The advent of BRMs has significantly transformed modern medicine, providing targeted therapies that typically result in fewer side effects compared to conventional treatments like chemotherapy. They are increasingly utilized across various medical specialties, including oncology, rheumatology, dermatology, and infectious disease management. However, the development and use of BRMs come with challenges, such as high production costs, complex manufacturing processes, and the risk of immunogenicity, where the body may develop immune reactions against the biologic agent.
