Teleport Nuke: Big Buffs and Big Damage
The Teleport Nuke build is one of the most fun (and powerful) setups for Sorcerers in Diablo 4. Thanks to recent buffs, the Teleport damage has been increased from 35% to a massive 90%! This means when you teleport into an enemy mob, you’re not just repositioning — you’re also dishing out serious damage. Add to that the fact that Mystical generates 3 Crackling Energy with every teleport, and you’ve got a constant source of power for chaining even more spells.
Another key change is the nerf to Frozen Orb’s chill effect, but don’t worry — this can be offset with Firewall chains, making it less of a drawback and allowing you to keep up the constant damage flow while still controlling enemy movement.
Key Buffs and Gear Focus
For the Sorcerer build, here's what I focus on to make sure the Teleport Nuke & Chain Lightning Storm really packs a punch:
Key Buffs: You’ll want a permanent teleport (making you incredibly mobile), mana scaling to keep your resources flowing, and lots of Crackling Energy to make those Chain Lightning storms even more devastating.
Top Gear: Tal Rasha’s Loop is a must-have for this build. It increases your damage significantly, while the Recharging Aspect lets you use your teleport more often — a game-changer when you’re constantly in and out of the action. Having the Battle Caster's speed mod can also boost your Chain Lightning uptime, so you can chain the damage to multiple enemies in quick succession

Frozen Orb and Chain Lightning Synergy
While Frozen Orb still has a solid 5% chill baseline, the addition of Oculus makes all the difference. This increases mobility and lets you kite enemies with ease while still dishing out damage. If you're running Frozen Orb as part of the build, you’ll also get a huge advantage from the Firewall overlaps, which increase the Chain Lightning's potential by +10% per jump.
It’s all about synergy in this build. You’ll be jumping around the battlefield, using Chain Lightning to hit multiple enemies while keeping them controlled and dealing damage from all sides. Combine that with Oculus to keep your mobility high and Firewall chains to help cover your rear, and you’ve got one of the most potent Sorcerer builds in Diablo 4.
