To compare lens cleaning routines using a povidone iodine-based rigid lens disinfecting solution and its effect on conjunctival colonisation, and lens and lens case contamination.
Participants, aged 6-10 years, receiving orthokeratology treatment were randomised to four lens cleaning routines with and without the use of daily and/or weekly cleaners, which were performed by their parents. Conjunctival colonisation was compared before lens wear and at 1-, 3-, and 6-month after commencement of lens wear. Contamination of lenses and lens cases was investigated at these times. Organisms were identified using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.
Of the 76 participants who completed the study, conjunctival colonization was present in 24 (32 %) at baseline. Of the remaining 52 participants, 34 consistently yielded no growth. Participants positive at baseline were statistically more likely to be colonized after commencement of lens wear (p = 0.020). Overall, colonization rate was reduced to 15 % (11/72) after 6-month lenses, and lens cases in the great majority of samples indicates that it can improve the safety of overnight lens wear.

The data of patients with spinal meningiomas diagnosed between 2004 and 2016 were extracted from the SEER database. Descriptive analyses were conducted to evaluate the distribution and tumor-related characteristics of patients with spinal meningiomas. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to predict which patients were inclined to be diagnosed with borderline or malignant spinal meningiomas. Possible prognostic indicators were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier curves and the Cox proportional hazards model.
The age-adjusted incidence rate was 0.37 cases per 1,000,000 person-years between 2004 and 2016. Spinal meningiomas represented 4.25% of all meningiomas. A total of 4204 patients with spinal meningiomas were included in our study. Most of the patients were white and diagnosed at 60-69 years of age, and the femalemale ratio was 41. Most of the tumors were benign and less than 3cm in size. The most common pathological type was psammomatous meningioma. Surgery was the first choice of treatment for patients with spinal meningiomas. Male and pediatric patients were more vulnerable to borderline or malignant spinal meningiomas. Survival analysis showed that married, female, and younger patients with benign meningiomas had better overall survival than their counterparts.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection is rapidly spreading all over the world. A new quantifying reagent for detecting SARS-CoV-2 antigen was developed for early and accurate detection. We evaluated the novel quantitative reagent for detecting SARS-CoV-2 antigen using an automated laboratory device.
One-hundred nasopharyngeal samples were collected from 47 SARS-CoV-2-infected patients, and 200 samples were collected from healthy donners. We measured the SARS-CoV-2 antigen and nucleic acid using Lumipulse Presto SARS-CoV-2 Ag and the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Detection Kit, respectively.
The sensitivity and specificity of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen test were 75.7% (56/74) and 96.0% (192/200), respectively. The concordance rate in the positive group between the antigen and nucleic acid tests was 66% (66/100). In addition, the correlation coefficient between the concentration of SARS-CoV-2 antigen and the level of SARS-CoV-2 RNA was 0.74. There were 19 discrepant samples in which SARS-CoV-2 RNA was detected without SARS-CoV-2 antigen. There was significant difference between the discrepant and matched samples in terms of the time since symptom onset the 19 discrepant samples were collected a median of 33 days after onset, while the 55 matched samples were collected a median of 19 days after onset. In addition, the 19 discrepant samples were collected from patients who were immune against SARS-CoV-2.

It has been reported that those who suffer from cancer (especially lung cancer and hematological malignancies) are at higher risk of serious complications and death from COVID-19. Some cancer treatments such as CAR T cell therapy can produce a cytokine storm, which is also a hallmark of severe COVID-19. Therefore, patients receiving CAR T cells are at higher risk if they become infected with COVID-19, and could be treated with anti-cytokine approaches.

The biochemical synthesis of keto acids has been discovered with the development of metabolic engineering and applied toward the production of specific keto acids from renewable carbohydrates using different metabolic engineering strategies in microbes. In this review, we provide a systematic summary of the types and applications of keto acids, and then summarize and compare the chemical and biochemical synthesis routes used for the production of typical keto acids, including pyruvic acid, oxaloacetic acid, α-oxobutanoic acid, acetoacetic acid, ketoglutaric acid, levulinic acid, 5-aminolevulinic acid, α-ketoisovaleric acid, α-keto-γ-methylthiobutyric acid, α-ketoisocaproic acid, 2-keto-L-gulonic acid, 2-keto-D-gluconic acid, 5-keto-D-gluconic acid, and phenylpyruvic acid. This review gives an overview of the substrate and product specificities observed for the GH30 xylanases characterized to date. An emphasis is given to the structure-activity relationship in order to explain how minor differences in catalytic centre and its vicinity can alter catalytic properties from the endoxylanase into the reducing end xylose releasing exoxylanase or into the non-reducing end xylobiohydrolase. Biotechnological potential of the GH30 xylanases is also considered.Methane, the predominant element in natural gas and biogas, represents a promising alternative to carbon feedstocks in the biotechnological industry due to its low cost and high abundance. The bioconversion of methane to value-added products can enhance the value of gas and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. Methanotrophs, methane-utilizing bacteria, can make a significant contribution to the production of various valuable biofuels and chemicals from methane. Type II methanotrophs in comparison with Type I methanotrophs have distinct advantages, including high acetyl-CoA flux and the co-incorporation of two important greenhouse gases (methane and CO2), making it a potential microbial cell-factory platform for methane-derived biomanufacturing. Herein, we review the most recent advances in Type II methanotrophs related to multi-omics studies and metabolic engineering. Platelets release platelet-derived extracellular vesicles (PDEVs) upon activation - in a process that is regulated by generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Platelet NADPH oxidase-1 (Nox-1) contributes to ROS generation and thrombus formation downstream of the collagen receptor GPVI.
We aimed to investigate whether PDEVs contain Nox-1 and whether this is relevant for PDEV-induced platelet activation.
PDEVs were isolated through serial centrifugation after platelet activation with thrombin receptor agonist TRAP-6 (activated PDEVs) or in the absence of agonist (resting PDEVs). The physical properties of PDEVs were analyzed through nanoparticle tracking analysis. Nox-1 levels, fibrinogen binding and P-selectin exposure were measured using flow cytometry, and protein levels quantified by immunoblot analysis. ROS were quantified using DCF fluorescence and electron paramagnetic resonance.
Nox-1 was found to be increased on the platelet outer membrane upon activation and was present in PDEVs. PDEVs induced platelet activation, while co-addition of GPVI agonist collagen-related peptide (CRP) did not potentiate this response.

To determine whether the prognostic impact of lymph node ratio (LNR), defined as the ratio between the number of positive lymph nodes and removed lymph nodes, differs between open and minimally invasive surgical approaches for radical hysterectomy (RH) in node-positive, early-stage cervical cancer.
We retrospectively identified 2009 International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage IB1-IIA2 patients who underwent primary type C RH between 2010 and 2018. Among them, only those with pathologically proven lymph node metastases who received adjuvant radiation therapy were included. The prognostic significance of LNR was investigated according to open surgery and minimally invasive surgery (MIS).
In total, 55 patients were included. The median LNR (%) was 9.524 (range, 2.083-62.500). Based on receiver operating characteristic curve analysis, the cut-off value for LNR (%) was determined as 8.831. Overall, patients with high LNR (≥8.831%; n=29) showed worse disease-free survival (DFS) than those with low LNR (<8.831%, n=26) (
=0.027), whereas no difference in overall survival was observed. Multivariate analyses adjusting for clinicopathologic factors revealed that DFS was adversely affected by both MIS [adjusted hazard ratio (HR), 8.132;

Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) is ubiquitous in the environment, but NTM lung disease (NTM-LD) is uncommon. Since exposure to NTM is inevitable, patients who develop NTM-LD are likely to have specific susceptibility factors, such as primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD). PCD is a genetically heterogeneous disorder of motile cilia and is characterized by chronic respiratory tract infection, organ laterality defect, and infertility. In this study, we performed whole exome sequencing (WES) and investigated the genetic characteristics of adult NTM patients with suspected PCD.
WES was performed in 13 NTM-LD patients who were suspected of having PCD by clinical symptoms and/or ultrastructural ciliary defect observed by transmission electron microscopy. A total of 45 PCD-causing genes, 23 PCD-candidate genes, and 990 ciliome genes were analyzed.

Acute coronary occlusion is a rare but fatal complication that may occur during trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and appears more frequently in patients with low coronary heights. We evaluated the feasibility of self-expanding valves in patients with low coronary heights undergoing TAVI.
TAVI for native aortic valve stenosis was conducted in 276 consecutive patients between 2015 and 2019 at our institute. Using multi-detector computed tomography (****), information on the aortic valve, coronary arteries, and vascular anatomy in 269 patients was analyzed. We retrospectively identified 2009 International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics stage IB1-IIA2 patients who underwent primary type C RH between 2010 and 2018. Among them, only those with pathologically proven lymph node metastases who received adjuvant radiation therapy were included. The prognostic significance of LNR was investigated according to open surgery and minimally invasive surgery (MIS). In total, 55 patients were included. The median LNR (%) was 9.524 (range, 2.083-62.500). Based on receiver operating characteristic curve analysis, the cut-off value for LNR (%) was determined as 8.831. Overall, patients with high LNR (≥8.831%; n=29) showed worse disease-free survival (DFS) than those with low LNR (<8.831%, n=26) ( =0.027), whereas no difference in overall survival was observed. When the community acclimated to 4-CP was mixed with the community acclimated to 2,4-DCP, the 2,4-DCP removal rate remained high, and 4-CP was more rapidly biodegraded. This mini-review updated contemporary genomic studies on denitrifying genes in natural and engineered aquatic systems, with the constructed wetlands being the demonstrative system for the latter. Prospects for the employment of genomic studies on denitrifying systems for process design, optimization and development of novel denitrifying processes were discussed.We report results of the studies related to the fabrication of thionine functionalized graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets based ultrasensing platform for food toxin (Aflatoxin B1, AfB1) detection. The synthesis of graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets (g-C3N4) was carried out by polycondensation of melamine followed by chemical exfoliation. Further, thionine was used for the functionalization of g-C3N4 (Thn/g-C3N4) and deposited electrophoretically onto the indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass electrode. The fabricated Thn/g-C3N4/ITO electrode was covalently immobilized by EDC-NHS chemistry with anti-aflatoxin B1 (anti-AfB1) followed by blocking of non-specific sites using BSA molecules. For structural, morphological, functional and electrochemical properties analysis of synthesized nanomaterials and fabricated electrodes X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and cyclic voltammetry techniques were used. The electrochemical response studies of the fabricated biosensing platform (BSA/anti-AfB1/Thn/g-C3N4/ITO) were carried out towards detection of AfB1 antigen using cyclic voltammetry technique. The obtained electrochemical results indicate that the fabricated biosensing electrode having ability to detect AfB1 with lower limit of detection of 0.328 fg mL-1, linear detection range in between 1 fg mL-1 to 1 ng mL-1, sensitivity of 4.85 μA log [ng-1 mL] cm-2 with stability upto 7 weeks.
Previous reviews of interventions to prevent recidivistic intimate partner violence (IPV) have cited minimal benefits and have been critical of interventions adopting a 'one-size-fits-all' approach to a heterogenous category of offenders. The present systematic review and meta-analysis assesses evidence for interventions situated in a risk-need-responsivity framework, in comparison with the more traditional 'one-size-fits-all' intervention approach.
Six databases (PsycINFO, Web of Science, PubMed, EMBASE, SCOPUS, PILOTS) were searched for studies examining effectiveness of IPV interventions.
Thirty-one studies met the inclusion criteria. Studies were analysed separately depending on whether they compared two treatments (n=17) or used a no-treatment control group (n=14). In the meta-analysis, overall effect sizes were OR=0.52, 95% CI [0.35-0.78] for interventions with follow-up of≤one year (p<0.001) and OR=0.60, 95% CI [0.46-0.78] for interventions with follow-up between one and two years (p<0.001).

A potential novel active compound was purified possessing inhibitory activity against S. aureus. Using 16S rRNA, the strain was identified as Streptomyces sp. Our study highlights that the marine sponges of South Australia are a rich source of abundant and diverse bacteria producing metabolites with antimicrobial activities against human pathogenic bacteria and fungi.Exploring the chemical composition and biological activity of different fruit varieties is essential for the valorization of their health claims. The current study focuses on a detailed comparative analysis of three early- and two mid-ripening peach varieties "Filina" (peach), "July Lady" (peach), "Laskava" (peach), "Gergana" (nectarine), and "Ufo 4" (flat peach). They were characterized in terms of essential nutrients such as carbohydrates (sugars and dietary fibers), amino acid content, and lipids as well as mineral content, fat-soluble vitamins, carotenoids, and chlorophyll. Polyphenolic compounds and the related antioxidant activity were also assessed. The methanolic extract of the peel seems to be richer in the studied biologically active substances compared to the fleshy part of the fruit. Anthocyanins were most abundant in "Gergana" and "July Lady" extracts (6624.8 ± 404.9 and 7133.6 ± 388.8 µg cyanidin-3-glucoside/100 g fw, resp.). The total phenol content of the samples varied from 34.11 ± 0.54 to 157.97 ± 0.67 mg gallic acid equivalents (GAE)/100 g fw. "Filina" and "July Lady" varieties possessed the highest antioxidant activity. Overall, the results of this study confirm that the studied peach varieties have satisfactory nutritional value and are potential sources of biologically active substances. They were characterized in terms of essential nutrients such as carbohydrates (sugars and dietary fibers), amino acid content, and lipids as well as mineral content, fat-soluble vitamins, carotenoids, and chlorophyll. Polyphenolic compounds and the related antioxidant activity were also assessed. The methanolic extract of the peel seems to be richer in the studied biologically active substances compared to the fleshy part of the fruit. Anthocyanins were most abundant in "Gergana" and "July Lady" extracts (6624.8 ± 404.9 and 7133.6 ± 388.8 µg cyanidin-3-glucoside/100 g fw, resp.). Despite strong variation of resistance across geographical settings, there is limited understanding of the underlying drivers. To assess these drivers, we developed a transmission model of cephalosporin- and carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae. The model is parameterized using antibiotic consumption and demographic data from eleven European countries and fitted to the resistance rates for Klebsiella pneumoniae for these settings. The impact of potential drivers of resistance is then assessed in counterfactual analyses. Based on reported consumption data, the model could simultaneously fit the prevalence of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing and carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (ESBL and CRK) across eleven European countries over eleven years. The fit could explain the large between-country variability of resistance in terms of consumption patterns and fitted differences in hospital transmission rates. Based on this fit, a counterfactual analysis found that reducing nosocomial transmission and antibiotic consumption in the hospital had the strongest impact on ESBL and CRK prevalence. Antibiotic consumption in the community also affected ESBL prevalence but its relative impact was weaker than inpatient consumption. Finally, we used the model to estimate a moderate fitness cost of CRK and ESBL at the population level. This work highlights the disproportionate role of antibiotic consumption in the hospital and of nosocomial transmission for resistance in gram-negative bacteria at a European level. Cross-sectional questionnaires were administered to medical students at three medical schools in Israel, Malaysia, and China, at the end of one academic year. Surveys included demographic data, students' perceived academic rank, two learning environment perceptions scales, and scales for personal growth, goal orientation, burnout and quality of life. Comparative analyses were made to determine the significance of relationships between the outcome measures and control variables, using a series of t-tests. Pearson correlation coefficients were used to test the hypothesis.

Diabetes mellitus is an established risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Even impaired levels of glucose and insulin might harm organ function prior to diabetes onset. We described the use of a state-based, population-level surveillance system on COVID-19 prevention and information-seeking behaviors in Florida during the first month of survey administration.

Regular physical activity (PA) practice is a way to combat cardiovascular disease, and a PA interventional program, including individualized prescription of walking with limited supervision of execution, may be a strategy to be applied in public parks. Thus, our study tested the effects of a real-world program like this on cardiovascular risk and cardiorespiratory fitness (CF) of the users of a public park.
Data came from the Exercise and Heart Project, a real-life park-based PA interventional program. The study phases were 1) a preintervention evaluation; 2) the individualized prescription of PA; 3) the supervision of the first practice sessions; 4) the unsupervised execution of the prescription; and 5) a postintervention evaluation.
Data from 152 participants (mainly women and aged 40 to 80 years) were analyzed. The intervention significantly increased CF (mean [standard deviation], 99 [19] steps vs 110 [21] steps, P < .001) and reduced body mass index, waist circumference, and systolic blood pressure, decreasing global cardiovascular risk (mean [standard deviation], 0.15 [2.84] vs -0.52 [2.60]; P < .001). The effects of intervention on cardiovascular risk were not different between the participants with low and high initial CF or PA levels.

The 7-item Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) assesses different aspects of the fear of coronavirus and has been applied worldwide. This study aimed to translate and validate the FCV-19S in the Portuguese population. The scale was administered to a convenience sample of 1203 Portuguese adults. Exploratory factor analysis was carried out on the initial model proposed by the authors of the FCV-19S. Further analysis revealed that the Portuguese version has good psychometric properties.This study aimed to explore how young people exercise agency in rural Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia in relation to sex, relationships and marriage, to inform local programmes aiming to prevent teenage pregnancy and child marriage. In each country, focus group discussions with young people and parents, in-depth interviews with young people and a variety of other participants, and a household survey with young people (15-24 years) were conducted. We found that (child) marriage was often a response to teenage pregnancy, which was highly prevalent in all study areas. Young people's aspirations to enter adulthood were influenced by their life circumstances. Initiation ceremonies symbolised the transition to adulthood and gave social endorsement to young people to start engaging in (often unprotected) sexual activity. Given the uncertain socio-economic context, resource constraints led families to marry off their daughters; or girls themselves to marry early to relieve the burden on their families, but also to get pregnant as a 'next step' towards adulthood. Data from 152 participants (mainly women and aged 40 to 80 years) were analyzed. Alzheimer's disease is a chronic condition that degenerates the cells of the brain leading to memory asthenia. Cognitive mental troubles such as forgetfulness and confusion are one of the most important features of Alzheimer's patients. In the literature, several image processing techniques, as well as machine learning strategies, were introduced for the diagnosis of the disease. This study is aimed at recognizing the presence of Alzheimer's disease based on the magnetic resonance imaging of the brain. We adopted a deep learning methodology for the discrimination between Alzheimer's patients and healthy patients from 2D anatomical slices collected using magnetic resonance imaging. Most of the previous researches were based on the implementation of a 3D convolutional neural network, whereas we incorporated the usage of 2D slices as input to the convolutional neural network. The data set of this research was obtained from the OASIS website. We trained the convolutional neural network structure using the 2D slices to exhibit the deep network weightings that we named as the Alzheimer Network (AlzNet). The accuracy of our enhanced network was 99.30%. This work investigated the effects of many parameters on AlzNet, such as the number of layers, number of filters, and dropout rate. We investigated whether perioperative urine pH was associated with contrast-associated acute kidney injury (CA-AKI) in patients undergoing emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Cellulases are well known for their various industrial applications. They are naturally produced by different species of bacteria and fungi. Fermentation process of cellulase producers has limitation due to the high substrate cost required for cellulase induction and challenges to maintain the suitable condition for the respective cellulase production. Recombinant cellulase production could be the potential solution to these problems. In the current study, we investigated recombinant cellulase expression in Escherichia coli using cellulase gene from Bacillus subtilis.
Extracellular cellulase production from B. subtilis strain was first confirmed on CMC agar and then the cellulase gene (1500 bp) was amplified from this strain and was further cloned in pET21a expression vector. In initial experimental studies, recombinant cellulase expression was achieved in inclusion bodies through shake flask level fermentation of transformed E. coli expression host BL21DE3. Attempts were made to express this 55 KDa His tagged recombinant cellulase into soluble form by modifications in fermentation conditions. One reason for this is because overdiagnosis is a complex phenomenon. In this article we try to show that the complexity can be analysed and addressed in terms of three perspectives, i.e., that of the person, the professional, and the population. Individuals are informed about overdiagnosis based on population-based estimates. These estimates depend on professionals' conceptions and models of disease and diagnostic criteria. These conceptions in turn depend on individuals' experience of suffering, and on population level outcomes from diagnostics and treatment. As the personal, professional, and populational perspectives are not easy to reconcile, we must address them explicitly and facilitate interaction. Population-based estimates of overdiagnosis must be more directly informed by personal need for information. So must disease definitions and diagnostic criteria. Only then can individuals be appropriately informed about overdiagnosis.Most cohort studies have only a single physical activity (PA) measure and are thus susceptible to reverse causation and measurement error. Few studies have examined the impact of these potential biases on the association between PA and mortality. A total of 133,819 participants from Nurses' Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-up Study (1986-2014) reported PA through biennial questionnaires. Cox regression was used to estimate hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for PA and mortality using different analytic approaches comparing single (baseline, simple update = most recent) versus repeated (cumulative average) measures of PA and applying various lag times separating PA measurement and time at risk. Over 3.2 million person-years, we documented 47,273 deaths. The pooled multivariable-adjusted HR (95% CI) of all-cause mortality per 10 MET-hour/week was 0.95 (0.94-0.96) for baseline PA, 0.78 (0.77-0.79) for simple updated PA and 0.87 (0.86-0.88) for cumulative average PA in the range of 0-50 MET-hour/week. Simple updated PA showed the strongest inverse association, suggesting larger impact of reverse causation. Application of 2-year lag substantially reduced the apparent reverse causation (0.85 (0.84-0.86) for simple updated PA and 0.90 (0.89-0.91) for cumulative average PA), and 4-12-year lags had minimal additional effects. In the dose-response analysis, baseline or simple updated PA showed a J or U-shaped association with all-cause mortality while cumulative average PA showed an inverse association across a wide range of PA (0-150 MET-hour/week). Similar findings were observed for different specific mortality causes. In conclusion, PA measured at baseline or with short lag time was prone to bias. Cumulative average PA showed robust evidence that PA is inversely associated with mortality in a dose-response manner.

In this article we try to show that the complexity can be analysed and addressed in terms of three perspectives, i.e., that of the person, the professional, and the population. Individuals are informed about overdiagnosis based on population-based estimates. These estimates depend on professionals' conceptions and models of disease and diagnostic criteria. These conceptions in turn depend on individuals' experience of suffering, and on population level outcomes from diagnostics and treatment. As the personal, professional, and populational perspectives are not easy to reconcile, we must address them explicitly and facilitate interaction. Population-based estimates of overdiagnosis must be more directly informed by personal need for information. So must disease definitions and diagnostic criteria. Only then can individuals be appropriately informed about overdiagnosis.Most cohort studies have only a single physical activity (PA) measure and are thus susceptible to reverse causation and measurement error. Few studies have examined the impact of these potential biases on the association between PA and mortality. A total of 133,819 participants from Nurses' Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-up Study (1986-2014) reported PA through biennial questionnaires. Cox regression was used to estimate hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for PA and mortality using different analytic approaches comparing single (baseline, simple update = most recent) versus repeated (cumulative average) measures of PA and applying various lag times separating PA measurement and time at risk. Over 3.2 million person-years, we documented 47,273 deaths. The pooled multivariable-adjusted HR (95% CI) of all-cause mortality per 10 MET-hour/week was 0.95 (0.94-0.96) for baseline PA, 0.78 (0.77-0.79) for simple updated PA and 0.87 (0.86-0.88) for cumulative average PA in the range of 0-50 MET-hour/week. Simple updated PA showed the strongest inverse association, suggesting larger impact of reverse causation. Application of 2-year lag substantially reduced the apparent reverse causation (0.85 (0.84-0.86) for simple updated PA and 0.90 (0.89-0.91) for cumulative average PA), and 4-12-year lags had minimal additional effects. In the dose-response analysis, baseline or simple updated PA showed a J or U-shaped association with all-cause mortality while cumulative average PA showed an inverse association across a wide range of PA (0-150 MET-hour/week). Similar findings were observed for different specific mortality causes. In conclusion, PA measured at baseline or with short lag time was prone to bias. Cumulative average PA showed robust evidence that PA is inversely associated with mortality in a dose-response manner.
