This is an idyllic escape, along with a beautiful celebration supported on the way by a couple of our wonderful members where our Bride found her glorious floral lace dress.

Elena and Mark were guided through the principles of equality and feminism when planning their day, and in front of the ceremony they enjoyed an initial look, that was captured in most its lovely glory by their photographer. They were married around the 13 July 2019 (following a legal ceremony around the 11th) at – a household run events and glamping venue occur 80 acres of woodland (the beautifully named Squirrel Wood, no less) in Kent.

"Mark's suit was deep blue trousers along with a white shirt, burgundy boots, an environmentally friendly velvet jacket, and waistcoat as well as an emerald green tie. He had an environmentally friendly pocket square. He wore G and W cufflinks – the initials in our newly combined name."

"Mark and I met at the office. Mark proposed to me around the morning of my birthday parties with a gorgeous ring from my fave jewelry shop. I had also got Mark a diamond ring that I could give to him straight after mine!"

"We have been together for three years before we got engaged, planned the marriage in one year, and also have now been together for four years as a whole – we recently celebrated our 12 months wedding anniversary."

Elena's knockout dress was the 'Jasmine' by and constructed from delicate yet striking jasmine flower motif lace having a super sexy silhouette.

"I desired to feel confident and sexy, and never hide that fact that I'm curvy or have boobs! I desired to feel comfortable and relaxed during my dress."

"I and my bridesmaids wore matching bracelets, and I wore a layered necklace that my hen ladies provided the night before. made our faces look pretty, and Summer styled our hair."

The bridesmaids looked wonderful wearing sparkly satin bridesmaid dresses from inside a shade of lush forest green to enhance the woodland setting, along with bracelets, gifted to them by Elena.

In the entire year leading up to the wedding, Elena's Mum painstakingly dried flowers from her garden to make use of in her daughter's bouquet, hair, and all sorts of around the venue.

Elena's entrance music was All of Me by John Legend, and she walked down the aisle along with her Dad, where Mark was waiting using their celebrant Katie Keen from.

One of the couple's favorite facets of their day was the part from the ceremony where everyone sang Stand By Me by Ben E. King.

As evening fell within the wood, live music began an evening of merriment, thanks to the band, and also the newly married couple took towards the dancefloor for a spin to Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Do what you would like, not the other people want! It's your entire day, concentrate on what you like a couple want, and don't attempt to just make everybody else happy."
