This influx of more and novice visitors poses challenges for forest managers and urban forest policy. It is, however, also a unique opportunity for a substantial engagement of forestry with society at large, that has implications for forest policy, especially in urban areas, possibly beyond the COVID-19 pandemic era.This study evaluates the potential value of eudaimonic well-being in assessing pro-preventive orientation towards suicide and recognizing suicide as a solution. The aim was to integrate positive and negative conceptualizations of mental health for predicting attitudes towards suicide, and towards suicide prevention, among students of the helping professions. The study participants (166 women and 73 men, mean age 22.84 ± 5.15) answered a set of questionnaires, including a Questionnaire on Attitudes Towards Suicide, Goldberg Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWB-42) and Centrality of Religiosity Scale. Multiple regression analysis showed that environmental mastery, purpose in life and positive relationships, controlled for religiousness and psychological problems related to general mental health, predicted the variability of attitudes towards suicide and pro-preventive orientation. Sociodemographic variables were not related to attitudes towards suicide. Our findings suggest that positive mental health, represented jointly by low mental health problems and eudaimonic components of happiness, plays a role in predicting pro-preventive attitudes. Therefore, improving positive mental health among students in the helping professions, these being the future gatekeepers, could be considered an auxiliary strategy for suicide prevention.For the treatment of various viral infections, antiviral drugs may be used. The comparison of plasmonic properties and sensing characteristics e.g., FWHM, quality factor, sensitivity and figure of merit is presented for graphene and silica based sensors. It is reported that the sensitivity = 171.68 (nm/RIU) and figure of merit = 3.57 × 104 (nm/RIU) can be attained. The present work suggests that graphene coated refractory nitrides based core-shell structures may emerge as ultrasensitive biosensor.Plastics have become a severe transboundary threat to natural ecosystems and human health, with studies predicting a twofold increase in the number of plastic debris (including micro and nano-sized plastics) by 2030. However, such predictions will likely be aggravated by the excessive use and consumption of single-use plastics (including personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves) due to COVID-19 pandemic. This review aimed to provide a comprehensive overview on the effects of COVID-19 on macroplastic pollution and its potential implications on the environment and human health considering short- and long-term scenarios; addressing the main challenges and discussing potential strategies to overcome them. It emphasises that future measures, involved in an emergent health crisis or not, should reflect a balance between public health and environmental safety as they are both undoubtedly connected. Although the use and consumption of plastics significantly improved our quality of life, it is crucial to shift towards sustainable alternatives, such as bio-based plastics. Plastics should remain in the top of the political agenda in Europe and across the world, not only to minimise plastic leakage and pollution, but to promote sustainable growth and to stimulate both green and blue- economies. Discussions on this topic, particularly considering the excessive use of plastic, should start soon with the involvement of the scientific community, plastic producers and politicians in order to be prepared for the near future.

The aim of our study is to explore population level patterns of protein purchasing and consumption in ageing adults (40 years onwards).
We used diet survey data from the National Diet and Nutrition Survey (2014-16) on food consumption, and loyalty card records on food purchases from a major high street supermarket retailer (2016-17) covering the UK. We computed the percentage of total energy derived from protein, protein intake per kg of body mass, and percentage of protein acquired by food type.
We found that protein consumption (as the percentage of total energy purchased) increased between ages 40-65 years, and decl when combined with traditional sources of dietary intake may enhance our understanding of dietary behaviours.
The substantial prevalence and consequences of intimate partner violence (IPV) underscore the need for effective healthcare response in the way of screening and follow up care. Despite growing evidence regarding perspectives on healthcare-based screening for IPV experiences (i.e., victimization), there is an extremely limited evidence-base to inform practice and policy for detecting IPV use (i.e., perpetration). This study identified barriers, facilitators, and implementation preferences among United States (US) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) patients and providers for IPV use screening.
We conducted qualitative interviews with patients enrolled in VHA healthcare (N = 10) and focus groups with VHA providers across professional disciplines (N = 29). Data was analyzed using thematic and content analyses.
Qualitative analysis revealed convergence between patients' and providers' beliefs regarding key factors for IPV use screening, including the importance of a strong rapport, clear and comprehensive processes and procedures, universal implementation of screening, and a self-report screening tool that assesses for both IPV use and experiences concurrently.
Findings provide foundational information regarding patient and provider barriers, facilitators, and preferences for IPV use screening that can inform clinical practice and next steps in this important but understudied aspect of healthcare.

Participants were categorized into four subgroups stratified by self-reported snoring frequency never, rarely (< 1 night per week), occasionally (1-2 nights per week), regularly (≥3 nights per week), while body composition was measured using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). Given the endocannabinoid signalling local tight regulation, we hypothesize the involvement of other 2-AG degradative enzymes. Indeed, THC increases the expression of the hydrolyzing enzymes alpha beta hydrolase domain-6 (ABHD6) and -12 (ABHD12), that we firstly describe in human placental tissues. The results show that THC, depending on time of exposure, induces alterations in 2-AG metabolic enzymes expression in placental explants, highlighting the importance of 2-AG regulation and endocannabinoid signalling in placental development. The expression of diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2, a rate-limiting enzyme in triacylglycerol synthesis, as well as triacylglycerol levels were increased in CMT2B compared to control cells. The analysis aims to assess the cost-effectiveness of cefuroxime (Aprokam®) in the prophylaxis of postoperative endophthalmitis (POE) after cataract surgery compared with the absence of antibiotic prophylaxis from the National Health Fund perspective in Poland.
We performed a cost-effectiveness and cost-utility analysis using the decision tree and Markov model, respectively, for patients after cataract surgery. The efficacy of Aprokam was 0.21 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.08-0.55) and is based on the results of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery study. According to the epidemiological data from Poland, the risk of POE is 0.377%. The costs associated with the Aprokam administration and POE treatment costs were included. We determined the utilities of the health states in the model depending on visual loss due to POE. To determine the uncertainty of estimates parameters, a one-way deterministic and probabilistic sensitivity analysis were performed.
Using Aprokam allows avoiding 0.003 POEs per patient. The benefit from the intervention is 0.0007 quality-adjusted life years per patient in the lifetime horizon. The total costs of prophylaxis are higher at about €1.70. The cost of avoiding one POE (incremental cost-effectiveness ratio) is about €569.85. The estimated incremental cost-effectiveness utility ratio is equal to €2427.72/quality-adjusted life-years, and it is significantly lower than the cost-effectiveness threshold in Poland in 2019 (about 7.5% of the threshold). In all scenarios of performed one-way sensitivity analyses, Aprokam is cost-effective.

The aim of the present study was to determine the changes of serum chromogranin A (CgA) levels upon depression by investigating the relationship between serum CgA levels and the depressive symptoms assessed by 24-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HRSD-24).
Serum CgA levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 133 male patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and were compared with those of 47 healthy controls. Then generalized linear regression, logistic regression and restricted cubic spline models were performed to examine the association between serum CgA levels and depressive symptoms.
Serum CgA levels were lower in MDD patients than in controls (P<0.001) and were inversely associated with scores on HRSD-24 in unadjusted, age, smoking, alcohol consumption, traumatic life events and family history of depression-adjusted and fully adjusted linear regression model. The fully adjusted regression coefficient with 95% confidence intervals was -0.028 (-0.045, -0.010) for serum CgA levels and HRSD-24 score. Serum CgA levels were inversely associated with depressive symptoms (HRSD ≥20) in each logistic regression model.
Serum CgA decrease was noted in male patients of MDD and may be inversely associated with depressive symptoms.

We performed a cost-effectiveness and cost-utility analysis using the decision tree and Markov model, respectively, for patients after cataract surgery. The efficacy of Aprokam was 0.21 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.08-0.55) and is based on the results of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery study. According to the epidemiological data from Poland, the risk of POE is 0.377%. The costs associated with the Aprokam administration and POE treatment costs were included. We determined the utilities of the health states in the model depending on visual loss due to POE. To determine the uncertainty of estimates parameters, a one-way deterministic and probabilistic sensitivity analysis were performed. Using Aprokam allows avoiding 0.003 POEs per patient. The benefit from the intervention is 0.0007 quality-adjusted life years per patient in the lifetime horizon. The total costs of prophylaxis are higher at about €1.70. The cost of avoiding one POE (incremental cost-effectiveness ratio) is about €569.85. The estimated incremental cost-effectiveness utility ratio is equal to €2427.72/quality-adjusted life-years, and it is significantly lower than the cost-effectiveness threshold in Poland in 2019 (about 7.5% of the threshold). Patients with body mass index (BMI) above the median (34.9 kg/m2 ), versus BMI below the median, had a correlation coefficient between fructosamine and HbA1c significantly reduced (r = 0.358 vs r = 0.765). In the whole population, fructosamine was correlated negatively with BMI and fat mass. In multivariate analysis, fructosamine was associated with HbA1c (positively) and fat mass (negatively), but not with BMI, liver fat or fat distribution. Bacterial infection models have explored mechanisms of within-generation and multigenerational priming that span chromatin modification and transcriptional changes, small RNA pathways, maternal provisioning and pathogen avoidance strategies. Together, these studies are providing novel insight into the immune reactivity of the genome and have important consequences for our understanding of health and evolution. Moreover, high structural complexity, poor pharmacokinetic properties, and low antibacterial activity of natural antimicrobial peptides hinder their progress in drug development. To overcome these hurdles, researchers have become increasingly interested in modification and nature-inspired synthetic antimicrobial peptides. This review discusses some of the recent studies reported on antimicrobial peptides.

Here we present a 49-year-old female patient presented with headache and neurological symptoms. Initial evaluation revealed multiple ring-enhanced brain lesions and a lung cavitary lesion initially suspected to represent a malignant process. Stereotactic aspiration provided the diagnosis of brain abscesses but yielded negative cultures. 16S ribosomal RNA analysis enabled the identification of Fusobacterium nucleatum. For ten weeks, the patient was treated with ceftriaxone and metronidazole. A marked clinical and radiological improvement was noted. Brain abscess is a severe intracranial infectious process with significant morbidity and mortality. Microbiological analysis is challenging due to the location of the infection, the broad spectrum of causative agents, and the low yield of cultures. Fusobacterium nucleatum is an anaerobic bacteria with a tendency to abscess formation and is isolated from 2% of brain abscesses. The utilization of 16S RNA analysis improves microbiological identification rates in brain abscesses, as in other infectious entities, enabling better pathogen characterization and more suitable treatment.Oral nintedanib is marketed for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), Systemic Sclerosis-Associated Interstitial Lung Disease and Chronic Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseases with a Progressive Phenotype. While effective at slowing fibrosis progression, as an oral medicine nintedanib has limitations. To reduce side effects and maximize efficacy, nintedanib was reformulated as a solution for nebulization and inhaled administration. To predict effectiveness treating IPF, inhalation was used as a tool to dissect the pharmacokinetic components required for nintedanib pulmonary anti-fibrotic activity. Following oral administration, nintedanib extensively partitioned into tissue and exhibited flip-flop pharmacokinetics, whereby resulting lung Cmax and AUC were substantially higher than plasma. By comparison, inhaled nintedanib was capable of delivering an oral-equivalent lung Cmax with lower local and systemic AUC. Using a multi-challenge bleomycin rat model, this distinct inhaled pharmacokinetic profile was dose responsive (0.05, 0.25 and 0.375 mg/kg), delivering oral-superior pulmonary anti-fibrotic activity with an equivalent delivered lung Cmax (QD inhaled 0.375 mg/kg versus BID oral 60 mg/kg). Possibly assisting this improvement, the infrequent high inhaled dose also improved bleomycin-challenged animal weight gain to levels equivalent to sham. By comparison, BID oral weight gain was substantially less than controls, suggesting a negative health impact on oral administered animals combating fibrosis. Both oral and inhaled administration exhibited anti-inflammatory activity, with oral achieving significance. In response to this goal, the Ottawa Heart Institute has developed and implemented a novel Very Early Hospital Discharge (VEHD) protocol. The VEHD protocol is a simple, 4-step algorithm designed to accurately and efficiently identify low-risk STEMI patients who can be safely discharged between 20 and 36 hours after successful primary percutaneous coronary intervention. When deemed eligible for VEHD predischarge tasks are completed by the treating medical and nursing team and the patient is discharged home. The VEHD protocol is a simple, 4-step algorithm designed to accurately and efficiently identify low-risk STEMI patients who can be safely discharged between 20 and 36 hours after successful primary percutaneous coronary intervention. When deemed eligible for VEHD predischarge tasks are completed by the treating medical and nursing team and the patient is discharged home. We computed logistic regression models adjusted for age, sex, BMI, smoking status, and hypertension. Additionally, we investigated associations with incident type 2 diabetes and performed two-sample bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to prioritize our results. Association analysis of prevalent type 2 diabetes revealed 24 replicated proteins, of which 8 are novel. Proteins showing association with incident type 2 diabetes were aminoacylase-1, growth hormone receptor, and insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 2. Aminoacylase-1 was associated with both prevalent and incident type 2 diabetes. MR analysis yielded nominally significant causal effects of type 2 diabetes on cathepsin Z and rennin, both known to have roles in the pathophysiological pathways of cardiovascular disease, and of sex hormone-binding globulin on type 2 diabetes. In conclusion, our high-throughput proteomics study replicated previously reported type 2 diabetes-protein associations and identified new candidate proteins possibly involved in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes.

With the spread of COVID-19, pockets exist in every country with different viral expressions. In the Chareidi ('ultra-orthodox') religious community, for example, rates of COVID-19 transmission and dissemination are above average compared with other communities within the same countries. While viral spread in densely populated communities is common during pandemics, several reasons have been suggested to explain the blatant flouting of public health regulations. It is easy to fault the Chareidi population for their proliferation of COVID-19, partly due to their avoidance of social media and internet aversion. However, the question remains who is to blame for their community crisis? The ethical argument suggests that from a public health perspective, the physician needs to reach out and share medical knowledge with the community. The public's best interests are critical in a pandemic and should supersede any considerations of cultural differences. By all indications, therefore, the physician has an ethical obligation to promote population healthcare and share medical knowledge based on ethical concepts of beneficence, non-maleficence, utilitarian ethics as well as social, procedural and distributive justice. Then we analyse two main barriers to achieving explicit consent for educational pelvic EUAs ambiguity within professional guidelines on how to operationalize 'explicit consent' and divergent patient and physician perspectives on harm which prevent physicians from understanding what a reasonable patient would want to know before a procedure. To overcome these barriers, we advocate for more research on patient perspectives to empower the reasonable patient standard. Next, we call for minimum disclosure standards informed by this research and created in conjunction with students, physicians and patients to improve the informed consent process and relieve medical student moral injury caused by performing 'unconsented' educational pelvic exams.Specific E3 ligases target tumor suppressors for degradation. In addition, we validated OTU domain-containing protein 5 and Protein mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase PARP10 as TNKS1/2-independent substrates of RNF146 and SARDH as a novel substrate of TNKS1/2 and RNF146. Our study is the first proteome-wide analysis of potential RNF146 substrates. Together, these findings not only demonstrate that proteome profiling can be a useful general approach for the systemic identification of substrates of E3 ligases but also reveal new substrates of RNF146, which provides a resource for further functional studies.Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a debilitating lung disease associated with cigarette smoking. Alterations in local lung and systemic iron regulation are associated with disease progression and pathogenesis. Hepcidin, an iron regulatory peptide hormone, is altered in subjects with COPD; however, the molecular role of hepcidin in COPD pathogenesis remains to be determined. In this study, using a murine model of smoke-induced COPD, we demonstrate that lung and circulating hepcidin levels are inhibited by cigarette smoke. We show that cigarette smoke exposure increases erythropoietin and bone marrow-derived erythroferrone and leads to expanded but inefficient erythropoiesis in murine bone marrow and an increase in ferroportin on alveolar macrophages (AMs). AMs from smokers and subjects with COPD display increased expression of ferroportin as well as hepcidin. Notably, murine AMs exposed to smoke fail to increase hepcidin in response to Gram-negative or Gram-positive infection. Loss of hepcidin in vivo results in blunted functional responses of AMs and exaggerated responses to Streptococcus pneumoniae infection.

The aqueous chemistry of uranium is dominated by the linear uranyl cation [UO2]2+, yet the isoelectronic nitrogen-based analogue of this ubiquitous cation, molecular [UN2], has so far only been observed in an argon matrix. Here, we present three different complexes of [UN2] obtained by the reaction of the uranium pentahalides UCl5 or UBr5 with anhydrous liquid ammonia. The [UN2] moieties are linear, with the U atoms coordinated by five additional ligands (ammonia, chloride or bromide), resulting in a pentagonal bipyramidal coordination sphere that is also commonly adopted by the uranyl cation [UO2(L)5]2+ (L, ligand). In all three cases, the nitrido ligands are further coordinated through their lone pairs by the Lewis-acidic ligands [U(NH3)8]4+ to form almost linear, trinuclear complex cations. The aqueous chemistry of uranium is dominated by the linear uranyl cation [UO2]2+, yet the isoelectronic nitrogen-based analogue of this ubiquitous cation, molecular [UN2], has so far only been observed in an argon matrix. To determine the feasibility of and correlation between spirometry and IOS in pre-school children born extremely preterm.
Spirometry and IOS were performed in 6-year-old children born extremely preterm (n = 88) and age-matched term controls (n = 84) in Stockholm, Sweden. Correlations between spirometry and IOS outcome variables were analyzed using Pearson's partial correlation, adjusting for height.
Success rate for spirometry (60%) was lower than for IOS (93%) but did not differ significantly between the preterm and term groups (56% and 64% for spirometry, P = .25; and 92% and 94% for IOS, P = .61). Correlations between spirometry and IOS outcomes were at best moderate (Spearman's r = -0.31 to -0.56). Normal IOS identified 69% to 90% of those with normal spirometry. A negative predictive value of 90% was found for R5-R20 versus FEV
/FVC, suggesting that IOS may be used to exclude obstructive airway disease as measured by spirometry.

To compare planning indices achieved using manual and inverse planning approaches for Gamma Knife radiosurgery of arterio-venous malformations (AVMs).
For a series of consecutive AVM patients, treatment plans were manually created by expert planners using Leksell GammaPlan (LGP). Patients were re-planned using a new commercially released inverse planning system, IntuitivePlan. Plan quality metrics were calculated for both groups of plans and compared.
Overall, IntuitivePlan created treatment plans of similar quality to expert planners. CMC constitute a small proportion of children, but have very high need for health services, are hospitalized frequently, and account for significant proportion of pediatric healthcare expenditures. High-quality home health nursing services are important for CMC, but models of care of home healthcare, after discharge of CMC from the hospital, have not been tested. Our project aims are to develop, implement, and test a model of care, called ICollab, to improve home healthcare delivery for CMC. The ICollab model consists of collaboration between HHN, primary-care physicians and clinicians of the complex care program of a tertiary-care children's hospital in the care of CMC. In this randomized clinical trial, we will recruit 110 CMC discharged home on home health nursing services. The intervention group (n = 55) will receive the ICollab intervention for 6 months post-discharge from the hospital, in addition to usual care. Children in the control group (n = 55) will receive only usual care. Results of this study have the potential to provide a critically needed evidence-base for interventions to improve the quality of healthcare delivery for CMC. The measures taken to control the spread of the virus and the slowdown of economic activities have significant effects on the environment. Therefore, this study intends to explore the positive and negative environmental impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, by reviewing the available scientific literatures. This study indicates that, the pandemic situation significantly improves air quality in different cities across the world, reduces GHGs emission, lessens water pollution and noise, and reduces the pressure on the tourist destinations, which may assist with the restoration of the ecological system. In addition, there are also some negative consequences of COVID-19, such as increase of medical waste, haphazard use and disposal of disinfectants, mask, and gloves; and burden of untreated wastes continuously endangering the environment. It seems that, economic activities will return soon after the pandemic, and the situation might change. Hence, this study also outlines possible ways to achieve long-term environmental benefits. It is expected that the proper implementation of the proposed strategies might be helpful for the global environmental sustainability.The increasing concern of environmental degradation and climate change impacts of agricultural-based activities are becoming more pronounced in the Sub-Sahara region of Africa especially due to urgent drive to meeting food, healthy diet, and economic needs. The empirical analysis used a panel data for the period 1980-2014 for the selected countries in sub-Saharan Africa. The Kao test uncovers a cointegration between carbon dioxide emissions, Real Gross domestic product, Total natural rent, agriculture and urbanization. The panel Pooled Mean Autoregressive distributed lag model (PMG-ARDL) posits a positive and significant connection between the gross domestic product and CO2 emissions in the long run. Our examination asserts that agricultural value-added reduces emissions in sub-Saharan Africa while urbanization and natural resource rent both increases CO2 emissions in the long run. In addition, the causality analysis reveals a bidirectional link between agriculture value-added and CO2 emissions. Essentially, policymakers in African nations must pay close attention to the issues of rural-urban drift as this leads to more emissions.

In this study, the Tildipirosin activity to 100 Brazilian clinical isolates of G. parasuis was assessed using a broth microdilution assay. A total of 90% of G. parasuis isolates were sensitive at concentrations ≤ 4 µg/mL Tildipirosin, thus showing to be efficiently controlled by the therapeutic concentration recommended for pigs. On the other hand, a total of ten isolates have shown resistance to this antibiotic, with a minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) ≥ 8 and ≤ 16 µg/ml. CMC constitute a small proportion of children, but have very high need for health services, are hospitalized frequently, and account for significant proportion of pediatric healthcare expenditures. High-quality home health nursing services are important for CMC, but models of care of home healthcare, after discharge of CMC from the hospital, have not been tested. Our project aims are to develop, implement, and test a model of care, called ICollab, to improve home healthcare delivery for CMC. The ICollab model consists of collaboration between HHN, primary-care physicians and clinicians of the complex care program of a tertiary-care children's hospital in the care of CMC. In this randomized clinical trial, we will recruit 110 CMC discharged home on home health nursing services. The intervention group (n = 55) will receive the ICollab intervention for 6 months post-discharge from the hospital, in addition to usual care. Children in the control group (n = 55) will receive only usual care. Shared decision making for adults with severe mental illness has increasingly attracted attention. However, this concept has not been comprehensively clarified. This review aimed to clarify a concept of shared decision making for adults with severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, depression, and bipolar disorder, and propose an adequate definition.
Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis was used. MEDLINE, PsychINFO, and CINAHL were searched for articles written in English and published between 2010 and November 2019. The search terms were "psychiatr*" or "mental" or "schizophren*" or "depression" or "bipolar disorder", combined with "shared decision making". In total, 70 articles met the inclusion criteria. An inductive approach was used to identify themes and sub-themes related to shared decision making for adults with severe mental illness. Surrogate terms and a definition of the concept were also described.

Other dermatoses treated by indigenous products included impetigo and other bacterial infections, seborrheic dermatitis, dermatophytoses, verruca, molluscum, hypopigmentary disorders, etc. In Indian setup, home remedies are commonly used by the caregivers before visiting a dermatologist to treat various pediatric dermatoses.Gold nanoparticles (GNPs)-based photothermal therapy (PTT) is a promising minimally invasive thermal therapy for the treatment of focal malignancies. Emphasis is given to the assessment of the GNPs' properties and the physical mechanisms underlying the laser-induced heat generation in GNPs-loaded tissues. The main techniques available for temperature measurement and the current theoretical simulation approaches predicting the therapeutic outcome are reviewed. Topical challenges in delivering safe thermal dosage are also presented with the aim to discuss the state-of-the-art and the future perspective in the field of GNPs-mediated PTT.Progranulin (PGRN) and transmembrane protein 106B (TMEM106B) are important lysosomal proteins implicated in frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and other neurodegenerative disorders. The aim of this post hoc analysis from the Japanese mirabegron surveillance program was to investigate the safety and effectiveness of mirabegron in male patients with overactive bladder (OAB) symptoms with/without concomitant benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
This 12-week study included patients who were starting mirabegron treatment for the OAB symptoms of urinary urgency, daytime frequency, and urgency urinary incontinence. Patients were stratified according to BPH diagnosis, and patients with BPH were stratified into those who did/did not receive BPH-specific treatment. Assessments included adverse drug reactions (ADRs), residual urine volume evaluations, and total Overactive Bladder Symptom Score (OABSS) and International Prostate Symptom Score-Quality of Life (IPSS-QoL) measurements.
