However, the whole vaccination programme is a long and complicated process. The virus and the vaccine will persist for quite a long time. How to gradually ease the lockdown based on vaccination progress is an important issue, as both economic and epidemiological issues are involved. In this paper, we extend the classic SIR model to find optimal decision making to balance between economy and public health in the process of vaccination rollout. The model provides an approach of vaccine value estimation. Our results provide scientific suggestion for policymakers to make important decisions about when to start the lockdown and how strong it should be over the entire vaccination cycle.
We retrospectively compared 257 consecutive patients undergoing TAVR with self-expandable valves using either CON (
= 101) or COVL (
= 156) in four intermediate/low volume centers. There were no significant differences in baseline characteristics between the groups. The 30-day incidence of new-onset LBBB (12.9% vs. 5.8%;
=0.05) and PPMI rate (17.8% vs. 6.4%;
=0.004) was significantly lower when using the COVL implantation view. There was no difference between the CON and COVL groups in 30-day incidence of death (4.9% vs. 2.6%), any stroke (0% vs. 0.6%), and the need for surgical aortic valve replacement (0% for both groups).

The resting full-cycle ratio (RFR) is a novel resting index which in contrast to the gold standard (fractional flow reserve (FFR)) does not require maximum hyperemia induction. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the agreement between RFR and FFR with the currently recommended thresholds and to design a hybrid RFR-FFR ischemia detection strategy, allowing a reduction of coronary vasodilator use.
Patients subjected to invasive physiological study in 9 Spanish centers were prospectively recruited between April 2019 and March 2020. Sensitivity and specificity studies were made to assess diagnostic accuracy between the recommended levels of RFR ≤0.89 and FFR ≤0.80 (primary objective) and to determine the RFR "grey zone" in order to define a hybrid strategy with FFR affording 95% global agreement compared with FFR alone (secondary objective).
A total of 380 lesions were evaluated in 311 patients. Significant correlation was observed (
= 0.81;
< 0.001) between the two techniques, with 79% agreement between RFR ≤ 0.89 and FFR ≤ 0.80 (positive predictive value, 68%, and negative predictive value, 80%). The aim of this study was to examine the effect of NaN3 on quantitative and qualitative stem traits in the M2 generation of Ethiopian sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) genotypes. Seeds of fourteen sesame genotypes were used in this study and germinated and grown under greenhouse conditions. Different qualitative and quantitative data were collected and analyzed. Traits such as plant height, ground distance to first distance, and internode length were significantly affected by NaN3 treatment. The highest plant height was recorded in the control on Humera 1 and Baha Necho genotypes, while the lowest was observed on Setit 2 and Hirhir treated with the chemical. The highest ground distance to the first branch was observed in Gumero, while the least ground distance was recorded in Setit 1 in the treated and control genotypes, respectively.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is caused by neurodegenerative, but also vascular and hemostatic changes in the brain. The oral thrombin inhibitor dabigatran, which has been used for over a decade in preventing thromboembolism and has a well-known pharmacokinetic, safety and antidote profile, can be an option to treat vascular dysfunction in early AD, a condition known as cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). Recent results have revealed that amyloid-β proteins (Aβ), thrombin and fibrin play a crucial role in triggering vascular and parenchymal brain abnormalities in CAA. Dabigatran blocks soluble thrombin, thrombin-mediated formation of fibrin and Aβ-containing fibrin clots. These clots are deposited in brain parenchyma and blood vessels in areas of CAA. Fibrin-Aβ deposition causes microvascular constriction, occlusion and hemorrhage, leading to vascular and blood-brain barrier dysfunction. As a result, blood flow, perfusion and oxygen and nutrient supply are chronically reduced, mainly in hippocampal and neocortical brain areas. Dabigatran has the potential to preserve perfusion and oxygen delivery to the brain, and to prevent parenchymal Aβ-, thrombin- and fibrin-triggered inflammatory and neurodegenerative processes, leading to synapse and neuron death, and cognitive decline. Beneficial effects of dabigatran on CAA and AD have recently been shown in preclinical studies and in retrospective observer studies on patients. Therefore, clinical studies are warranted, in order to possibly expand dabigatran approval for repositioning for AD treatment.Acute and chronic transplant rejections due to alloreactivity are essential contributors to graft loss. However, the strength of alloreactivity is biased by non-immunological factors such as ischemia reperfusion injury (IRI). Accordingly, protection from IRI could be favorable in terms of limiting graft rejection. Caveolin-1 (Cav-1) is part of the cell membrane and an important regulator of intracellular signaling. Cav-1 has been demonstrated to limit IRI and to promote the survival of a variety of cell types including renal cells under stress conditions. Accordingly, Cav-1 could also play a role in limiting anti-graft immune responses. Here, we evaluated a possible association between pre-transplant serum concentrations of Cav-1 and the occurrence of rejection during follow-up in a pilot study. Therefore, Cav-1-serum concentrations were analyzed in 91 patients at the time of kidney transplantation and compared to the incidence of acute and chronic rejection. (4) Conclusion This cross-sectional study revealed modest age-specific associations between anxiety status and sugar intake among adults. In dengue virus (DENV), the NS4A hydrophilic N-terminal tail, together with the first transmembrane domain, is involved in both homo-oligomerization and hetero-oligomerization with NS4B. In both DENV and Zika virus (ZIKV), this N-terminal tail (residues 1-48) forms a random coil in solution but becomes mostly α-helical upon interaction with detergents or lipid membranes. Herein, we show that a peptide from ZIKV NS4A that spans residues 4-58, which includes most of the N-terminal tail and a third of its first transmembrane domain, forms homotrimers in the absence of detergents or liposomes. After interaction with the latter, α-helical content increases, consistent with binding. The oligomeric size of NS4A is not known, as it has only been reported in SDS gels. Therefore, we propose that full-length NS4A forms homotrimers mediated by this region, and that disruption of the oligomerization of peptide ZIKV NS4A 4-58 in solution can potentially constitute the basis for an in vitro assay to discover antivirals.
Circular RNA (circRNA) plays an important role in the carcinogenesis of various tumors. It is assumed that circRNAs have a high tissue and tumor specificity, thus they are discussed as cancer biomarkers. The knowledge about circRNAs in clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC) is limited so far, and thus we studied the expression profile of seven circRNAs (circCOL5A1, circEHD2, circEDEM2, circEGNL3, circNETO2, circSCARB1, circSOD2) in a cohort of ccRCC patients.
Fresh-frozen normal and cancerous tissues were prospectively collected from patients with ccRCC undergoing partial/radical nephrectomy. Total RNA was isolated from 121 ccRCC and 91 normal renal tissues, and the circRNA expression profile was determined using quantitative real-time PCR.
circEHD2, circENGLN3, and circNETO2 were upregulated in ccRCC compared with non-malignant renal tissue. circENGLN3 expression was highly discriminative between normal and cancerous tissue. None of the circRNAs was correlated with clinicopathological parameters. High circEHD2 and low circNETO2 levels were an independent predictor of a shortened progression-free survival, cancer-specific survival, and overall survival in patients with ccRCC undergoing nephrectomy.

Pilot and feasibility studies (PAFS) often have complex objectives aimed at assessing feasibility of conducting a larger study. These may not be clear to participants in pilot studies.
Here, we aimed to assess the transparency of informed consent in PAFS by investigating whether researchers communicate, through patient information leaflets and consent forms, key features of the studies. We collected this data from original versions of these documents submitted for ethics approval and the final approved documents for PAFS submitted to the Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board, Canada.
One hundred eighty-four PAFS, submitted for ethics approval from 2004 to 2020, were included, and we found that of the approved consent documents which were provided to participants, 83.2% (153) stated the terms "pilot" or "feasibility" in their title, 12% (22) stated the definition of a pilot/feasibility study, 42.4% (78) of the studies stated their intent to assess feasibility, 19.6% (36) stated the specific feasibility objectives, 1.6% (3) stated the criteria for success of the pilot study, and 0.5% (1) stated all five of these criteria. After ethics review, a small increase in transparency occurred, ranging from 1.6 to 2.8% depending on the criteria. By extracting data from the protocols of the PAFS, we found that 73.9% (136) stated intent to assess feasibility, 71.2% (131) stated specific feasibility objectives, and 33.7% (62) stated criteria for success of the study to lead to a larger study.

This study aimed to test the feasibility and acceptability of a 9-week online facilitator-supported CBT intervention, tailored for people with chronic IBD-related pain.
A single-arm pre-post design with nested qualitative interviews was used. Twenty individuals with IBD and chronic pain were recruited through an online IBD charity and had consented to research in a previous survey or responded to an online charity advert. Individuals who indicated a pain-interference score of ≥ 4/10 (Brief Pain Inventory) and met inclusion criteria were invited to take part. Outcomes included recruitment and retention rates, pain interference and severity, quality of life (QoL) and psychosocial measures.
Of 145 individuals contacted, 55 (37.9%) responded. Two individuals were recruited from the study advertisement. Twenty out ofess; however, online and face-to-face recruitment methods are recommended and establishing efficacy through larger randomised controlled trials is required.
The new coronavirus disease 2019 is an emerging respiratory disease caused by the highly contagious novel coronavirus which has currently overwhelmed the world. Realizing a comprehensive set of infection prevention measures is a key to minimize the spread of this virus and its impacts in all healthcare settings. Therefore, this study was aimed to assess the compliance towards COVID-19 preventive measures and associated factors among health professionals in selected public hospitals, southeast Ethiopia.
A descriptive hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 660 health professionals in public hospitals of southeast Ethiopia from October 1 to 31, 2020. A multistage sampling technique was used to select the study participants. Data were collected by interview using structured and pretested questionnaires. Ordinary logistic regression modeling was used to estimate the crude and adjusted odds ratio. To declare the statistical significance of factors associated with the outcome variable, P-value wards COVID-19 prevention practices. Thus, a consistent supply of COVID-19 prevention materials, facilities, and improving the knowledge of health professionals through on and off-job training are crucial.
Sepsis and septic shock are life-threatening diseases with high mortality rate in intensive care unit (ICU). Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication of sepsis, and its occurrence is a poor prognostic sign to septic patients. We analyzed co-differentially expressed genes (co-DEGs) to explore relationships between septic shock and AKI and reveal potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets of septic-shock-associated AKI (SSAKI).
Two gene expression datasets (GSE30718 and GSE57065) were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO). The GSE57065 dataset included 28 septic shock patients and 25 healthy volunteers and blood samples were collected within 0.5, 24 and 48 h after shock. Specimens of GSE30718 were collected from 26 patients with AKI and 11 control patents. AKI-DEGs and septic-shock-DEGs were identified using the two datasets. Subsequently, Gene Ontology (GO) functional analysis, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis, and protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analysis were performed to elucidate molecular mechanisms of DEGs.

Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta lagoon complex, located in the Colombian Caribbean, is a highly degraded estuarine system, in which massive deaths of organisms have occurred since the 1990s, causing socioeconomic effects on the inhabitants, who are mostly artisanal fishermen. These deaths have been attributed to the deoxygenation of the water at night, as a result of the eutrophication of the system. To understand the variability of dissolved oxygen and its relationship with other water quality variables, the monthly time series collected between 2001 and 2019, in seven stations of the Pajarales Complex (western side of the estuarine complex), were analyzed. Analyzes showed that there are significant differences between stations, as well as between the surface and the bottom of the water, indicating that the behavior of oxygen in the system is not homogeneous, a product of the hydrodynamics of the system. Also, temporal differences were found related to the periods of rain and drought, even with larger-scale climatic events such as El Niño and La Niña, with the lowest concentrations being recorded during the rainy seasons. On the other hand, the analysis of the time series of the average surface temperature of the seven stations analyzed showed a slight tendency to increase over time. Results indicate that the system is very dynamic and its oxygenation conditions are determined by climatic factors that promote changes in water chemistry, such as variations in salinity, temperature, and pH, and biological activity, determined by the abundance of the organisms. Analysis of this information becomes a tool to propose an alert system that allows reducing the impact of deaths.The presence of heat, methane (CH4) and oxygen in landfill sub-surface causes initiation of spontaneous waste ignition posing severe environmental impacts. A municipal solid waste (MSW) reactor (trough) was designed to monitor landfill gases (LFGs) i.e., CH4 and CO2 and its potential from different waste categories (synthetic waste, fresh waste, 3-month, 6-month, 3-year and 5-year-old waste) collected from open MSW dumpsite. The quantity of cellulose (C), hemicellulose (H) and lignin (L) contents (C + H L) present in organic waste fraction of each waste category was determined. Results showed that fresh waste which has higher ratio of C + H L is responsible for maximum CH4 and CO2 generation i.e., 31,660 and 46,078 ml/g of volatile solid, respectively. The ratio of C + H L observed in fresh waste, 3-month, 6-month, 3-year and 5-year-old waste was 2.62, 1.70, 1.32, 1.21 and 1, respectively. The study also showed that LFG generation is directly proportional to lignocellulose biomass contents present in MSW. The adsorption behaviour of BSA onto the membrane surface and the fouling layer structures under different ozone dosages were also investigated. These results were combined with the membrane fouling behaviour to identify the effect of ozonation on protein fouling. The results showed that ozonation could weaken the interaction forces between the membrane and BSA effectively, but this did not have any effect on membrane fouling. In contrast, in terms of membrane fouling behaviour after pre-ozonation, the contribution of the changes in the covalent disulfide bonds between BSA molecules outweighs those of the non-covalent bonds. The number of disulfide bonds gradually increased as the O3DOC ratio increased from 0 to 0.3, and began to decline when the O3DOC ratio was further increased to 0.45 and 0.6. BPA analogues are frequently detected in several matrices and their levels will continuously increase in the environment. Concerning health-related decisions, the influence was rated as high in drug use (45.2%), in accepting medical recommendations (45%), and in smoking (43.2%). Nitrogen-doped carbon coated transition metal hybrids for the removal of hazardous hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) has attracted increasing attention in wastewater treatment recently. In this study, three-dimensional nano-nickel particles embedded in N-doped carbon nanotubes supported on porous biochar (Ni@N-K-C) were synthesized by a two-stage strategy of KOH activation followed by annealing. The effect of KOH activation treatment on the doping process and Cr(VI) removal properties were investigated. The results indicate that KOH activation can improve the pore parameters and promote subsequent doping of Ni and N and the growth of carbon nanotubes (CNTs). After KOH pretreatment, the specific surface area of Ni@N-K-C increased significantly to 604.62 m2/g. The improved pore structure accelerates the mass diffusion of Cr(VI) ions and provides an available surface for the adsorption and reduction of Cr(VI). Therefore, the Ni@N-K-C obtained at 900 °C showed a high removal capacity for Cr(VI) (824.4 mg/g) and a stronger ability to reduce to Cr(III).The degradation of Pentoxifylline (PXF) was achieved successfully by green energy in a built-in solar photocatalytic system using hybrid LiCs ferrites (Li0.5Cs0.5FeO2) as magnetically recoverable photocatalysts. Both P and Fe might mitigate Y/Ce toxicity by limiting Y/Ce uptake into roots and improving nutritional status of wheats, whereas P can also decrease free Y/Ce ion activities in the exposure media. As for the mixture toxicity of Y and Ce, only improved P, but not Fe can exhibit approximately additive mixture toxicity, which can be adequately predicted by the simple Concentration Addition model. Internationally educated nurses experience multidimensional challenges affecting their acculturation process in a foreign country. Cultural differences have been highlighted by research as a common barrier. There is a need to understand the cross-cultural challenges experienced by internationally educated nurses to promote a culturally inclusive workplace, particularly when these nurses practice in another country wherein cultural attitudes and beliefs are different from their own.
To identify and synthesise the challenges to cultural values, beliefs, and practices of internationally educated nurses working in a foreign country.
An umbrella review was undertaken by synthesising evidence from systematic reviews.
Databases searched were MEDLINE, Embase, PsychINFO, CINAHL and Scopus. Reviews published between 2000-2019 were considered.
The review protocol was guided by the guidelines from the Joanna Briggs Institute. The Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Instrument for Systematic Reviews and R and practices. Further work is needed to enhance understanding and to promote a culturally sensitive workplace.

While such information can be applied to many drugs, there are specific oncology populations that could greatly benefit from pharmacogenomics-guided supportive care management due to high symptom burden, including those receiving palliative medicine and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The goal of this paper is to provide an overview of, and lessons learned from, the development of two prospective pharmacogenomics-guided interventional trials ("Supportive Care PGx Trial" and "Transplant PGx Trial") across two different clinical settings at the Levine Cancer Institute the Department of Supportive Oncology and the Transplant and Cellular Therapy section. Key considerations included the appropriate study design and endpoints (balancing study goals and resources), dissemination and application of individual pharmacogenetics results, technical details about assay development, and overall care coordination to minimize clinic disruption.In cancer research, two-stage designs are usually used to assess the effect of a new agent in phase II clinical trials. In this paper, we derive some estimation procedures, which include both standard and bias-corrected maximum likelihood estimates (MLE) and uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimate (UMVUE), for two binomial probabilities which are used to define the hypotheses for two co-primary endpoints tested in a two-stage phase II clinical trial. Simulation studies were performed to evaluate the performance of these procedures. These procedures are also applied to analyze the data from a phase II trial conducted by the Canadian Cancer Trials Group.

In this work, an ionic framework [Ph3ImH][Tf2N]2 constructed from protic imidazolium ionic liquid units through ionic and hydrogen bonding interactions was synthesized for selective ammonia uptake. The study finds that the morphology of NiCo2O4 can be regulated from nanosheets (NSs) to nanowires (NWs) as the hydrothermal reaction time increases, and the morphology of NiCo2O4 significantly affects the device performance. Specially, the device with NWs achieves a best efficiency of 11.58%, ascribed to the fact that such a one dimension material could provide a straight path for hole extraction/transport. Nearly 14% of US women report any lifetime infertility which is associated with healthcare costs and psychosocial consequences. Tubal factor infertility (TFI) often occurs as a result of sexually transmitted diseases and subsequent pelvic inflammatory disease. We sought to evaluate for and describe potential racial disparities in TFI and in vitro fertilization (IVF) prevalence.
Records of women aged 19-42 years in our retrospective cohort from two US infertility clinics were reviewed. We calculated TFI prevalence, IVF initiation prevalence, and prevalence ratios (PR), with 95% confidence intervals for each estimate, overall and by race.
Among 660 infertile women, 110 (16.7%; 95% confidence interval [CI] 13.8-19.5%) had TFI which was higher in black compared to white women (30.3% [33/109] vs. 13.9% [68/489]; PR 2.2 [95% CI 1.5-3.1]). For women with TFI, IVF was offered to similar proportions of women by race (51.5% [17/33] versus 52.9% [36/68] for black versus white women); however, fewer black than white women with TFI started IVF (6.7% [1/15] versus 31.0% [9/29]; PR 0.2 [95% CI 0-1.0]), although the difference was not statistically different.

Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and total mesorectal excision comprise the standard of care for rectal cancer in multiple guidelines. However, neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy has not exhibited clear survival benefits, but rather has led to an increase in adverse events. This is a retrospective analysis of a prospective database for patients who underwent gracilis muscle interposition for complex anal fistula from 2000 to 2018.
Patient demographics, operative data, and postoperative outcome were obtained from medical records. Office visits were used for follow-up.
All patients who underwent gracilis muscle interposition for complex anal fistula were included. Patients who underwent gracilis muscle interposition for reasons other than complex anal fistula were excluded.
The primary outcome measured was the healing of complex anal fistula following gracilis muscle interposition and following additional procedures, when needed.

The crude and adjusted for confounders models yielded null associations between SGA and overweight. Adjusting for height yielded a positive association (odds ratio (OR) 2.31, 95% CI 0.52-10.26) and adjusting for weight provided a significantly positive association (OR 6.60, 95% CI 1.10-37.14). The MSMs, with height and weight held constant, provided no evidence for a direct effect of SGA on overweight (OR 0.83, 95% CI 0.14-5.01, OR 0.71, 95% CI 0.18-2.81, respectively).

With immediate cord clamping (ICC), these infants can leave up to one-half of their normal circulating in utero blood volume in the placenta. Extremely preterm infants are at highest risk of harm from ICC yet are currently the most likely to receive ICC. Receiving a placenta transfusion provides infants with life-saving components and enhanced perfusion. We present some lesser-known but important effects of placental transfusion. New research reveals that enhanced vascular perfusion causes an organ's endothelial cells to release angiocrine responses to guide essential functions. High progesterone levels and pulmonary artery pressure in the first few hours of life assist with neonatal adaptation. We propose that lack of essential blood volume may be a major factor contributing to inflammation, morbidities, and mortality that preterm infants frequently encounter.There is a large body of evidence demonstrating that delaying clamping of the umbilical cord provides benefits for term and preterm infants. These benefits include reductions in mortality in preterm infants and improved developmental scores at 4 years of age in term infants. However, non-breathing or non-vigorous infants at birth are excluded due to the perceived need for immediate resuscitation. Recent studies have demonstrated early physiological benefits in both human and animal models if resuscitation is performed with an intact cord, but this is still an active area of research. Given the large number of ongoing and planned trials, we have brought together an international group that have been intimately involved in the development or use of resuscitation equipment designed to be used while the cord is still intact. In this review, we will present the benefits and limitations of devices that have been developed or are in use. Published trials or ongoing studies using their respective devices will also be reviewed.
To evaluate COVID-19 pandemic preparedness, available resources, and guidelines for neonatal care delivery among neonatal health care providers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) across all continents.
Cross-sectional, web-based survey administered between May and June, 2020.
Of 189 invited participants in 69 LMICs, we received 145 (77%) responses from 58 (84%) countries. The pandemic provides significant challenges to neonatal care, particularly in low-income countries. Respondents noted exacerbations of preexisting shortages in staffing, equipment, and isolation capabilities. In Sub-Saharan Africa, 9/35 (26%) respondents noted increased mortality in non-COVID-19-infected infants. Clinical practices on cord clamping, isolation, and breastfeeding varied widely, often not in line with World Health Organization guidelines. Most respondents noted family access restrictions, and limited shared decision-making.
Many LMICs face an exacerbation of preexisting resource challenges for neonatal care during the pandemic. Variable approaches to care delivery and deviations from guidelines provide opportunities for international collaborative improvement.

With immediate cord clamping (ICC), these infants can leave up to one-half of their normal circulating in utero blood volume in the placenta. Extremely preterm infants are at highest risk of harm from ICC yet are currently the most likely to receive ICC. Receiving a placenta transfusion provides infants with life-saving components and enhanced perfusion. We present some lesser-known but important effects of placental transfusion. New research reveals that enhanced vascular perfusion causes an organ's endothelial cells to release angiocrine responses to guide essential functions. High progesterone levels and pulmonary artery pressure in the first few hours of life assist with neonatal adaptation. We propose that lack of essential blood volume may be a major factor contributing to inflammation, morbidities, and mortality that preterm infants frequently encounter.There is a large body of evidence demonstrating that delaying clamping of the umbilical cord provides benefits for term and preterm infants. These benefits include reductions in mortality in preterm infants and improved developmental scores at 4 years of age in term infants. However, non-breathing or non-vigorous infants at birth are excluded due to the perceived need for immediate resuscitation. Recent studies have demonstrated early physiological benefits in both human and animal models if resuscitation is performed with an intact cord, but this is still an active area of research. Given the large number of ongoing and planned trials, we have brought together an international group that have been intimately involved in the development or use of resuscitation equipment designed to be used while the cord is still intact. In this review, we will present the benefits and limitations of devices that have been developed or are in use. Published trials or ongoing studies using their respective devices will also be reviewed. To evaluate COVID-19 pandemic preparedness, available resources, and guidelines for neonatal care delivery among neonatal health care providers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) across all continents. Cross-sectional, web-based survey administered between May and June, 2020. Of 189 invited participants in 69 LMICs, we received 145 (77%) responses from 58 (84%) countries. The pandemic provides significant challenges to neonatal care, particularly in low-income countries. Respondents noted exacerbations of preexisting shortages in staffing, equipment, and isolation capabilities. In Sub-Saharan Africa, 9/35 (26%) respondents noted increased mortality in non-COVID-19-infected infants. Clinical practices on cord clamping, isolation, and breastfeeding varied widely, often not in line with World Health Organization guidelines. Most respondents noted family access restrictions, and limited shared decision-making. Many LMICs face an exacerbation of preexisting resource challenges for neonatal care during the pandemic.
