Apple is among the pioneers in computing technology. The Cupertino-based tech giant has been consistently developing superior devices that offer the best computing experience. According to the latest reports, the tech company is gearing up to introduce its M2 Pro and M3 chips based on its 3nm process. The new chips will be designed to increase battery life as well as improve performance. GBWhatsapp

Apple’s M3 chip is rumored to have a die size of around 8.5mm squared and will be manufactured on the 7nm process. The company is currently working with TSMC on the development of its 7nm process and it is expected to work together for the development of Apple’s M2 Pro as well. It will be interesting to see whether Apple decides to manufacture its chips at TSMC or outside the company to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

The company has been consistently working on improving its chip manufacturing process since 2015 when it introduced its A10 Fusion chip. Its A12 Bionic chip was released in 2018, which had a die size of 6mm squared and was manufactured on the 10nm process by Samsung. The chip featured an artificial intelligence engine for machine learning tasks, which was capable of performing 20 trillion operations per second (20 TFLOPS). This made it one of the first commercially available chips that were capable of performing machine learning tasks at such a high speed.

Apple’s M3 chip is expected to be manufactured on the 7nm process and will probably feature the same AI engine as the A12 Bionic chip. The company is also rumored to be working on a new chip that will have a die size of 2mm squared and will be manufactured by TSMC. This chip is expected to be used in Apple’s new AirPod headphones, which are reported to come out in 2019.

Apple’s M1 Pro is rumored to come with a high-end camera sensor with a resolution of 40MP, which is an upgrade from the iPhone XS’ dual 12MP rear cameras. The company could launch two different versions of its M3 chips depending on whether they are meant for the iPhone XR or the upcoming AirPods. It could also use them for other devices like the Apple Watch or Mac computers, which may require different features than their flagship counterparts.

Apple is also working on a new chip for its AirPods. The company’s AirPods 2 is expected to come with a faster processor and an improved battery life. The new AirPod chip will also be manufactured on the 7nm process and may feature the same AI engine as the A12 Bionic chip.

The company is also rumored to be working on a new chip that will have a die size of 2mm squared and will be manufactured by TSMC. This chip is expected to be used in Apple’s new AirPod headphones, which are reported to come out in 2019.
