Runewords

Diablo 4 runewords are one of the most powerful weapons and armor in the game, yet one of the hardest to acquire. A runeword can only be created when an exact combination of runes are placed into an item with socketed slots - this process creates the weapon or armor in question.

These combinations create both a generator and passive or active spender skill, with the former determining how much Offering is generated and the latter acting as the activating condition to activate its spender Rune counterpart.

Each Runeword belongs to its own category, with specific rules that apply in that regard. For instance, body armor runes only work on items with no more than three sockets; weapon runes work only with specific weapon types, like axes and polearms or mace & clubs/hammers/scepters. Gems

Uniques can be found in similar locations as regular Uniques and dropped from similar enemies, yet are easily distinguished from them with their distinctive purple loot beam and tooltip. Furthermore, Tormented versions of endgame bosses provide them with higher chances of dropping these rare loot drops, making them an attractive target for players looking to boost their builds.
