There are serious safety risks associated with chemotherapy, often associated with interdependencies in regimens administered over months or years. Various strategies are used to manage these risks. Computerized provider order entry (CPOE) systems are also implemented to improve medication safety. Little is known regarding the effect of CPOE on how clinicians manage chemotherapy interdependencies and their associated safety strategies.
We conducted a multi-method qualitative study in a paediatric hospital. We analysed 827 oncology incidents reported following CPOE implementation and carried out semi-structured interviews with doctors (n = 10), nurses (n = 6), a pharmacist, and oncology CPOE team members (n = 2). Results were interpreted according to safety models (ultra-safe, high-reliability organisations [HROs], or ultra-adaptive).
Incident reports highlighted two interrelated types of interdependencies those within organisation of clinical activities and those inherent in chemotherapy regimens. Variation in genes implicated in homocysteine and lipid metabolism systems may influence antidepressant response for patients with major depressive disorder (MDD). This study aimed to investigate whether association of polymorphisms on the MTHFR, ApoE and ApoA4 genes with the treatment response in MDD subjects.
A total of 281 Han Chinese MDD patients received a single antidepressant drug (SSRI or SNRI) for at least 6 weeks, among whom 275 were followed up for 8 weeks. Their response to 6 weeks' treatment and remission to 8 weeks' treatment with antidepressant drugs was determined by changes in the 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HARS-17) score. Single SNP and haplotype associations with treatment response were analyzed by UNPHASED 3.0.13. Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the interactions between genotypes and gender or drug type on treatment outcome, only those SNPs that had interactional association with gender or drug type were subjected to further stratified analysis.

The census of adolescents mounted to 25% of the population and thus it is important to care for such significant portion of the population to document their reproductive health problems and their access to health care services. The study is expected to generate base-line indicators about barriers of access to reproductive health services by adolescents that can be used for better planning, monitoring and evaluation of the delivered services. The research about barriers of access to reproductive health services by adolescents in Sudan is still limited and the information is scanty and scattered. Thus, it is necessary to conduct such study to enrich the current database.
Asthma is one of the most common chronic diseases in childhood. Regular follow-up of physiological parameters in the home setting, in relation to asthma symptoms, can provide complementary quantitative insights into the dynamics of the asthma status. Despite considerable interest in asthma home-monitoring in children, there is a paucity of scientific evidence, especially on multi-parameter monitoring approaches. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate whether asthma control can be accurately assessed in the home situation by combining parameters from respiratory physiology sensors.
Sixty asthmatic and thirty non-asthmatic children were enrolled in the observational WEARCON-study. Asthma control was assessed according to GINA guidelines by the paediatrician. All children were also evaluated during a 2-week home-monitoring period with wearable devices; a physical activity tracker, a handheld spirometer, smart inhalers, and an ambulatory electrocardiography device to monitor heart and respiratory rate.

To investigate the value of chest ultrasound in the diagnosis of pneumonia in adults.
The prospective observational cohort study was conducted at Bakirkoy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey, from December 1, 2015,to March 1, 2016, and comprised suspected pneumonia patients aged >18 years. Sonographic pneumonia was defined as lung consolidation with air bronchograms. Treating clinicians were blinded to lung ultrasound results. All patients who were advised to undergo thoracic computerised tomography after physical examination were subjected to posteroanterior chest X-ray before the scan. Patients in whom pneumonia was detected in the scan underwent thorax ulstasonography according to Bedside Lung Ultrasound in Emergency protocol. Follow-up was done with medical record review to obtain the final diagnosis and antibiotic usage. Data was analysed using SPSS 22.
Of the 125 patients, 61(48.8%) were male. The overall mean age was 73.9±14.6 years. In 97(77.6%) patients, pneumominal infiltration was detected by thorax ultrasound, and in 57(45.6%) the infiltration was detected with chest X-ray.

The prospective case-control study was conducted at the Emergency Department of the Ondokuz Mayis University, Samsun, Turkey, from March 2013 to June 2014, and comprised subarachnoid haemorrhage patients and healthy. Pentraxine-3levels were measured from serum samples and compared with sub-groups of the various scales and scores used in the study. Data was analysed using SPSS 15.
Of the 77 subjects, 40(52%) were patients and 37(48%) were controls. Pentraxine-3levels in the cases were significantly higher than the controls (p<0.001). The descriptive retrospective study was conducted at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and comprised data related to all the histologically diagnosed malignant childhood tumours in the institutional tumour registry from January 2009 to December 2018. Data was analysed using SPSS 20 for the site of involvement, age distribution and histological types of tumours.
Of the total 37793 malignant tumours, 1279(3.38%) were in paediatric subjects aged <15 years. There were 820(64.1%) male subjects and 459(35.8%) were female. Lymph node malignancies were the commonest 261(20.4%), followed by eye tumours 251(19.6%), and brain 107(8.3%).

Eight b-thalassemia mutations were identified that included IVS I-5(G C), codon 8/9 (+G), codon 30 (G C), -88 (C T), Cap+1(A G), codon 41/42 (-TCTT), IVS I-1(G T) and codon 16(-C). To measure the impact of intermittent kangaroo mother care on weight-gain of neonates in a neonatal intensive care unit.
The randomised controlled trial was conducted at the Department of Neonatology, the Children Hospital and the Institute of Child Health, Lahore, Pakistan, from March to October, 2018, and recruited newborns admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit. The subjects were randomised into case and control groups. Intermittent kangaroo mother care was given in the case group for seven days. Data was collected and analysed using SPSS 23.
Of the 153 neonates, 140(91.5%) were included; 70(50%) in each group. The most common reason for admission was bronchopneumonia 49(35%). In the case group, average weight gain was 10.22±1.65 grams/kg/day compared to 7.87±1.71 in the control group (p=0.0001). Beneficial effects of PAHSAs have been linked to metabolic disorders such as type 1 and type 2 diabetes, colitis, and chronic inflammation. Besides PAHSAs, a growing family of polyunsaturated FAHFAs exerts mainly immunomodulatory effects and biological roles of many other FAHFAs remain currently unknown. Therefore, FAHFAs represent unique lipid messengers capable of affecting many immunometabolic processes. We conducted this scoping review of mercury and its health effects in Pakistan in order to raise the flag to a silent ongoing Minamata disease in the country. We conducted a systematic search of the available literature in Google Scholar, PubMed, and grey literature of unpublished theses and reports of various universities across the country. We found that in the northern Pakistan, suspended sediments were the major pathway of the riverine mercury transport. Sediments of Hunza and Gilgit River were found high in mercury concentrations. Gold mining leads to an increase in en toxic levels of mercury among the most vulnerable populations of the country. Other sources of mercury exposure included mercury in traditional medicines and cigarette products. Though no evidence was found for its presence in drinking water, its existence in the food chain and occupational exposure pose great threat to the humans as well as animals.Objectives We evaluated the spectrum of diseases accompanying congenital hypothyroidism (CH) in the United Arab Emirates and compared them with internationally studied patterns. Methods The presented retrospective cross-sectional study took place in two government tertiary care centres. In total, 204 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of CH and a minimum period of follow-up of 1 year were included. Patients with Down syndrome, infants born at less then 35 weeks of gestation, and babies with TORCH (Toxoplasma gondii, Other viruses [HIV, measles, etc.], Rubella, Cytomegalovirus, and Herpes simplex) infections were subsequently excluded from the study. Results Of the subjects with CH, 39% had associated extrathyroidal anomalies (ETAs); among these, 25% had a single anomaly. The description of quantitative indicators was carried out with an indication of the median (25; 75 percentile). Qualitative with an indication of the absolute and relative frequencies n (%). Results It was noted that a third of the sample did not pass through the first stage (bacterioscopy). We noticed the predominance of oropharyngeal flora in the results. The sputum collection was carried out on average 3 (1; 5) days after the start of hospitalization, while antibiotic therapy was prescribed to all patients on the first day, the results of the bacteriological study were ready on average 6 (4; 8th) calendar days after hospitalization, while in 20 (1.5%) cases, the patient was already discharged. Due to the inefficiency of the starting regimen, antimicrobial agents have changed in 84 (6.3%) patients and averaged 5.5 (4.0; 10.0) days from the start of hospitalization. Conclusions The violation of the technique and the time of sputum collection resulted in a reduction in the method's value.
Turner syndrome (TS) is a rare disorder affecting 1/2500 female newborn. Aortic dilatation (AD) and aortic dissection represent a major concern in TS. The aims of our study were to describe the aortic root growth, potential aortic dilatation (AD) risk factors and cardiovascular outcomes in a cohort of patients with TS.
Among 204 adult patients included, 197 were studied using a standardized 1.5 Tesla MRI protocol. AD was defined as an aortic diameter ≥20 mm/m2 at the Valsalva sinuses and/or at the ascending aorta, when indexed to body surface area.
At baseline, AD was present in 81/197 (41.1%) and 32/197 (16.2%) of patients, at the levels of Valsalva and ascending aorta, respectively. The aortic Valsalva diameter was larger in patients treated for thyroiditis (P < 0.001). Potential risk factors of AD were aging (P < 0.001) and the presence of bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) (P = 0.002). The hazard ratio (HR) of AD occurrence in the presence of BAV was 2.2 (95% CI 1.33-3.71). After a median follow-up period of 5.1 years (n = 143), AD was present in 58/143 (40.6%) and 25/143 (17.5%) of patients at the levels of Valsalva and ascending aorta, respectively. The median aortic growth of the Valsalva sinuses remained stable. At the ascending aorta, it increased by 0.14 ± 0.61 mm/year. Only one aortic-related death was observed.

In addition, metabolomics study revealed the presence of deregulated metabolites involved in the phospholipid metabolism pathway in patients with severe manifestations. In conclusion, disease severity in dengue virus infection did not correlate directly with NS1 level, but instead with host factors that are involved in the regulation of junctional integrity and phospholipid metabolism. However, as the studied population was relatively small in this study, these exploratory findings should be confirmed by expanding the sample size using an independent cohort to further establish the significance of this study.
Every winter, emergency departments (EDs) face overcrowding with patients presenting influenza-like symptoms, and organisational issues such as single room assignment and droplet precautions to avoid hospital-acquired influenza. Our main objective was to assess the impact of PCR results and patient's severity on single room assignment.
All patients admitted to Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital through the ED and tested for influenza by PCR (GenXpert, Cepheid) or (FilmArray, BioMérieux) on a nasopharyngeal swab were retrospectively included during three influenza seasons (2015-2018.
Of 1,330 included patients, 278 (20.9%) had a positive PCR for influenza. The median time to obtain a PCR result was 19 hours, and 238 (18.3%) patients were assigned a single room. Among patients with positive and negative influenza PCR, 22.3% and 16.7% were assigned a single room (p = 0.03). The multivariable analysis was performed on the two first epidemic periods, excluding the third epidemic because of the concomitant use of influenza immune-chromatic test. Only level 1 of the Emergency severity index (ESI) (aOR, 1.9; 95% CI, 1.3-2.8; p < 0.01) was associated with single-room assignment. PCR result was not statistically associated with the decision of single room assignment (aOR, 1.4; 95%CI, 1.0-1.4; p = 0.07).
A PCR positive for influenza was not significantly associated with single-room assignment. Less than one quarter of influenza patients were adequately assigned a single room, likely due to the long turnaround time of PCR result and other conflicting indications for single room-assignment. Accelerating biological diagnosis could improve single-room assignment.

Thrombin, a key enzyme of the clotting system, is involved in thrombus formation, platelet activation, and atherosclerosis, thereby possessing a central role in the pathogenesis of ischemic heart disease. Studies have shown an association between thrombin generation (TG) and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, but results have been equivocal. Our aim was to study the predictive ability of TG assay in evaluating coronary stenosis severity.
In this prospective study we recruited patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or acute chest pain (without evidence of myocardial injury) planned for coronary angiography. Thrombin generation was evaluated by Calibrated Automated Thrombogram (CAT) prior to angiography. Primary end points were significant coronary stenosis and the Syntax I score evaluated by coronary angiography.
From April 2018 through September 2019, we recruited 128 patients. In the primary analysis there was no significant association between TG and significant coronary stenosis nor between coronary disease severity.

Yet, in ACS patients, TG may have the ability to predict coronary disease severity.The aims of this study were to predict the potential distribution of two introduced Mustelidae, Mustela nivalis and M. putorius in the Azores archipelago (Portugal), and evaluate the relative contribution of environmental factors from native and introduced ranges to predict species distribution ranges in oceanic islands. We developed two sets of Species Distribution Models using MaxEnt and distribution data from the native and introduced ranges of the species to project their potential distribution in the archipelago. We found differences in the predicted distributions for the models based on introduced and on native occurrences for both species, with different most important variables being selected. Climatic variables were most important for the introduced range models, while other groups of variables (i.e., human-disturbance) were included in the native-based models. Most of the islands of the Azorean archipelago were predicted to have suitable habitat for both species, even when not yet occupied. Our results showed that predicting the invaded range based on introduced range environmental conditions predicted a narrower range.

All patients admitted to Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital through the ED and tested for influenza by PCR (GenXpert, Cepheid) or (FilmArray, BioMérieux) on a nasopharyngeal swab were retrospectively included during three influenza seasons (2015-2018. Of 1,330 included patients, 278 (20.9%) had a positive PCR for influenza. The median time to obtain a PCR result was 19 hours, and 238 (18.3%) patients were assigned a single room. Among patients with positive and negative influenza PCR, 22.3% and 16.7% were assigned a single room (p = 0.03). The multivariable analysis was performed on the two first epidemic periods, excluding the third epidemic because of the concomitant use of influenza immune-chromatic test. Our aim was to study the predictive ability of TG assay in evaluating coronary stenosis severity. In this prospective study we recruited patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or acute chest pain (without evidence of myocardial injury) planned for coronary angiography. Thrombin generation was evaluated by Calibrated Automated Thrombogram (CAT) prior to angiography. Primary end points were significant coronary stenosis and the Syntax I score evaluated by coronary angiography. From April 2018 through September 2019, we recruited 128 patients. Anthropogenic activity underpins the creation of urban ecosystems, often with introduced or invasive species playing a large role in structuring ecological communities. While the effects of urbanization on charismatic taxa such as birds, bees or butterflies have received **** attention, the impacts on small and inconspicuous organisms remain poorly understood. Here, we assess how the community structure of leaf litter-inhabiting microarthropods in city parks varies along an urbanization gradient in Toronto, Canada. At each park, we established paired forest understorey plots which were either dominated by native vegetation or dog-strangling vine Vincetoxicum rossicum, an invasive species that is spreading throughout northeastern North America and abundant in urban areas. We compared microarthropod richness, abundance and diversity in ecological traits between invaded and non-invaded plots as well as compositional dissimilarities among plots across the urbanization gradient. We recorded 123 genera and found (arban areas. Here, there is high richness and abundance but low ecological trait diversity, possibly because certain feeding traits are excluded and others overrepresented. Understanding of urban ecological systems must include knowledge of the microarthropods that interact widely across food webs, form distinct communities in highly urban areas and drive many of the important ecological functions upon which people in cities depend.
High resolution three-dimensional (3D) magnetic resonance (MR) images are well suited for automated cartilage segmentation in the human knee joint. However, volumetric scans such as 3D Double-Echo Steady-State (DESS) images are not routinely acquired in clinical practice which limits opportunities for reliable cartilage segmentation using (fully) automated algorithms. In this work, a method for generating synthetic 3D MR (syn3D-DESS) images with better contrast and higher spatial resolution from routine, low resolution, two-dimensional (2D) Turbo-Spin Echo (TSE) clinical knee scans is proposed.
A UNet convolutional neural network is employed for synthesizing enhanced artificial MR images suitable for automated knee cartilage segmentation. Training of the model was performed on a large, publically available dataset from the OAI, consisting of 578 MR examinations of knee joints from 102 healthy individuals and patients with knee osteoarthritis.
The generated synthetic images have higher spatial resolution and better tissue contrast than the original 2D TSE, which allow high quality automated 3D segmentations of the cartilage. The proposed approach was evaluated on a separate set of MR images from 88 subjects with manual cartilage segmentations. It provided a significant improvement in automated segmentation of knee cartilages when using the syn3D-DESS images compared to the original 2D TSE images.

Gene expression-based AC subtypes such as the Cancer Genome Atlas Network (TCGA) terminal-respiratory unit (TRU), proximal-inflammatory (PI) and proximal-proliferative (PP) subtypes have been associated with prognosis, but show methodological limitations for robust clinical use. We aimed to derive a platform independent single sample predictor (SSP) for molecular subtype assignment and risk stratification that could function in a clinical setting. Two-class (TRU/nonTRU=SSP2) and three-class (TRU/PP/PI=SSP3) SSPs using the AIMS algorithm were trained in 1655 ACs (n = 9659 genes) from public repositories vs TCGA centroid subtypes. Validation and survival analysis were performed in 977 patients using overall survival (OS) and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) as endpoints. In the validation cohort, SSP2 and SSP3 showed accuracies of 0.85 and 0.81, respectively. SSPs captured relevant biology previously associated with the TCGA subtypes and were associated with prognosis. In survival analysis, OS and DMFS for cases discordantly classified between TCGA and SSP2 favored the SSP2 classification. In resected Stage I patients, SSP2 identified TRU-cases with better OS (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.30; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.18-0.49) and DMFS (TRU HR = 0.52; 95% CI = 0.33-0.83) independent of age, Stage IA/IB and gender. SSP2 was transformed into a NanoString nCounter assay and tested in 44 Stage I patients using RNA from formalin-fixed tissue, providing prognostic stratification (relapse-free interval, HR = 3.2; 95% CI = 1.2-8.8). In conclusion, gene expression-based SSPs can provide molecular subtype and independent prognostic information in early-stage lung ACs. Hawai'i soil and chemically weathered rock (saprolite) samples were examined to characterize the microbiome and quantify 11 mineralogical features as well as soil pH. Machine learning methods were applied to identify important soil features influencing the presence of NTM. This might be particularly relevant in Hawai'i, a geographic hot spot for NTM infections and whose soil composition differs from many other areas of the world. Soil components are likely to contribute to NTM prevalence in certain niches as food sources or attachment scaffolds, but the particular types of soils, clays, and minerals that impact NTM growth are not well-defined. Hawai'i soil and chemically weathered rock (saprolite) samples were examined to characterize the microbiome and quantify 11 mineralogical features as well as soil pH. Machine learning methods were applied to identify important soil features influencing the presence of NTM. Having demonstrated potent antiviral activity against coronaviruses in preclinical studies, remdesivir emerged as a candidate drug for the treatment of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, during the current global pandemic. Phase III evaluation of remdesivir in the treatment of COVID-19 commenced in early 2020 and has thus far yielded promising results. In late May 2020, Taiwan conditionally approved the use of remdesivir in patients with severe COVID-19. This was followed by a rapid succession of conditional approvals in various countries/regions including the EU and Canada. Preceding these conditional approvals, an emergency use authorization for remdesivir had been granted in the USA (on 1 May 2020) and a special approval for emergency use was granted in Japan (on 7 May 2020). In this prospective, parallel, randomized, placebo-controlled and single-blind trial from August to September, 2017, 180 children with PAR were randomly assigned to an integrative group (CMAA and Montelukast), CMAA group (CMAA and placebo tablet), or Montelukast group (placebo CMAA and Montelukast). Participants were applied with CMAA for 6 sessions over 2 weeks, and/or Montelukast Chewable Tablet orally once daily for 12 weeks. The changes in severity of symptoms were measured by Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and rhinitis control assessment test (RCAT) at 0, 2, 4 and 12 weeks of treatment. Blood samples were collected for serum interleukin-4, interferon gamma γ and T helper type 1 (Th1)/Th2 flow cytometric analysis at the time points of 0, 4 and 12 weeks.

Early (i.e., postnatal day 28) initiation of SE treatment precluded the development of chronic neurocognitive impairments in all (i.e., 100%) HIV-1 Tg animals, albeit not for all neurocognitive domains. Most notably, the therapeutic effects of SE are generalized across the factor of biological sex, despite the presence of endogenous hormones. Results support, therefore, the efficacy of SE as a neuroprotective therapeutic for chronic neurocognitive impairments in the post-cART era; an adjunctive therapeutic that demonstrates high efficacy in both males and females. Optimizing treatment conditions by evaluating multiple factors (i.e., age, neurocognitive domains, and biological sex) associated with PHIV and HIV-1 associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND) affords a key opportunity to improve the therapeutic efficacy of SE.

The deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap is becoming the gold standard for breast reconstruction using autologous tissue. If there are scars in the abdomen from previous surgery, it is necessary to judge the indication for using this flap carefully. Particularly in cases with vertical midline scars, the blood flow supply to the zone II can be compromised. Even when patients have a median abdominal scar, it has been reported that the blood flow can extend beyond the scar and reach several centimeters to about half of zone II. We performed breast reconstruction using DIEP ***** for 2 patients with vertical midline scars in the lower abdomen. Indocyanine green angiography was conducted intraoperatively to confirm the vascular territory with a single pedicle before cutting off the flap. One patient showed fluorescence contrast on the contralateral side across the midline scar. However, the fluorescence contrast was absent across the midline scar in the other patient. Based on this result, we investigated the possible vascular territory of a single pedicled DIEP flap in patients with vertical midline abdominal scars. We suggest that successful blood supply to zone II of a single-pedicled DIEP flap in a patient with a vertical midline abdominal scar is related to the location of the perforator and the property of the tissue in the midline near the perforator. However, because it is difficult to predict the vascular territory of a single pedicle before surgery, intraoperative evaluation using such techniques such as indocyanine green fluorescence imaging is important.There is no current literature examining iatrogenic nerve injury resulting from orthopedic procedures across subspecialties and anatomic areas. This study uses a single peripheral nerve surgeon's experience to investigate the variable time to presentation of adult patients with iatrogenic nerve injury after orthopedic surgery. Methods A retrospective review of patients examined in Peripheral Nerve Clinic (PNC) from January 1, 2012, to April 1, 2018, at a single, private, university hospital was performed. Fifty-eight adult patients met inclusion criteria. Charts were reviewed to determine the index orthopedic procedure, peripheral nerve affected, clinical deficits, patient demographics, and time from injury to PNC presentation. Results The average patient age was 51.2 years, and the average time to PNC referral was 10.9 months after the procedure that resulted in nerve injury. The orthopedic procedures included fracture fixation (13), joint arthroplasty (10) knee arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction (9), mass excision (9), shoulder arthroscopy (7), irrigation and debridement (2), removal of deep hardware (2), tendon procedures (2), trigger digit release (2), nerve decompression (1), and release of exertional compartment syndrome (1). Time from injury to PNC presentation was substantially shorter for patients with upper extremity versus lower extremity deficits (5.9 months vs 19.8 months; P = 0.0173) and for patients with motor nerve involvement versus those with isolated sensory nerve injury (4.5 months vs 24.3 months; P = 0.0164). Conclusions Iatrogenic nerve injury is a risk across orthopedic subspecialties. Nerve injuries in the lower extremity and those with isolated sensory deficits have significantly delayed time to subspecialty presentation.Seroma following liposuction (especially mega-sessions; more than 5 L) is a common complication that causes **** distress to the surgeon and the patient. Fifty male patients participated after providing their informed consent. Their mean age was 35 years (range, 21-50) and mean body mass index was 29 (range, 28-33). Patients were divided into 2 groups. Group A consisted of 25 patients with no adjunctive draining procedures done, and group B consisted of 25 patients with drainage procedures done. Patients were followed up every other day for 3 weeks for detection of seroma. Results Seventeen patients had post-operative seroma 13 in group A and 4 in group B. The volume of seromas was further subdivided into mild (100 cc). Conclusions High definition liposuction is a demanding procedure by both the surgeon and the patient to achieve the best results and contour. A "secret" Facebook group was launched on October 30, 2018. Narrated lectures were posted weekly to the group. Educational cases were shared on the group's discussion page. Facebook "Group Insights" and individual post review were used to obtain group statistics. Results Senior faculty were less likely to have an existing Facebook account (58% vs 93%, P less then 0.05). Trainees were more confident using Facebook (97% vs 54%, P less then 0.05) and favored viewing the training curriculum through Facebook (93.0%, P less then 0.05). At 6 months, the group enrolled 103 members from 14 countries. Twenty-two lectures were posted, obtaining an average of 59.4 views (range, 36-78).
