Bea And Declan's Magical Wedding
Declan and Bea first met seven years back after connecting on the dating site. "We spoke for around a month before finally seeing one another in person, after which I visited visit him at his home," says Bea. "Since then we've rarely spent whenever apart!"
A LAST-MINUTE CHANGE OF PLAN
Declan proposed around the couple's fourth anniversary. "We spent it at our favorite beach, where I later discovered he'd planned to obtain down on one knee and pop the question," says Bea. "However, he'd forgotten the ring! So needed to wait until we've got home. He inquired about that night after we were home."
A LACE-BACK WEDDING DRESS AND A PARTY DRESS...
"I bought two dresses from FeelTimes online stores," says Bea. "It would be a fitted, sleeveless, lace wedding dress. It also had scalloped edges, an extended train, and would be a lace-back wedding gown, therefore it fitted perfectly. I felt beyond beautiful inside it."
"My second dress was top to bottom tulle using the thinnest straps and am floaty that I felt just like a princess. It also had the loveliest lace appliqués on the side. I call the very first dress my 'wow-factor dress' and also the second dress was my 'party dress', as I could dance and eat and extremely enjoy myself."
A DREAM LOCAL VENUE
"We discovered our wedding venue, Holmewood Hall, near Peterborough, after my sister did some googling. By luck, it had been only ten minutes from our house. It was probably the most gorgeous venue. Every single room, bedrooms included, had its very own wow factor, and also the grounds were beyond stunning. No photos do that venue justice also it was a lot more than love in the beginning sight." THE BIG DAY
The couple married on 6th October 2021. "The night before the marriage I stayed inside a cottage in the venue with my bridesmaids, therefore we were there to obtain ready very first thing," says Bea. "The ceremony was at 2 pm and my father walked me down the aisle. This was then photos, drinks, and canapés within the gardens, on which was thankfully an attractive sunny day."
A WONDERFUL WIZARDING THEME
The theme during the day was Harry Potter. "It may be the biggest love during my life, both growing up and as an adult," says Bea. "We had Ferrero Rocher as golden snitches and I composed individual drink bottles for favors and set different HP potions stickers on each one of these."
"We all sat at different Harry Potter-themed tables for lunch and we had sparklers when asleep to look like wands. Our cake was quite simple but pretty, that also suited the design of the day."
LET'S PARTY!
"At 4 pm I turned into my evening dress and that we had dinner then speeches," says Bea. "As a surprise for that guests, I hired a singing waiter. Just before dessert, he arrived on the scene and did a 45-minute set, which got everyone singing and dancing. It was by far probably the most talked-about moment from the day also it was probably the most fun to possess!"
A SPARKLING END TO THE EVENING
"After dinner, all of us went outside into the gardens and took some shots with sparklers to appear like wands for my Harry Potter theme. After that, we cut our cake coupled with our first dance with the guests surrounding us on the grand staircase."
"I also hired a photograph booth, that was loads of fun using its props and wind machine. Afterward, our DJ got the evening disco started. Then it had been drinking, dancing, and enjoying our evening buffet of fish, chips, and mushy peas until the end of the nighttime."
MY TOP TIPS…
"For me, you will find three key things. One, plan and keep it simple so you have little to complete near some time and can just appreciate it. Two, choose your wedding party wisely. They help you stay sane and take your stress levels away if you have picked the best ones."
"Three, invest in your memories, for example, your photographer and/or videographer. The day passes in such a blur that you will forget 1 / 2 of it. Then, when you are getting the final product, it is the best feeling ever. I got so lucky with my photographer and I just know my video clip will be just like fantastic when it is ready."
