspective, we should do a quick recap of what has been confirmed about Season 4.

In February of this year, fans got a 50-second sneak peek, which confirmed an already known fact that David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper is still alive, and his presumed death at the end of Season 3 was mistaken (keep the door 3 inches open). However, what is interesting is that he has traveled to Russia and might even have traveled back in time (just a theory).

Actor David Harbour had confirmed in one of his interviews that Season 4 would likely be pushed to 2021 because of the unprecedented delays. He also added that the season would focus on Hopper’s backstory, something missing in the preceding three seasons.

In one of the statements, Harbour remarked about some foreshadowing, which has been shown in Season 2, and he says that if the writers don’t stay true to that, then it means they are bad writers. “And Duffer Brothers are very good writers,” he said.

Duffer Brothers kept their silence for a long time, but in May, they had to say something about Season 4 to keep the hype static, and they said that Season 4 would be the scariest of all Season and it will take the viewers “back in the states” where something has resurfaced. That something connects everything, and it has remained hidden for a long time.

“In the meantime, pray for that American.”, they said in a statement seconding already the fact that Jim Hopper is still alive.

In June, the creators also shared a photo of 9 scripts alluding to the fact that Season 4 will most probably feature nine episodes (a count that has significantly come down after Season 1).

Then, earlier this month, the shows’ social media handle confirmed that the production team is back to work after a long delay.

To treat you with an eye feist, “Just Jared” has shared a list of 40 photos from the sets of Season 4, and in one of those photos, we can see Joe Keery’s Steve talking to a young girl with a glisten in his eyes as Robin looks upon. We can all assume that this character had to be the new one that creators are striving to introduce as Steve’s new love interest.

Meanwhile, we can all pray for “that American” at least.

What Does Stephen King Think of Stranger Things? https://alicejohnn.wordpress.com/2020/10/22/what-does-stephen-king-think-of-stranger-things/ We have to agree with Stephen King that the world-famous Netflix show owes a lot to Stephen King’s books. #stephen #king #think #stranger #things

We have to agree with Stephen King that the world-famous Netflix show owes a lot to Stephen King’s books. There are tributes to his novels like Dark Tower, IT, Cujo, Shining, etc., in almost every episode of the Winona Ryder starrer. The creator of the show, commonly known as The Duffer brothers, have also admitted that Stephen King is the sole inspiration behind the creation of Stranger Things and especially the novel IT, which was the muse for the central plot of the series.

But, what does Stephen King think of the series in general?

Matt and Ross Duffer wanted to write the big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s epic 1986 novel “IT,” however, Warner Bros. was not at all interested in their ambition and rejected their offer. This started out as a motivation to write their own versions of “IT,” which finally paved its way to Netflix in 2015.

And you will find a lot of similarities between IT and Stranger Things. Even the gang of Will Buyers has some sources of inspiration in the “Losers Club”- a group of teenagers who are very hopeless in their own lives, but when they come together, they do something heroic. In Stranger Things, we see a similar group led by Fin Wolfhard’s Mike Wheeler and Mille Bobby Brown’s Eleven saving their beloved city of Hawkins from an evil force that is much bigger than themselves whilst struggling with their own lives.

The “Duffer Brothers” have agreed that the novel “IT” left such a cathartic impression on them that it will be difficult for any other story to overshadow it. They clarified in a statement that they didn’t mean to say that other Stephen King’s books weren’t good enough, “they were,” but because they could relate with the protagonists of” IT” in 1986, it became, and it still is their favorite book of all time.

Matt and Ross hailed King as their “god” and said that “Stranger Things” is just a way of “serial communication” with him.

Now coming to the opinion of the master storyteller himself, King has tweeted several times about the series, and in one of the tweets, he admitted that though he likes the Netflix series a lot, Duffer Brothers’ work owes a lot of gratitude to the novel “IT.”

He acknowledged that The Party and the Losers Club have the same theme- a group of misfits saving a city despite their own shortcomings.

In another tweet, he gave an A+ to the series and said that it’s a fun watch, specifically mentioning the name of the star Winona Ryder calling her a “shining” thing on the show. Ryder leads the cast on the show and plays the role of an emotional yet caring mother, Joyce Byers.

The splendid supporting cast includes David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton.

Season 1 focused heavily on the disappearance of Noah Schnapp’s Will Byers and the introduction of “The Upside Down” concept.

“The Upside Down” explored in the series is an alternate universe existing parallel to the one where the characters reside in. The man-eating creatures come from the alternate universe, and though they have not been given any scientific name in the series, Mike Wheeler and his gang call it “The Demogorgon.”

Season 3 of the series ended with the presumed death of David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper; however, he has been shown to be alive in a trailer that came out earlier this year.

And if you have seen the series, you can almost guess that he will be back again in Season 4. Remember that clue in the final scene, “American in prison?”

Scene 4 of the famed Netflix show will probably arrive some time in 2021.
