    This study adopted a descriptive cross-sectional research design. Online surveys were distributed to members of Australian professional networks, collecting information about handrail use, mobility supports and handrail design in ACFs.

    There were 112 participants (80% female), aged 18-55years or older. Many identified that handrails in ACF corridors are used by a residents, staff and visitors, and that circular-shaped handrails should be installed in ACF corridors to assist with mobility and safety.

    In combating the increasing trend of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) over the last two decades in the country, the Ministry of Health Malaysia developed the Enhanced Primary Health Care (EnPHC) initiative to improve care management across different levels of the public service delivery network. An evaluation research component was embedded to explore the implementation issues in terms of fidelity, feasibility, adaptation and benefit of the initiative's components which were triage, care coordination, screening, risk management and referral system.

    A mixed methods study was conducted at 20 participating EnPHC clinics in Johor and Selangor, two months after the intervention was initiated. Data collected from self-reported forms and a structured observation checklist were descriptively analysed. In-depth interviews were also conducted with 20 participants across the clinics selected to clarify any information gaps observed in each clinic, and data were thematically analysed.

    Evaluation showed that all comtion study disclosed issues of human resource and physical infrastructure when a supplementary intervention is implemented. To successfully achieve a scaled-up PHC service delivery model based on comprehensive management of NCDs patient-centred care, the adaptive measures in local clinic context highlight the importance of collaboration between good organisational process and good clinical practice and process.Does time management work? We conducted a meta-analysis to assess the impact of time management on performance and well-being. Results show that time management is moderately related to job performance, academic achievement, and wellbeing. Time management also shows a moderate, negative relationship with distress. Interestingly, individual differences and contextual factors have a **** weaker association with time management, with the notable exception of conscientiousness. The extremely weak correlation with gender was unexpected women seem to manage time better than men, but the difference is very slight.     Randomized clinical trials that investigated the efficacy of pharmacologic interventions in preventing PONV in patients undergoing thyroidectomy were included. The primary endpoints were the incidences of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), postoperative nausea (PON), postoperative vomiting (POV), use of rescue antiemetics, and incidence of complete response in the overall postoperative phases. The secondary endpoints were the same parameters assessed in the early, middle, and late postoperative phases. The surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA) values and rankograms were used to present the hierarchy of pharmacologic interventions.

    Twenty-six studies (n = 3,467 patients) that investigated 17 dirgoing thyroidectomy, with some heterogeneity observed in this NMA of full-text reports. Their use minimized the need for rescue antiemetics and enhanced the complete response.

This study aimed to compare the accuracy of diagnoses of OPMDs with dysplasia made by a primary examiner (general dental clinician) and a specialist (oral and maxillofacial surgeon) using the current Taiwanese Nationwide Oral Mucosal Screening Program (TNOMSP). A total of 134 high-risk participants were enrolled for oral mucosal screening via the TNOMSP. A primary examiner and a specialist examined each participant. Mucosal biopsies were obtained and subjected to histopathological analysis. The OPMD most frequently diagnosed by the primary examiner was thin homogeneous leukoplakia (48/134; 35.8%), and in 39/134 participants (29.1%) the diagnosis was uncertain, but abnormalities were suggested. The OPMDs most frequently diagnosed by the specialist were erythroleukoplakia (23/134; 17.2%) and thin homogeneous leukoplakia (21/134; 15.7%), and 51/134 participants (38.1%) were diagnosed with other diseases. Via histopathology, 70/134 participants (52.3%) were diagnosed with dysplasia, and 58/134 (43.3%) were diagnosed with benign conditions. The specialist's diagnoses exhibited a higher specificity, positive predictive value, and accuracy than the primary examiners. A specialist using the current TNOMSP for high-risk participants diagnosed OPMDs with dysplasia more accurately than a primary examiner. Here, an all-solid-state lithium-metal battery (ASSLMB) based on a garnet-oxide solid electrolyte with an ultralow negative/positive electrode capacity ratio (N/P ratio) is reported. Compared with the counterpart using a liquid electrolyte at the same low N/P ratios, ASSLMBs show longer cycling life, which is attributed to the higher Coulombic efficiency maintained during cycling. The effect of the species of the interface layer on the cycling performance of ASSLMBs with low N/P ratio is also studied. Importantly, it is demonstrated that the ASSLMB using a limited Li metal anode paired with a LiFePO4 cathode (5.9 N/P ratio) delivers a stable long-term cycling performance at room temperature. Furthermore, it is revealed that enhanced specific energies for ASSLMBs with low N/P ratios can be further achieved by the use of a high-voltage or high mass-loading cathode. The effect of the species of the interface layer on the cycling performance of ASSLMBs with low N/P ratio is also studied. Importantly, it is demonstrated that the ASSLMB using a limited Li metal anode paired with a LiFePO4 cathode (5.9 N/P ratio) delivers a stable long-term cycling performance at room temperature.   • Autophagy is reported to be involved in the formation of skin hypertrophic scar (HTS). However, the role of autophagy in the process of fibrosis remains unclear, therefore an improved understanding of the molecular mechanisms associated with autophagy may accelerate the development of effective therapeutic strategies against HTS. The present study evaluated the roles of autophagy mediated by transcription factor EB (TFEB), a pivotal regulator of lysosome biogenesis and autophagy, in transforming growth factor‑β1 (TGF‑β1)‑induced fibroblast differentiation and collagen production. Fibroblasts were treated with TGF‑β1, TGF‑β1 + tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) or TGF‑β1 + TFEB‑small interfering RNA (siRNA). TGF‑β1 induced phenotypic transformation of fibroblasts, as well as collagen synthesis and secretion in fibroblasts in a dose‑dependent manner. The identification of relevant mechanisms has revealed the immense potential of circRNAs and lncRNAs in the treatment of GC. However, there are still numerous issues that need to be resolved. The present review focuses on the clinical translation of circRNAs and lncRNAs into GC. Important achievements and currently existing limitations in this field of research are summarized from recent studies. EP decreased the levels of inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclo‑oxygenase‑2 in LPS‑treated ****.     Traditionally, double emulsions are produced in the presence of both oil-soluble and water-soluble surfactants in sequential droplet formation settings or unique fluidic designs. Micelles, assemblies of surfactants in liquid mediums, can generate single emulsion droplets without requiring input energy.     In the quest to reduce global food loss and waste, fruit processing wastes, particularly citrus peel waste (CPW), have emerged as a promising and sustainable option for biorefinery without competing with human foods and animal feeds. CPW is largely produced and, as recent studies suggest, has the industrial potential of biological valorization into fuels and chemicals. Further, the ability to relate variant surface forms emerges between 8- and 12-months. Our findings of biased learning provide further empirical support for a role for perceptual similarity in the acquisition of linguistically-relevant categories. The pooled total RNA of all samples were utilized to reconstruct a reference transcriptome with PacBio RS II sequencing, obtaining 49.19 G clean data, with a mean length of 2,180 bp. Seventeen cDNA libraries were constructed and sequenced to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among the different samples (FDR less then 0.05 and |log2 fold change| ≥1). A total of 103 and 251 DEGs were identified when exposed to hypoxia for one and six hours, respectively. Totally 462 and 673 DEGs were identified during reoxygenation at 1 and 12 h, respectively. Among these DEGs, two transcripts with complete ORFs were identified to encode hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (Es-Hif-1α/β), which is a transcriptional activator of various genes correlated to the cellular adaptive responses to hypoxia. Es-Hif-1a/β expressions were significantly upregulated when exposed to hypoxia treatment, and no significant difference was observed for Es-Hif-1α between hypoxic treatment for 6 h and reoxygenation. The significant KEGG enrichment revealed that the DEGs under hypoxia were mainly enriched in "PPAR signaling pathway", "Gap junction" and "Phototransduction-fly". Compared with crabs in normoxia, even with 12 h of reoxygenation, the hepatopancreas transcriptome under hypoxia remained severely affected, implying its adverse effect on growth and development, or increased susceptibility to diseases.There is no consensus on the cutoff for positivity of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) in endometrial cancer (EC). Therefore, we determined the cutoff value for ER and PR expression with the strongest prognostic impact on the outcome. Immunohistochemical expression of ER and PR was scored as a percentage of positive EC cell nuclei. Cutoff values were related to disease-specific survival (DSS) and disease-free survival (DFS) using sensitivity, specificity, and multivariable regression analysis. The results were validated in an independent cohort. The study cohort (n = 527) included 82% of grade 1-2 and 18% of grade 3 EC. Specificity for DSS and DFS was highest for the cutoff values of 1-30%. Sensitivity was highest for the cutoff values of 80-90%. ER and PR expression were independent markers for DSS at cutoff values of 10% and 80%. Consequently, three subgroups with distinct clinical outcomes were identified 0-10% of ER/PR expression with, unfavorable outcome (5-year DSS = 75.9-83.3%); 20-80% of ER/PR expression with, intermediate outcome (5-year DSS = 93.0-93.9%); and 90-100% of ER/PR expression with, favorable outcome (5-year DSS = 97.8-100%). There are a growing number of studies reporting patient-reported outcomes (PROMs) for patients with lymphedema. The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review of outcomes and utilization of PROMs following surgical treatment of lymphedema. METHODS A literature search of four databases was performed up to and including March, 2019. Studies included reported on QOL outcomes after physiologic procedures, defined as either lymphovenous bypass (LVB) or vascularized lymph node transplant (VLNT), to treat upper and/or lower extremity primary or secondary lymphedema. RESULTS In total, 850 studies were screened-of which, 32 studies were included in this review. Lymphovenous bypass was the surgical intervention in 16 studies, VLNT in 11 studies, and both in 5 studies. Of the 32 total studies, 16 used validated survey tools. The most commonly used PROM was the lymph quality of life measure for limb lymphedema (LYMQOL) (12 studies). In the remaining four studies, the upper limb lymphedema 27 scale (ULL27), the short form 36 questionnaire (SF-36), the lymphedema functioning, disability and health questionnaire (Lymph-ICF), and lymphedema life impact scale (LLIS) were each used once. QOL improvement following surgical treatment was noted in all studies. CONCLUSIONS Physiologic surgical treatment of lymphedema results in improved QOL outcomes in most patients. The use of validated PROM tools is increasing but there is no current consensus on use. The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review of outcomes and utilization of PROMs following surgical treatment of lymphedema. METHODS A literature search of four databases was performed up to and including March, 2019. Studies included reported on QOL outcomes after physiologic procedures, defined as either lymphovenous bypass (LVB) or vascularized lymph node transplant (VLNT), to treat upper and/or lower extremity primary or secondary lymphedema. RESULTS In total, 850 studies were screened-of which, 32 studies were included in this review. Lymphovenous bypass was the surgical intervention in 16 studies, VLNT in 11 studies, and both in 5 studies. Of the 32 total studies, 16 used validated survey tools. The most commonly used PROM was the lymph quality of life measure for limb lymphedema (LYMQOL) (12 studies). In the remaining four studies, the upper limb lymphedema 27 scale (ULL27), the short form 36 questionnaire (SF-36), the lymphedema functioning, disability and health questionnaire (Lymph-ICF), and lymphedema life impact scale (LLIS) were each used once. QOL improvement following surgical treatment was noted in all studies. CONCLUSIONS Physiologic surgical treatment of lymphedema results in improved QOL outcomes in most patients. The use of validated PROM tools is increasing but there is no current consensus on use.     This study highlights the contamination of MPs by pathogens that are resistant in the environment, and its sustainability along the winter season. The role of MPs as vectors of nosocomial infection needs to be better investigated.Design-driven materials engineering is gaining wider acceptance with the advancement and refinement of commercially available thermodynamic software as well as enhanced computing power. Computationally designed materials are a significant improvement over the more common and resource-intensive experimental approach to materials design by way of trial and error. While not entirely eliminating experimental methods for alloy design, thermodynamic and kinetic models provide accurate predictions of phases within a given alloy, which enables material properties to be calculated. Accordingly, the present paper introduces a new technique that offers a systematic method of material design by way of utilizing commercial computational software, which has been termed the elemental impact factor. In turn, the present manuscript considers Al 6061 as a proof-of-concept metallic alloy system for elemental impact factor substantiation. Effects of chemical composition on resultant equilibrium and metastable material phases as well as properties can be efficiently assessed with the elemental impact factor framework for metallurgical materials design. Desired phases or properties may be produced by adding elements with a positive elemental impact factor, while deleterious phases or undesired properties may be reduced by adding elements with a negative elemental impact factor. Therefore, the elemental impact factor methodology was presented and then demonstrated herein with examples that showcase the technique's potential applications and utility for integrated structure-processing-property-performance analysis.Alfentanil is used for chronic pain relief in palliative care. However, there is a dearth of data on its use. For this reason, a decision was made to review the use of alfentanil in palliative care. Retrospective study was carried out in a palliative care service. The files of patients who received alfentanil as an intravenous or subcutaneous continuous infusion for pain relief, between January 2018 and April 2019. In total, 111 patients received alfentanil out of 113 admissions. Of them, 56 were male, and the median age was 70 years. The median number of days on alfentanil was 6 (range 1 to 129). The most frequent primary reasons for switching to alfentanil was uncontrolled pain in 52 (46%) patients and renal impairment in 24 (21%) patients. The median 24-h initial dose of alfentanil was 4 mg (1-20), and the median final 24-h dose of alfentanil was 5 mg (1-60), (p less then 0.001). The initial 24-h median number of rescue doses was 2 (0-8), and the final median number of rescue doses was 1 (0 to 8), (p = 0.025). In 56 patients who were on alfentanil for at least 7 days, the dose decreased in 3 (5%), remained stable in 10 (18%) and increased in 43 (77%). The patient on alfentanil for 129 days maintained the same dose throughout that period. Alfentanil can be a useful second-line opioid. The induction of tolerance does not seem to be particularly rapid with alfentanil.Baculovirus expression vectors are successfully used for the commercial production of complex (glyco)proteins in eukaryotic cells. HolmiumYAG Laser ablation of hypertrophic papillae showed an effective minimally invasive management of the condition.

Using this approach, myoblasts were phenotypically identified by their position in the myogenic lineage, simultaneously with the quantification of autophagic flux in each identified subset. We found that generally autophagy flux is upregulated specifically during myoblast fusion and declines in myotubes. We also observed that mitophagy (i.e., selective autophagic degradation of mitochondria) is also active after myotube formation. The ability to track different types of autophagy is another feature of this methodology, which could be key to expand the current understanding of autophagy regulation in regenerating the skeletal muscle.The semiconductor industry's transition to three-dimensional (3D) logic and memory devices has revealed the limitations of plasma etching in reliable creation of vertical high aspect ratio (HAR) nanostructures. Metal-assisted chemical etch (MacEtch) can create ultra-HAR, taper-free nanostructures in silicon, but the catalyst used for reliable MacEtch-gold-is not CMOS (complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor)-compatible and therefore cannot be used in the semiconductor industry. Here, for the first time, we report a ruthenium MacEtch process that is comparable in quality to gold MacEtch. We introduce new process variables-catalyst plasma pretreatment and surface area-to achieve this result. Ruthenium is particularly desirable as it is not only CMOS-compatible but has also been introduced in semiconductor fabrication as an interconnect material. One of the rare causes is renal papillary hypertrophy. Literature review revealed only few reported cases. Biopsy in reported cases has shown hyperplasia of renal papillae with normal histology. We report a case of bilateral renal papillary hypertrophy in a 32 years old female presented with intermittent gross hematuria. Computed tomgraphy urography, cystoscopy and selective cytology did not show any positive findings. Retrograde flexible uretero-renoscopy showed enlarged renal papillae protruding into upper and middle calyces of both kidneys with clots and active bleeding in some. HolmiumYAG Laser ablation of hypertrophic papillae showed an effective minimally invasive management of the condition.
