Before you can use your Capital One card, you must first activate it. To help you get going, consider this brief guide:
1.Activation Online:
- Go to the Capitalone.com/activate website.
- If you haven't already, create a new account or log in to your current one.
- To finish the activation, enter your card information as directed.
2.Activating a mobile app:
- On your phone, launch the Capitalone.com/activate mobile Web browser.
- Register for an account or log in.
- To activate your card, choose the appropriate option and adhere to the prompts.
3.Activating a Phone:
- Make a call at the number (usually on the sticker) that comes with your card.
- To activate your card, either follow the automated prompts or contact a representative.
Note: You will not be able to use your card for transactions until it is activated. In order to begin using the advantages of your new Capitalone.com/activate, make sure you finish the activation process.
