How do you avoid underpayment penalties with a fluctuating stock price?
Hi everyone,
Last year, my company’s stock price doubled unexpectedly, and I ended up owing a fortune because the standard withholding wasn't enough.
This year, I’m trying to be more proactive by using an rsu tax liability calculator every quarter to see if I need to make estimated payments.
It’s a bit of a headache to keep track of, but I’d rather do the math now than pay a penalty to the IRS later. Has anyone found a user-friendly rsu tax liability calculator?
Thanks in advance.
