After reed is used for one scent, you can no longer use it for another scent. The odor that has been absorbed in your reed will mix with the new odor and may produce an undesirable odor combination, so we do not recommend you to do this.

I have filled the diffuser with water, do I need new reeds?

If you have filled the diffuser with supplements, and the reeds are fully saturated, or they no longer diffuse/emit odor, they may be clogged with dust. The best way is to replace them with new reeds to make the smell roll again. We recommend that you complete this operation after the first filling, starting with a set of reeds, and the time should be about 6 months.

My reed diffuser does not smell as strong as before, even though there is still a lot of oil in the bottle. What can I do?

You can try to flip the reeds, this simple repositioning can help to promote the spreading process. However, do not turn them too frequently, because the more the reeds are turned, the faster the oil will disperse. You can also give the bottle a very gentle "vortex" or two, which can also help mix the ingredients in the oil and enhance the aroma. As we mentioned before, over time, the reeds will become fully saturated and may become clogged with dust. If you still have oil in your bottle, and flipping the reed seems to no avail, consider replacing the reed.
