This editorial discusses the potential of PROMs to transform clinical practice, provides examples of health systems using PROMs to guide care, and identifies barriers to aggregating data from PROMs to conduct health services research. To assess the therapeutic effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for moderate-to-severe carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS).
A prospective, randomized, double-blinded, controlled trial (1-year follow-up).

Patients (N=26) who were diagnosed with bilateral moderate-to-severe CTS (total 52 wrists) were included. For each patient, one wrist was randomized into either the PRP or control group and the contralateral wrist of the same patient was allocated to another group. Twenty-four patients were included in the final data analysis.
The wrists in the PRP group received a single ultrasound-guided dose of PRP injection (3.5mL), and the control group received a single ultrasound-guided injection with normal saline (3.5mL).

An appropriate surface reconstruction algorithm is essential in obtaining accurate topography information from the digitized interferograms. However, the performance of a surface reconstruction algorithm in interferometric measurements is influenced by environmental disturbances and system noise. This paper presents a comparative analysis of three algorithms commonly used for coherence envelope detection in vertical scanning interferometry, including the centroid method, fast Fourier transform (FFT), and Hilbert transform (HT). Numerical analysis and experimental studies were carried out to evaluate the performance of different envelope detection algorithms in terms of measurement accuracy, speed, and noise resistance. Step height standards were measured using a developed interferometer and the step profiles were reconstructed by different algorithms. The results show that the centroid method has a higher measurement speed than the FFT and HT methods, but it can only provide acceptable measurement accuracy at a low noise level. The FFT and HT methods outperform the centroid method in terms of noise immunity and measurement accuracy. Even if the FFT and HT methods provide similar measurement accuracy, the HT method has a superior measurement speed compared to the FFT method.Capsaicin-sensitive peptidergic sensory nerves play complex, mainly protective regulatory roles in the inflammatory cascade of the joints via neuropeptide mediators, but the mechanisms of the hyperacute arthritis phase has not been investigated. Disease severity was assessed by clinical scoring, reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst by chemiluminescent, vascular permeability by fluorescent in vivo imaging. Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging was used to correlate the functional and morphological changes. (2) Methods Our study was conducted on 111 patients who were about to receive fixed orthodontic treatment. We determined the salivary levels of MMP-8 and MMP-9 and bleeding on probing (BOP) before applying the orthodontic fixed appliance (T1), one week after appliance placement (T2), and during orthodontic treatment, one month after non-surgical periodontal treatment (T3). (3) Results Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment show a significant increase in BOP, MMP-8, and MMP-9 levels one week after orthodontic appliance placement (T2) and a decrease in these parameters one month after periodontal treatment (T3). Statistically significant correlations were found between MMP-8 levels and BOP values at T1, T2, and T3. (4) Conclusion In our study patients undergoing orthodontic treatment show a significant increase in BOP, MMP-8, and MMP-9 levels one week after orthodontic appliance placement and a decrease in these parameters one month after periodontal treatment. Strong positive statistically significant correlations were found between MMP-8 levels and BOP and medium positive statistically significant correlations between MMP-9 and BOP values before and after orthodontic treatment and periodontal treatment. To explore the effect of unknown genes on the biological characteristics of ASFV and the possibility of a gene-deleted isolate as a vaccine candidate, the strain SY18ΔL7-11, with deletions of L7L-L11L genes from ASFV SY18, was constructed, and its biological properties were analyzed. The results show that deletion of genes L7L-L11L did not affect replication of the virus in vitro. Virulence of SY18â–³L7-11 was significantly reduced, as 11 of the 12 pigs survived for 28 days after intramuscular inoculation with a low dose (103 TCID50) or a high dose (106 TCID50) of SY18ΔL7-11. All 11 surviving pigs were completely protected against challenge with the parental ASFV SY18 on 28 days postinoculation (dpi). Transient fever and/or irregularly low levels of genomic DNA in the blood were monitored in some pigs after inoculation. No ASF clinical signs or viremia were monitored after challenge. Antibodies to ASFV were induced in all pigs from 14 to 21 days postinoculation. IFN-γ was detected in most of the inoculated pigs, which is usually inhibited in ASFV-infected pigs. Overall, the results demonstrate that SY18ΔL7-11 is a candidate for further constructing safer vaccine(s), with better joint deletions of other gene(s) related to virulence.

Some studies report cases of unintended pregnancies among transgender men under masculinizing therapy, therefore T treatment cannot be considered a contraceptive option. Currently available contraceptive options have pros and cons in transmen and scarce literature exists on their use. The effects of GAHT on fertility in transwomen are even less well known. Prolonged estrogen exposure induces sperm suppression and morphological changes of the spermatozoa, however the degree of resulting pregnancy protection is unclear. Further research to inform the contraceptive counseling in this population is mandatory.Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) represents a common condition among transgender women. However, to date no specific guidelines for the management of HSDD in transgender persons are available. The aim of the present narrative Review is to evaluate evidence-based treatment for HSDD and to suggest treatment options for HSDD in transgender women. Clinically relevant publications on the management of HSDD (from 1985 to 2020) were searched in PubMed and Medline databases, using the following terms "sexual desire", "sexual health", "HSDD", "transgender", "gender-affirming treatment", "sexual therapy", "testosterone treatment", "Central nervous system-active medications", and variants. Since sexual desire could be affected by several factors, a comprehensive assessment of HSDD- exploring biological, psychological, and social domains- is recommended, in order to identify possible predisposing, precipitating and maintaining factors. Among treatment options, transgender women may benefit of different sex therapy strategies and/or central nervous system-active medications-such as flibanserin, bremelanotide, bupropion and buspirone-and transdermal testosterone, bearing in mind that this option could be poorly accepted by patients due to the risk of virilizing effects. The lack of data regarding the efficacy of HSDD treatment options in transgender women emphasize the need for literature to focus more on this topic in the future.Circadian fluctuation disorder of the intrarenal renin-angiotensin system (RAS) causes that of blood pressure (BP) and renal damage. In renal damage with an impaired glomerular filtration barrier, liver-derived angiotensinogen (AGT) filtered through damaged glomeruli regulates intrarenal RAS activity. Furthermore, glomerular permeability is more strongly affected by glomerular hypertension than by systemic hypertension. Thus, we aimed to clarify whether the circadian rhythm of intrarenal RAS activity is influenced by AGT filtered through damaged glomeruli due to glomerular capillary pressure. Rats with adriamycin nephropathy and an impaired glomerular filtration barrier were compared with control rats. In adriamycin nephropathy rats, olmesartan medoxomil (an angiotensin II type 1 receptor blocker) or hydralazine (a vasodilator) was administered, and the levels of intrarenal RAS components in the active and rest phases were evaluated. Moreover, the diameter ratio of afferent to efferent arterioles (A/E ratio), an indicator of glomerular capillary pressure, and the glomerular sieving coefficient (GSC) based on multiphoton microscopy in vivo imaging, which reflects glomerular permeability, were determined. Mild renal dysfunction was induced, and the systemic BP increased, resulting in increased A/E ratios in the adriamycin nephropathy rats compared with the control rats. Fluctuations in intrarenal RAS activity occurred in parallel with circadian fluctuations in glomerular capillary pressure, which disappeared with olmesartan treatment and were maintained with hydralazine treatment. NGS-MRD provided additional information of the risk of relapse when compared to FCM-MRD. We demonstrate a widely applicable, scalable NGS-MRD approach that is clinically informative and synergistic to FCM-MRD in AML treated with conventional therapies. In this review, we will discuss the rationale for early treatment of patients with nmCRPC to delay metastatic progression and prolong survival, as well as the factors influencing this treatment decision. We will focus on oral pharmacotherapy with the second-generation androgen receptor inhibitors, apalutamide, enzalutamide, and darolutamide, and the importance of balancing the clinical benefit they offer with potential adverse events and the consequential impact on quality of life, physical capacity, and cognitive function.
Some studies report cases of unintended pregnancies among transgender men under masculinizing therapy, therefore T treatment cannot be considered a contraceptive option. Currently available contraceptive options have pros and cons in transmen and scarce literature exists on their use. The effects of GAHT on fertility in transwomen are even less well known. Prolonged estrogen exposure induces sperm suppression and morphological changes of the spermatozoa, however the degree of resulting pregnancy protection is unclear. Further research to inform the contraceptive counseling in this population is mandatory.Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) represents a common condition among transgender women. However, to date no specific guidelines for the management of HSDD in transgender persons are available. The aim of the present narrative Review is to evaluate evidence-based treatment for HSDD and to suggest treatment options for HSDD in transgender women. Clinically relevant publications on the management of HSDD (from 1985 to 2020) were searched in PubMed and Medline databases, using the following terms "sexual desire", "sexual health", "HSDD", "transgender", "gender-affirming treatment", "sexual therapy", "testosterone treatment", "Central nervous system-active medications", and variants. Since sexual desire could be affected by several factors, a comprehensive assessment of HSDD- exploring biological, psychological, and social domains- is recommended, in order to identify possible predisposing, precipitating and maintaining factors. Rats with adriamycin nephropathy and an impaired glomerular filtration barrier were compared with control rats. In adriamycin nephropathy rats, olmesartan medoxomil (an angiotensin II type 1 receptor blocker) or hydralazine (a vasodilator) was administered, and the levels of intrarenal RAS components in the active and rest phases were evaluated. Moreover, the diameter ratio of afferent to efferent arterioles (A/E ratio), an indicator of glomerular capillary pressure, and the glomerular sieving coefficient (GSC) based on multiphoton microscopy in vivo imaging, which reflects glomerular permeability, were determined. Mild renal dysfunction was induced, and the systemic BP increased, resulting in increased A/E ratios in the adriamycin nephropathy rats compared with the control rats. To determine the effectiveness of 2 different continuous quality improvement interventions in an integrated community urology practice. We specifically assessed the impact of audited physician feedback on improving physicians' adoption of active surveillance for low-risk prostate cancer (CaP) and adherence to a prostate biopsy time-out intervention.
The electronic medical records of Genesis Healthcare Partners were analyzed between August 24, 2011 and September 30, 2020 to evaluate the performance of 2 quality interventions audited physician feedback to improve active surveillance adoption in low-risk CaP patients, and audited physician feedback to promote adherence to an electronic medical records embedded prostate biopsy time-out template. Physician and Genesis Healthcare Partners group adherence to each quality initiative was compared before and after each intervention type using ANOVA testing.
For active surveillance, we consistently saw an increase in active surveillance adoption for low risk CaP patients in association with continuous audited feedback (P < .001). Adherence to the prostate biopsy time-out template improved when audited feedback was provided (P < .001).
The implementation of clinical guidelines into routine clinical practice remains challenging and poses an obstacle to the improvement of United States healthcare quality. Continuous quality improvement should be a dynamic process, and in our experience, audited feedback coupled with education is most effective.

We investigate its effect on the clinical, histological, single-cell transcriptomic, and immune repertoire level using repeated fine-needle aspirates (FNAs) of injected and noninjected lesions in primary cutaneous B cell lymphoma (pCBCL). Thirteen patients received intralesional T-VEC, 11 of which demonstrate tumor response in the injected lesions. Using single-cell sequencing of the FNAs, we identify the malignant population and separate three pCBCL subtypes. Twenty-four hours after the injection, we detect HSV-1T-VEC transcripts in malignant and nonmalignant cells of the injected lesion but not of the noninjected lesion. Oncolytic virotherapy results in a rapid eradication of malignant cells. It also leads to interferon pathway activation and early influx of natural killer cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells. These events are followed by enrichment in cytotoxic T cells and a decrease of regulatory T cells in injected and noninjected lesions.The application and integration of molecular profiling technologies create novel opportunities for personalized medicine. Here, we introduce the Tumor Profiler Study, an observational trial combining a prospective diagnostic approach to assess the relevance of in-depth tumor profiling to support clinical decision-making with an exploratory approach to improve the biological understanding of the disease.Despite molecular and clinical heterogeneity, small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is treated as a single entity with predictably poor results. Using tumor expression data and non-negative matrix factorization, we identify four SCLC subtypes defined largely by differential expression of transcription factors ASCL1, NEUROD1, and POU2F3 or low expression of all three transcription factor signatures accompanied by an Inflamed gene signature (SCLC-A, N, P, and I, respectively). SCLC-I experiences the greatest benefit from the addition of immunotherapy to chemotherapy, while the other subtypes each have distinct vulnerabilities, including to inhibitors of PARP, Aurora kinases, or BCL-2. Cisplatin treatment of SCLC-A patient-derived xenografts induces intratumoral shifts toward SCLC-I, supporting subtype switching as a mechanism of acquired platinum resistance. We propose that matching baseline tumor subtype to therapy, as well as manipulating subtype switching on therapy, may enhance depth and duration of response for SCLC patients.
To develop a lung nodule management strategy combining the Lung CT Screening Reporting and Data System (Lung-RADS) with an artificial intelligence (AI) malignancy risk score and determine its impact on follow-up investigations and associated costs in a baseline lung cancer screening population.
Secondary analysis was undertaken of a data set consisting of AI malignancy risk scores and Lung-RADS classifications from six radiologists for 192 baseline low-dose CT studies. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/Compk.html Low-dose CT studies were weighted to model a representative cohort of 3,197 baseline screening patients. An AI risk score threshold was defined to match average sensitivity of six radiologists applying Lung-RADS. Follow-up investigations resulting from Lung-RADS and the AI-informed management strategy were determined. Investigation costs were based on the 2019 US Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.

The aim of this study was to investigate risk factors associated with the timing of urinary tract infection (UTI) after elective spine surgery, and to determine whether postoperative UTI timing affects short-term outcomes.
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common post-surgical complication; however, the predominant timing, location, and potential differential effects have not been carefully studied.
We analyzed elective spine surgery patients from 2012 to 2018 in the ACS National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP). We grouped patients with postoperative UTI by day of onset relative to discharge, to create cohorts of patients who developed inpatient UTI and post-discharge UTI. We compared both UTI cohorts with a control (no UTI) population and with each other to identify differences in baseline characteristics including demographic, comorbidity and operative factors. We performed multivariate logistic regression to identify predictors of .20, P < 0.001). Conversely, inpatient UTI was associated with increased odds of 30-day mortality (aOR = 3.23, 95% CI = 1.62-6.41, P = 0.001), but post-discharge UTI was not.

Deep learning has recently been actively applied to medical images. However, despite many attempts to apply deep learning to medical images, the application has rarely been successful. We aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness and usefulness of deep learning in the medical field. The goal of this study was to demonstrate the clinical usefulness of deep learning by identifying previous spinal implants through application of deep learning.
For deep learning algorithm development, radiographs were retrospectively obtained from clinical cases in which the patients had lumbar spine one-segment instrument surgery. A total of 2894 lumbar spine anteroposterior (AP 1446 cases) and lateral (1448 cases) radiographs were collected. Labeling work was conducted for five different implants. We conducted experiments using three deep learning algorithmof Evidence 3.

Although mechanical factors play an important role in the development of TOLF, limited evidence exists on the association of sagittal spinal alignment and TOLF in the literature.
The present study assessed the preoperative sagittal alignment parameters in consecutive patients who underwent posterior decompression for TOLF in a single institution between January 2014 and December 2019. The sagittal parameters of the patients with TOLF were compared to those of the age- and sex-matched control group with lumbar spondylosis.
The TOLF group (n = 43 [23 men, 20 women]), with a mean age of 69.5 (range 41-86) years, and the control group (n = 86) were compared. Patients were randomized to receive RF denervation combined with bupivacaine (intervention group) or bupivacaine alone (control group). The primary outcome was measured at 6 months and consisted of pain intensity, self-reported treatment effect, improvement on the Neck Disability Index, and the use of pain medication. The stepwise regression analysis revealed less leg strength, homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance, and C-reactive protein as an independent predictor of serum adiponectin levels based on the significance of the univariate analysis (R2 = 0.190, P < 0.001). In PPP, the satellite clock bias (SCB) cannot be eliminated by differential, thus leading to an increase in positioning error. The prediction accuracy of SCB has become one of the key factors restricting positioning accuracy. Although International GNSS Service (IGS) provides the ultra-rapid ephemeris prediction part (IGU-P), its quality and real-time performance can not meet the practical application. In order to improve the accuracy of PPP, this paper proposes to use the Prophet model to predict SCB. Specifically, SCB sequence is read from the observation part in the ultra-rapid ephemeris (IGU-O) released by IGS. Next, the SCB sequence between adjacent epochs are subtracted to obtain the corresponding SCB single difference sequence. Then using the Prophet model to predict SCB single difference sequence. Finally, the prediction result is substituted into the PPP positioning observation equation to obtain the positioning result. This paper uses the final ephemeris (IGF) published by IGS as a benchmark and compares the experimental results with IGU-P. For the selected four satellites, compared with the results of the IGU-P, the accuracy of SCB prediction of the model in this paper is improved by about 50.3%, 61.7%, 60.4%, and 48.8%. In terms of PPP positioning results, we use Real-time kinematic (RTK) measurements as a benchmark in this paper. Positioning accuracy has increased by 26%, 35%, and 19% in the N, E, and U directions, respectively. In this study, we determined the virulence of these 18 VHSV strains in flounder and then the assessed relationships between differences in the amino acid sequences of the 18 VHSV strains and their virulence to flounder. We identified one amino acid substitution in the phosphoprotein (P) (Pro55-to-Leu substitution in the P protein; PP55L) that is specific to highly virulent strains. This PP55L substitution was maintained stably after 30 cell passages. To investigate the effects of the PP55L substitution on VHSV virulence in flounder, we generated a recombinant VHSV carrying PP55L (rVHSV-P) from rVHSV carrying P55 in the P protein (rVHSV-wild). The rVHSV-P produced high level of viral RNA in cells and showed increased growth in cultured cells and virulence in flounder compared to the rVHSV-wild. Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in 2019, it has swept the world with rapid development and is one of the infectious diseases that seriously threatened global public health. Because of the complex pathogenesis, high infectivity, and high fatality rate of COVID-19, there are no effective treatments for this epidemic at present. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a long clinical history in the prevention and treatment of such acute infectious diseases. The therapeutic effect of Lianhua Qingwen (LHQW) on this new coronary pneumonia has attracted the attention of all walks of life, and relevant research reports continue to appear. Here, we intend to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCT) to evaluate the efficacy of LHQW in COVID-19 patients.
We will search each database from the built-in until Dec 2020. The English literature mainly search the Cochrane Library, EMBASE, PubMed, and Web of Science, while the Chinese literature come from CNKI, VIP, Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), and Wan Fang database. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/gsk126.html Simultaneously, we will retrieve clinical registration tests. This retrospective study was designed to explore the recovery of uterine and ovarian function in patients with complete placenta previa (PP) after caesarean delivery (CD). 136 complete placenta previa patients (group completed placenta previa) and 140 patients without complete PP (group non-PP, control group) were included in this study from Jan 2016 to Dec 2018. Subgroup analysis of patients with complete PP was made to determine the impact of different hemostatic methods used during CD on the recovery of uterine function. There were no statistically significant differences between the 2 groups in postpartum menstrual cycle changes, ovarian hormone, and uterine vascular supply as measured by pulsatility index and systolic/diastolic ratio (P > .05). There is a growing need for tissue collection for immunostaining and genetic testing. Recently, several fine-needle biopsy needles are commercially available for endoscopic ultrasound-guided tissue acquisition.This prospective historical controlled study evaluates a 20G core biopsy needle with a forward bevel for solid pancreatic masses larger than 15 mm in diameter. The primary endpoint was the accuracy of histological diagnosis. The secondary endpoints included technical success rate, sample adequacy for histology, cytological diagnostic accuracy, and adverse events.Seventy consecutive patients were enrolled between January and October 2017. We achieved technical success in all cases regardless of the puncture sites or the endosonographer's experience. The final diagnoses were neoplasms in 67 patients (95.7%; pancreatic cancer in 65 patients, neuroendocrine neoplasm in 1, and malignant lymphoma in 1) and benign lesions in 3 patients (4.3%; autoimmune pancreatitis in 2 patients and mass-forming pancreatitisymptomatic needle fracture occurred in 1 case (1.4%).This 20G core biopsy needle with a forward bevel showed a high accuracy of histological diagnosis for solid pancreatic masses.
This study aimed at assessing which one of the 2 therapies is better for treating carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning from the perspective of reducing delayed neuropsychologic sequelae (DNS).We used Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD) to conduct a nationwide population-based cohort study to assess which therapy is better for CO poisoning patients. To accurately identify patients with DNS, the definition of DNS is included neurological sequelae, and cognitive and psychological sequele. The independent variable was therapy and the dependent variable was DNS occurred within 1 year after discharge from a medical institution. The control variables were age, gender, the severity of CO poisoning, and comorbidities present before CO poisoning admission.The risk of developing DNS in patients treated with Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) was 1.87-fold (P < .001) than normobaric oxygen (NBO) therapy. The severity of CO poisoning and comorbidities were also found to have significant influences on the risk of developing DNS.

Recently, several fine-needle biopsy needles are commercially available for endoscopic ultrasound-guided tissue acquisition.This prospective historical controlled study evaluates a 20G core biopsy needle with a forward bevel for solid pancreatic masses larger than 15 mm in diameter. The primary endpoint was the accuracy of histological diagnosis. The secondary endpoints included technical success rate, sample adequacy for histology, cytological diagnostic accuracy, and adverse events.Seventy consecutive patients were enrolled between January and October 2017. We achieved technical success in all cases regardless of the puncture sites or the endosonographer's experience. Reirradiation for rectal cancer (RC) after prior pelvic radiation therapy (RT) has been shown to be safe and effective. However, limited data exist for proton therapy (PT), including pencil beam scanning proton therapy (PBS-PT). We hypothesize that PT is safe and feasible for re-treatment and may allow for decreased toxicity and treatment escalation.
A single-institution, retrospective, institutional review board-approved analysis of all patients with RC and prior pelvic RT receiving PBS-PT reirradiation was performed. Data on patient and treatment characteristics and outcomes were collected. Local progression, progression-free survival, overall survival, and late grade >3 toxicity were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method.
Twenty-eight patients (median follow-up 28.6 months) received PBS-PT reirradiation between 2016 and 2019, including 18 patients with recurrent RC (median prior dose 54.0 Gy) and 10 patients with de novo RC and variable prior RT. Between 2015 and 2019, the number of patients in our department requiring equieffective dose calculation has doubled. We have developed guidelines for estimation of sublethal damage repair as a function of time between treatment courses ranging from 0% for <6 months to 50% for >1 year. These guidelines were developed based on available spinal cord data because we found that 84% of organs at risk involved nerve-like tissues. The average percent repair used increased from 32% to 37% over this time period. When comparing the results obtained using our methods with published values, 99% of patients had a cumulative biologically effective dose below the limits established for acceptable myelopathy rates. Pulsed-low-dose-rate use over this period tripled with an average prescription dose of 49 Gy.
The methods described result in safe, effective treatment in the reirradiation setting. Further correlation with patient outcomes and side effects is warranted.

This study aimed to investigate, in the setting of neoadjuvant gastric irradiation with integrated boost, whether cone beam computed tomography (CBCT)-based adaptive radiation therapy compared with a defined-filling protocol would be beneficial in terms of feasibility and achieving daily reproducible dose volume indexes of the planning target volume (PTV) and organs at risk (OARs) and workflow.
Planning computed tomography (PCT) and 25 CBCT scans of a previously treated patient were used, and neoadjuvant therapy of gastric carcinoma was simulated offline. PTVs and OARs were defined per the TOPGEAR protocol (PTV 45 Gy/1.8 Gy), and an integrated boost (gross tumor volume [GTV] 50.4 Gy/2.016 Gy) was added. The patient followed a filling regimen consisting of 12-hour fasting followed by 200 mL of water intake (2 glasses of water) immediately before irradiation. OARs and PTVs were newly contoured on each CBCT. Nonrigid registration of PCT and CBCT scans was performed. Nonadapted plans were recalculated on eacherapy through deformable registration represents an important tool in neoadjuvant gastric irradiation, encompassing daily variability and organ motion, compared with the defined-filling protocol while improving OAR sparing.

Seven RTTs completed 4 simulated treatment delivery scenarios (2 scenarios per experimental condition; 2 vs 3 collocated displays) in a within-subject experiment. WL was subjectively measured using the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Task Load Index, and objectively measured using eye activity measures. SA was subjectively measured using the SA rating technique, and objectively measured using the SA global assessment technique. Two-tailed paired
tests were conducted to test for differences in means when parametric assumptions were satisfied, otherwise Wilcoxon signed-rank tests were conducted. A .05 level of significance was applied to all statistical tests.
