I started as a practitioner in Family Court (as lawyer, mediator, instructor) more 20 years ago.  But the truth is I have been preparing for this path long before my work in family law.  It started when I realized that EVERYBODY & ANYBODY can have their lives wrecked by the break up of their family or by being left to parent their child on their own. I worked as an attorney for mothers, fathers and children in high conflict cases and the easier ones too.  No matter who they were or where they were from, they all experienced the same frustration, disappointment and overwhelm in their case. I decided to put my undergraduate education (in psychology), my passion for helping and my talents as a critical thinker to better use…helping people like you struggling to make it through the trauma of being in Family Court.  

•  What can I do for you as a Pro Se Family Court Strategist Coach that a lawyer can't do?

I have way more leeway to help you as a Strategist, than I do as a lawyer. Unlike when I was in private practice, I don’t owe any judges favors, I don’t have extensive overhead that requires me to constantly take on new clients when I don’t have the time and I don’t have financial interest in keeping your case dragged out.  But the one major difference, is that I have much more time and capacity to focus on what your case is probably missing most, having a solid strategy.  

I can’t guarantee you any specific results, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE CAN. But I can guarantee that the direction of your case will change for THE BETTER. If not, I will work with you until it does.*

•  Why work with me on your custody or divorce case?

I work WITH you on the ALL of the details of your situation AND your case. Nothing should be overlooked to determine which direction you should go in. This means that your personal circumstances, the circumstances of the other party, your judge, etc. ALL OF IT MATTERS.  Too many times lawyers, and self-represented tell themselves) will tell you that something isn’t important or that you can wait until a certain time. This isn’t the problem, the problem is that YOU SHOULD MAKE THAT DECISION FOR YOURSELF.  It’s important that you are at least aware of the risks, consequences, etc. of every move you plan to make.

•  What is your success rate?

I must admit, I am way more successful as a Family Court Strategist than I was as an attorney. Having the freedom to incorporate other “out of the norm” methods for reaching your goal is so much more rewarding. I have managed to help people get more satisfying results than before. I don’t like to call them “wins” because no one wins in Family Court (except the lawyers) but I can definitely count the success stories.
