This study concludes that the vital role of Information Technology and digitization supports the economies in their fight against the pandemic and helps them sustain themselves amid crises. The mental health condition was assessed by the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS)-21. Further, burnout was assessed by the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Medical residents with a total MBI score between 50 and 75 were selected to receive online psychological intervention for 3 months. Results Two-hundred and ten medical residents completed the questionnaire, of whom, 63 residents with an MBI score between 50 and 75 received the 3-month onldical residents.We investigated whether adults have attentional bias toward infant faces, whether it is moderated by infant facial expression, and the predictive effect of the adult attachment state on it. One hundred unmarried nulliparous college students [50 men and 50 women; aged 17-24 years (M = 19.70, SD = 1.35)] were recruited. Each completed a self-report questionnaire-the Chinese version of the State Adult Attachment Measure (SAAM), and a dot-probe task with a stimulus presentation duration of 500 ms, which used 192 black-and-white photographs of 64 people (32 infants and 32 adults; each person displayed three expressions happy, neutral, and sad) as the experimental stimuli. Hence, we test and compare performance of three different FER systems (Azure Face API, Microsoft; Face++, Megvii Technology; FaceReader, Noldus Information Technology) with human emotion recognition (A) for standardized posed facial expressions (from prototypical inventories) and (B) for non-standardized acted facial expressions (extracted from emotional movie scenes). For the standardized images, all three systems classify basic emotions accurately (FaceReader is most accurate) and they are mostly on par with human raters.

    Health system reforms in many countries have shown that the delivery of integrated primary health care services according to family medicine is the most efficient approach to achieve universal health coverage. In Tunisia, the issue is therefore the capacity of our health system to integrate a care approach based on family practice.

    To assess the preparedness to implement family medicine in our country Methodology this is a qualitative study carried out over a period of 9 months during the year 2017.Based on a WHO protocol addressing the 13 pillars of family practice, our study explores health policy context, actors (using interviews with key informants at national, regional and local level) and health content.

However, this political recognition suffers from a lack of operationalization, in relation with continuing medical training, registration of patients and families by doctors, referral system, minimum package of essential care/ essential drugs and quality of care monitoring as well as community involvement..

    The Basic Health Care Policy (BHC), the Maghrebian version of WHO's Primary Health Care, is celebrating forty years in Tunisia. The aim of this paper was to contribute to the evaluation of **** in Tunisia, by listening to the testimonies of experts / leaders who have led their journey during these four decades.

    The experts / leaders included in this testimony were invited via email and throu gh the use of the Delphi technique to report the acquired lessons and the errors. The collected qualitative data was analyzed through a process of categorization which classified them into assets (strengths and opportunities) and handicaps (weaknesses and threats).

    Four experts / leaders took part in this call for testimonies, including two consultants to international organizations, a trade union doctor and a professor of Preventive Medicine. The main assets of the ****in Tunisia, according to the participants, were 1. The medical leadership initiated from the student phase; 2. The political commitment of public auunisia highlighted the perception of its performance "in tune" with WHO and "three years before Alma Ata". The new generation of ****leaders have an obligation to safeguard their principles and adapt their practices to population expectations and new managerial approaches.
    Describe the training needs of young Maghreb doctors in epidemic management.

    This is a study to quantify the need for medical training on "epidemic management". The study population was formed by residents and assistant professors of the French-speaking faculties of medicine in the Greater Maghreb, hospital-university professors, who were invited to respond to an online questionnaire. The "need" for learning a skill was defined by the perception of its importance, of its low coverage by the curricula and its poor mastery. A grid with 20 items, coded according to the Likert scale of 1 to 5 points, was specially developed for the measurement of need, retained beyond the thresholds of 45/90 points for the two dimensions "confirmation" and "investigation", 60/120 points for the "control" dimension, and 150/300 for the total sum.

    A total of 121 young Maghreb doctors answered the questionnaire to assess the needs for learning epidemic management skills. The median overall scores for the chapters "importance", "coverage" and "performance" were 76, 40 and 48 respectively out of 100 points. The median scores for training "needs" were 54/90, 48/90 and 67/120 points, respectively, for the dimensions "confirmation", "investment" and "control", giving a global median score of 168 / 300.

This kind of care was very efficient in communicable diseases, malnutrition and maternal and neonatal diseases; however, their impact on non communicable diseases and mental disorders control is not obvious. In Tunisia, primary health care was introduced in the early 1980s; a lot of progress were notified in particular in health of mothers and children in particular, but only slightly in non communicable diseases control and mental health promotion. Therefore, a new approach would be strongly recommended to remedy this situation. The Medical Periodic Check-up (MPC) implemented in North America would have a positive impact in the prevention and management of non communicable diseases. What would be the place of this ****in primary health care in Tunisia? The ****has two main objectives the prevention of specific diseases and health promotion. However, despite its efficiency and usefulness, the ****could be costly, especially for countries with limited resources.

Considering the presence of modifiable risk factors, preventive measures regarding life style are essential.Antiresorptive therapy is the main form of prevention of osteoporotic or fragility fractures. Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) is a relatively rare but severe adverse reaction to antiresorptive and antiangiogenic drugs. Physicians and dentists caring for patients taking these drugs and requiring invasive procedures face a difficult decision because of the potential risk of MRONJ. The aim of this study was to discuss the risk factors for the development of MRONJ and prevention of this complication in patients with osteoporosis taking antiresorptive drugs and requiring invasive dental treatment. For this goal, a task force with representatives from three professional associations was appointed to review the pertinent literature and discuss systemic and local risk factors, prevention of MRONJ in patients with osteoporosis, and management of established MRONJ. Although scarce evidence links the use of antiresorptive agents in the context of osteoporosis to the development of MRONJ, these agents are considered a risk factor for this complication. Despite the rare reports of MRONJ in patients with osteoporosis, the severity of symptoms and impact of MRONJ in the patients' quality of life make it imperative for health care professionals to consider this complication when planning invasive dental procedures.Objective During the perinatal period, women are at an increased risk for the onset/exacerbation of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and may experience perinatal-specific obsessions and/or compulsions. Past research has provided preliminary findings regarding the prevalence of OCD in the perinatal period but has often reported limited metrics and ignored perinatal specific symptoms. Despite the fact that 10%-15% of new mothers experience postpartum psychiatric episodes (PPEs), no previous studies have investigated the effects of PPEs on the probability of divorce in these new families. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate and quantify the probability of subsequent divorce/separation among women with either mild/moderate or severe PPE compared to mothers without PPE.Methods This cohort study based on the national Danish registers included all cohabitating, primiparous women without previous psychiatric history who gave birth from 1996 through 2014. At 6 months postpartum, each woman's PPE status was evaluated and categorized as follows (1) mild/moderate PPE (prescription of psychotropic medication-Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification codes N03-N07), (2) severe PPE (psychiatric inpatient or outpatient treatment-International Classification of Disease, 10th Edition codes F00-F99, excluding codes for organic mental disorders, substance abuse, and mental retardation), and (3) no PPE (reference group). Subsequently, the status of cohabitation was assessed a maximum of 5 times (every January 1).Results A total of 266,771 new mothers were included; 4,442 had a first mild/moderate PPE and 1,141 had a first severe PPE within 6 months postpartum. Compared to mothers without PPE, women with mild/moderate PPE had a significantly higher probability of later divorce (adjusted hazard ratio [HR] = 1.23; 95% CI, 1.15-1.31); for women with severe PPE, the probability was even greater (adjusted HR = 1.64; 95% CI, 1.45-1.85).Conclusions Women experiencing their first-ever PPE following childbirth have a higher probability of divorce in the years following their diagnosis than mothers without PPE. Considering the presence of modifiable risk factors, preventive measures regarding life style are essential.Antiresorptive therapy is the main form of prevention of osteoporotic or fragility fractures. Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) is a relatively rare but severe adverse reaction to antiresorptive and antiangiogenic drugs. Physicians and dentists caring for patients taking these drugs and requiring invasive procedures face a difficult decision because of the potential risk of MRONJ. The aim of this study was to discuss the risk factors for the development of MRONJ and prevention of this complication in patients with osteoporosis taking antiresorptive drugs and requiring invasive dental treatment. For this goal, a task force with representatives from three professional associations was appointed to review the pertinent literature and discuss systemic and local risk factors, prevention of MRONJ in patients with osteoporosis, and management of established MRONJ. Although scarce evidence links the use of antiresorptive agents in the context of osteoporosis to the development of MRONJ, these agents are considered a risk factor for this complication. Despite the rare reports of MRONJ in patients with osteoporosis, the severity of symptoms and impact of MRONJ in the patients' quality of life make it imperative for health care professionals to consider this complication when planning invasive dental procedures.Objective During the perinatal period, women are at an increased risk for the onset/exacerbation of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and may experience perinatal-specific obsessions and/or compulsions. Past research has provided preliminary findings regarding the prevalence of OCD in the perinatal period but has often reported limited metrics and ignored perinatal specific symptoms. This research aimed to assess the prevalence and incidence of maternal OCD between the third trimester in pregnancy and 6 months postpartum.Methods An unselected sample of 763 English-speaking pregnant women and new mothers participated in a longitudinal, province-wide study between their third trimester in pregnancy and 9 months postpartum. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/bufalin.html They completed 3 online questionnaires and interviews (data collected between February 9, 2014, and February 14, 2017) and were administered a diagnostic interview to determine OCD status based on DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.Results A weighted prenatal period prevalence of 7.8% and a postpartum period prevalence of 16.9% were found. The average, prenatal, point prevalence estimate was 2.9%, and the average, postpartum, point prevalence estimate was 7.0%. The cumulative incidence of new OCD diagnoses was estimated at 9% by 6 months postpartum.Conclusions Our study suggests that when women are encouraged to report their perinatal-specific symptoms, and current diagnostic criteria are applied, estimates for perinatal OCD may be higher than previously believed.Objective Psychiatric disorders are an established risk factor for divorce or separation. Despite the fact that 10%-15% of new mothers experience postpartum psychiatric episodes (PPEs), no previous studies have investigated the effects of PPEs on the probability of divorce in these new families. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate and quantify the probability of subsequent divorce/separation among women with either mild/moderate or severe PPE compared to mothers without PPE.Methods This cohort study based on the national Danish registers included all cohabitating, primiparous women without previous psychiatric history who gave birth from 1996 through 2014. At 6 months postpartum, each woman's PPE status was evaluated and categorized as follows (1) mild/moderate PPE (prescription of psychotropic medication-Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification codes N03-N07), (2) severe PPE (psychiatric inpatient or outpatient treatment-International Classification of Disease, 10th Edition codes F00-F99, excluding codes for organic mental disorders, substance abuse, and mental retardation), and (3) no PPE (reference group). Subsequently, the status of cohabitation was assessed a maximum of 5 times (every January 1).Results A total of 266,771 new mothers were included; 4,442 had a first mild/moderate PPE and 1,141 had a first severe PPE within 6 months postpartum. Compared to mothers without PPE, women with mild/moderate PPE had a significantly higher probability of later divorce (adjusted hazard ratio [HR] = 1.23; 95% CI, 1.15-1.31); for women with severe PPE, the probability was even greater (adjusted HR = 1.64; 95% CI, 1.45-1.85).Conclusions Women experiencing their first-ever PPE following childbirth have a higher probability of divorce in the years following their diagnosis than mothers without PPE.   • Previous studies revealed the impact growing location has on the quantity and quality of essential oils derived from numerous Citrus spp., except on the kaffir lime. This study aims to analyze the relationship shared by agroclimatic variables and soil-plant nutrient status to kaffir lime leaves essential oil yield and main composition. The experiment was conducted between February and April 2019 in four growing locations, namely Bogor (6°36'36″ S, 106°46'47″ E), West Bandung (6°48'12″ S, 107°39'16″ E), Pasuruan (7°45'5″ S, 112°40'6″ E) and Tulungagung (8°6'27″ S, 112°0'35″ E). The highest essential oil yield was obtained from Bogor (1.5%), while the lowest one was from Tulungagung (0.78%). The yield was positively and significantly correlated with the rainfall, soil organic carbon, soil pH, and macronutrient levels, i.e., nitrogen, phosphorus, and magnesium. Citronellal, the major component in metabolites' profile of kaffir lime leaves essential oils, was significantly affected by the growing location. The absolute content of citronellal was positively and significantly correlated with the actual soil pH and leaf Ca content; furthermore, it negatively correlated with the leaf content of Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu. Pearson correlation analysis also showed (i) a negative significant correlation between the relative percentage of citronellol and annual rainfall intensity; (ii) a negative significant correlation between altitude and relative percentage of caryophyllene, and (iii) a positive significant correlation between the relative percentage of linalool and leaf K content.Active targeted delivery of small molecule drugs is becoming increasingly important in personalized therapies, especially in cancer, brain disorders, and a wide variety of other diseases. However, effective means of spatial targeting and delivering high drug payloads in vivo are still lacking. Focused ultrasound combined with superheated phase-shift nanodroplets, which vaporize into microbubbles using heat and sound, are rapidly becoming a popular strategy for targeted drug delivery. Focused ultrasound can target deep tissue with excellent spatial precision and without using ionizing energy, thus can activate nanodroplets in circulation. One of the main limitations of this technology has been poor drug loading in the droplet core or the shell material. To address this need, we have developed a strategy to combine low-boiling point decafluorabutane and octafluoropropane (DFB and OFP) nanodroplets with drug-loaded liposomes, creating phase-changeable droplet-liposome clusters (PDLCs). We demonstrate a facile method of assembling submicron PDLCs with high drug-loading capacity on the droplet surface. Furthermore, we demonstrate that chemical tethering of liposomes in PDLCs enables a rapid release of their encapsulated cargo upon acoustic activation (>60% using OFP-based PDLCs). Rapid uncaging of small molecule drugs would make them immediately bioavailable in target tissue or promote better penetration in local tissue following intravascular release. PDLCs developed in this study can be used to deliver a wide variety of liposome-encapsulated therapeutics or imaging agents for multi-modal imaging applications. We also outline a strategy to deliver a surrogate encapsulated drug, fluorescein, to tumors in vivo using focused ultrasound energy and PDLCs.Shape quality is very important in flatfish aquaculture due to the impact on commercialization. The Senegalese sole (Solea senegalensis) is a valuable flatfish with a highly elliptic body that slightly changes with age and size, and it is prone to accumulating malformations during the production cycle. The present study aims to investigate the genetic parameters of two growth traits (weight and standard length) and six shape quality predictors (ellipticity, three body heights (body height at the pectoral fin base [BHP], body maximum height [BMH] and caudal peduncle height [CPH]) and two ratios (BMH/BHP and BMH/CPH)). These traits were measured before the on-growing stage (age ~400 days (d)) and at harvest (~800 d). Phenotypic data, heritabilities and genetic and phenotypic correlations between the traits are presented and discussed. High or very high heritabilities (0.433-0.774) were found for growth traits, body heights and ellipticity and they were higher at 400 than 800 d. In contrast, the ratios of BMH/BHP and BMH/CPH were less heritable (0.144-0.306). Positive and very high (>0.95) correlations between growth traits and the three heights were found and decreased with age. In contrast, ellipticity had negative and medium-high genetic correlations with growth traits and heights, indicating fish selected for bigger size would also become rounder. The ratio of BMH/CPH showed low genetic correlations with all traits and provided complementary information to ellipticity for a better fitting to the expected lanceolate body morphology of sole.   • gMATS was indicative of high 4CMenB coverage (72.2-79.1%) of Turkish invasive MenB strains from pediatric patients. Strain coverage of several clonal complexes differed from that seen elsewhere in Europe highlighting the importance of performing local assessments and also the use of phenotypic methods, i.e. MATS, where possible. All of the isolates possessed in-frame fhbp alleles and so were potentially covered by MenB-fHbp. Continued surveillance is essential to guide recommendations for current and future vaccines as well as understanding changes in epidemiology. AIMS The issue of exposure of eye lenses of employees exposed to ionizing radiation is an interesting topic not only from the point of view of deterministic effects related to the occurrence of cataracts, but also dosimetric aspects, in particular the calibration of detectors in units enabling the assessment of eye lens exposure or personal dose equivalent Hp(3). The paper presents the idea of calibrating thermoluminescent detectors designed for the Hp(3) values measurement of gamma radiation, which the source is the process of annihilation of positrons emitted by the deoxyglucose marker - 18F radionuclide. METHODS The method was based on the value of air kerma Ka to Hp(3) conversion coefficients (Hp(3,0°)/Ka) developed as part of the ORAMED project. High-sensitivity thermoluminescent detectors (MCP-N) produced in Poland were used in the measurements. During the exposure of the detectors, a 137Cs gamma radiation source (irradiator 137Cs/60Co) and a 20cm diameter cylinder filled with water were used. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS The value of conversion coefficient Hp(3,0°)/Ka for energy 511 keV is 1.31Sv/Gy and the calibration factor is (3.46±0.03)·10-4 mSv/N (N - number of counts). Verification of the value of the obtained coefficient carried out using a cylinder with a diameter of 20cm showed a difference of less than 2% in relation to the value obtained by the method described in this paper. RATIONALE While various nutritional assessment tools have been proposed, consensus is lacking with respect to the most effective tool to identify severe malnutrition in critically ill patients. METHODS We conducted a retrospective study in an adult general intensive care unit (ICU) comparing four nutritional assessment tools Nutrition Risk Screening (NRS), Nutrition Risk in Critically Ill (NUTRIC), and malnutrition criteria proposed by European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) and American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). These criteria were tested for their sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) in diagnosis of severe malnutrition, defined as Subjective Global Assessment (SGA) C. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/az-3146.html RESULTS Hospitalization records for 120 critically ill patients were analyzed. 60 (50%), 17 (14.2%) and 43 (35.8%) patients were classified as SGA A, B, and C, respectively. The sensitivity in diagnosis of severe malnutrition was 79.1%, 58.1%, 65.1%, and 65.1%, and specificity was 94.8%, 74.0%, 94.8%, and 98.7% for NRS, NUTRIC, ESPEN, and ASPEN, respectively. NRS, ESPEN, and ASPEN had higher PPV (89.5%, 87.5%, and 87.5%, respectively) and NPV (89%, 83%, and 83.5%, respectively) than NUTRIC (PPV 55.6% and NPV 76%). NUTRIC showed the highest correlation with mortality, but none of the tools retained their correlation with mortality after adjustment for potential confounding factors. CONCLUSIONS NRS showed the highest sensitivity and high specificity, PPV, and NPV. NUTRIC had least effective overall performance in diagnosis of severe malnutrition in an ICU setting. A larger population may be required to explore the association between mortality and these nutritional assessment tools. BACKGROUND & AIMS Atherosclerosis is characterized by an inflammatory disease linked to excessive lipid accumulation in the artery wall. The Notch signalling pathway has been shown to play a key regulatory role in the regulation of inflammation. Recently, in vitro and pre-clinical studies have shown that apolipoprotein A-I binding protein (AIBP) regulates cholesterol metabolism (SREBP) and NOTCH signalling (haematopoiesis) and may be protective against atherosclerosis, but the evidence in humans is scarce. METHODS We evaluated the APOA1bp-SREBF-NOTCH axis in association with atherosclerosis in two well-characterized cohorts of morbidly obese patients (n = 78) within the FLORINASH study, including liver transcriptomics, 1H NMR plasma metabolomics, high-resolution ultrasonography evaluating carotid intima-media thickness (cIMT), and haematological parameters. RESULTS The liver expression levels of APOA1bp were associated with lower cIMT and leukocyte counts, a better plasma lipid profile and higher circulating levels of metabolites associated with lower risk of atherosclerosis (glycine, histidine and asparagine). Conversely, liver SREBF and NOTCH mRNAs were positively associated with atherosclerosis, liver steatosis, an unfavourable lipid profile, higher leukocytes and increased levels of metabolites linked to inflammation and CVD such as branched-chain amino acids and glycoproteins. APOA1bp and NOTCH signalling also had a strong association, as revealed by the negative correlations among APOA1bp expression levels and those of all NOTCH receptors and jagged ligands. CONCLUSIONS We here provide the first evidence in human liver of the putative APOA1bp-SREBF-NOTCH axis signalling pathway and its association with atherosclerosis and inflammation. BACKGROUND & AIM Intermittent fasting (IF) is a dietary intervention that has been investigated as an alternative weight-loss diet due to conventional approaches having poor long-term adherence. However, the macronutrient and micronutrient intake and composition of IF diets have been overlooked. The primary aim of this study was to describe the macronutrient and micronutrient intake of individuals following the 52 intermittent fasting diet (IF 52). METHODS Thirty eight overweight and obese participants were included from two previous studies of IF 52. The participants selected included 27 males and 11 females, with and without Type 2 Diabetes. The dietary intervention, IF 52, consisted of two days per week fasting, either consecutive or non-consecutive, and five days per week of habitual intake. Prospectively completed 4-day estimated food records were used to assess macronutrient and micronutrient intake at baseline and week six. The 4-day records were weighted to give a mean daily intake during IF 52. RESULTS During IF 52 the median (25th, 75th quartile) daily macronutrient composition was 22 (19, 24)% from protein, 33 (29, 37)% from fat and 39 (36, 43)% from carbohydrates.

NRS, ESPEN, and ASPEN had higher PPV (89.5%, 87.5%, and 87.5%, respectively) and NPV (89%, 83%, and 83.5%, respectively) than NUTRIC (PPV 55.6% and NPV 76%). NUTRIC showed the highest correlation with mortality, but none of the tools retained their correlation with mortality after adjustment for potential confounding factors. CONCLUSIONS NRS showed the highest sensitivity and high specificity, PPV, and NPV. NUTRIC had least effective overall performance in diagnosis of severe malnutrition in an ICU setting. A larger population may be required to explore the association between mortality and these nutritional assessment tools. BACKGROUND & AIMS Atherosclerosis is characterized by an inflammatory disease linked to excessive lipid accumulation in the artery wall. The Notch signalling pathway has been shown to play a key regulatory role in the regulation of inflammation. Recently, in vitro and pre-clinical studies have shown that apolipoprotein A-I binding protein (AIBP) regulates cholesterol metabolism (SREBP) and NOTCH signalling (haematopoiesis) and may be protective against atherosclerosis, but the evidence in humans is scarce. METHODS We evaluated the APOA1bp-SREBF-NOTCH axis in association with atherosclerosis in two well-characterized cohorts of morbidly obese patients (n = 78) within the FLORINASH study, including liver transcriptomics, 1H NMR plasma metabolomics, high-resolution ultrasonography evaluating carotid intima-media thickness (cIMT), and haematological parameters. RESULTS The liver expression levels of APOA1bp were associated with lower cIMT and leukocyte counts, a better plasma lipid profile and higher circulating levels of metabolites associated with lower risk of atherosclerosis (glycine, histidine and asparagine). Conversely, liver SREBF and NOTCH mRNAs were positively associated with atherosclerosis, liver steatosis, an unfavourable lipid profile, higher leukocytes and increased levels of metabolites linked to inflammation and CVD such as branched-chain amino acids and glycoproteins. APOA1bp and NOTCH signalling also had a strong association, as revealed by the negative correlations among APOA1bp expression levels and those of all NOTCH receptors and jagged ligands. CONCLUSIONS We here provide the first evidence in human liver of the putative APOA1bp-SREBF-NOTCH axis signalling pathway and its association with atherosclerosis and inflammation. BACKGROUND & AIM Intermittent fasting (IF) is a dietary intervention that has been investigated as an alternative weight-loss diet due to conventional approaches having poor long-term adherence. However, the macronutrient and micronutrient intake and composition of IF diets have been overlooked. The primary aim of this study was to describe the macronutrient and micronutrient intake of individuals following the 52 intermittent fasting diet (IF 52). METHODS Thirty eight overweight and obese participants were included from two previous studies of IF 52. The participants selected included 27 males and 11 females, with and without Type 2 Diabetes. The dietary intervention, IF 52, consisted of two days per week fasting, either consecutive or non-consecutive, and five days per week of habitual intake. Prospectively completed 4-day estimated food records were used to assess macronutrient and micronutrient intake at baseline and week six. The 4-day records were weighted to give a mean daily intake during IF 52. RESULTS During IF 52 the median (25th, 75th quartile) daily macronutrient composition was 22 (19, 24)% from protein, 33 (29, 37)% from fat and 39 (36, 43)% from carbohydrates.

    bioreactor (IVB) for bone tissue engineering in order to provide reference for its future research direction.

    The literature related to IVB used in bone tissue engineering in recent years was reviewed, and the principles of IVB construction, tissue types, sites, and methods of IVB construction, as well as the advantages of IVB used in bone tissue engineering were summarized.

    IVB takes advantage of the body's ability to regenerate itself, using the body as a bioreactor to regenerate new tissues or organs at injured sites or at ectopic sites that can support the regeneration of new tissues. IVB can be constructed by tissue flap (subcutaneous pocket, muscle flap/pocket, fascia flap, periosteum flap, omentum flap/abdominal cavity) and axial vascular pedicle (axial vascular bundle, arteriovenous loop) alone or jointly. IVB is used to prefabricate vascularized tissue engineered bone that matched the shape and size of the defect. The prefabricated vascularized tissue engineered bone can be used as bone graft, pedicled bone flap, or free bone flap to repair bone defect. IVB solves the problem of insufficient vascularization in traditional bone tissue engineering to a certain extent.

Then the S1-S9 and inactivated DBMs were co-cultured with mouse embryonic osteoblasts MC3T3-E1, respectively. The cell proliferation was detected by MTT method and fluorescence staining, and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was detected at the same time. It was also found that anxiety was significantly predicted by self-enhancement (-0.21, p less then 0.01) and self-criticism (0.44, p less then 0.01). Moreover, the mediation model supports the mediation of self-enhancement and self-criticism between physical activity and anxiety in university students. The paper presents the manufacturing process, experimental and numerical analyses of the mechanical behavior for two composite hoods with different design concepts and material layouts as body components of a small electric vehicle. The first model follows the black metal design and the second one is based on the composite design concept. Manufacturing steps and full details regarding the fabrication process are delivered in the paper. Static stiffness and strain values for lateral, longitudinal and torsional loading cases were investigated. The first composite hood is 254 times lighter than a similar steel hood and the second hood concept is 22% lighter than the first one. The improvement in terms of lateral stiffness for composite hoods about a similar steel hood is for the black metal design concept about 80% and 157% for the hood with a sandwich structure and modified backside frame. Transversal stiffness is few times higher for both composite hoods while the torsional stiffness has an increase of 62% compared to a similar steel hood.Diagnostic imaging plays an essential role in the diagnosis and management of reproductive neoplasia in dogs and cats. The sophistication of imaging modalities is increasing exponentially. Each modality has advantages and disadvantages in terms of cost, availability, sensitivity, specificity, and qualities of anatomic versus functional imaging.Sonochemistry uses ultrasound to improve or modify chemical reactions. Sonochemistry occurs when the ultrasound causes chemical effects on the reaction system, such as the formation of free radicals, that intensify the reaction. Many studies have investigated the synthesis of nanomaterials by the sonochemical method, but there is still very limited information on the detailed characterization of these physicochemical and morphological nanoparticles. In this comprehensive review, recent advances in the sonochemical synthesis of nanomaterials based on iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4NP), gold nanoparticles (AuNP) and iron oxide-coated gold nanoparticles (Fe3O4@Au NP) are discussed. These materials are the most studied materials for various applications, such as medical and commercial uses. This review will (1) address the simple processing and observations on the principles of sonochemistry as a starting point for understanding the fundamental mechanisms, (2) summarize and review the most relevant publications and (3) describe the typical shape of the products provided in sonochemistry. Despite the favorable outcomes of fecundity rates among male patients with cancer using cryopreserved sperm, the detrimental impact of freezing on cells has been noted in many studies. Cryopreservation has been thought to have adverse effects on sperm quality through disruptions in the expressions of SPAG genes. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of cryopreservation on the expressions of SPAGs genes and their transcriptome alterations in human sperm. Materials and Methods A total of 12 normal ejaculations were prepared using the density gradient centrifugation procedure, and the motile sperm fractions were divided into fresh and frozen groups. In the latter, sperm samples were mixed with SpermFreeze® solution as the cryoprotectant. The cryovial of sperm suspension was first held just over nitrogen vapor and then dipped inside liquid nitrogen. After 3 days, the specimens were thawed in tap water and incubated for 2 hours for recovery. Then, RNA from sperm was extracted for SPAG gene expression analysis, using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results Our findings showed a decrease in expression of SPAG5 (p-value = 0.009), SPAG7 (p-value = 0.004), and SPAG12 (SNU13/NHP2L1; p-value = 0.039) genes during cryopreservation. Discussion The results indicate that the freezing procedure could negatively affect gene expression and to some extent proteins in human spermatozoa. Materials and Methods Cross-sectional cluster analyses of the MOVI-daFit! baseline data were conducted in 507 children aged 9 to 11 years in Cuenca, Spain. BMI, body fat percentage, VO2 max estimate, and HRQoL (measured by the KIDSCREEN questionnaire) were assessed. Results The cluster analysis of BMI/body fat percentage and VO2 max estimate z-scores resulted in a four-cluster solution that fit the four categories included in the fat but fit paradigm fat unfit (FU), unfat unfit (UU), fat but fit (FF), and unfat fit (UF). Function analysis and microRNA (miRNA) prediction for DEMs were performed. The correlations between long noncoding RNA (lncRNA)/circular RNA (circRNA) and messenger RNA (mRNA) were analyzed. In addition, the targeting lncRNA and circRNA of miRNA were predicted. Finally, competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network was constructed, and survival analysis for the mRNAs involved in the network was performed. Results In total, 323 DEMs, 284 DELs, and 224 DECs were identified between EGFR mutation and nonmutation groups. The DEMs were significantly involved in gene ontology functions related to cilium morphogenesis and assembly. ceRNA networks were constructed based on the DEMs, DELs, DECs, and predicted miRNAs. Survival analysis showed that four genes in the ceRNA network, including ABCA3, ATL2, VAMP1, and APLN, were significantly associated with prognosis.
