Injectable dynamic hydrogels play a key role in cell transplantation to protect the cells from shear stress during injection. However, it still remains challenging to design dynamic hydrogels with fast gelation and high stability for protecting cells under flow due to the slow formation and exchange of most dynamic bonds. However, clinical evidence of its use in patients with renal failure is limited. Here, we aimed to identify factors associated with acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients administered L-AMB. We retrospectively utilized a combination of Diagnosis Procedure Combination data and laboratory data obtained from hospitals throughout Japan between April 2008 and January 2018. In total, 507 patients administered L-AMB were identified. After L-AMB treatment initiation, AKI, which was defined as a ≥ 1.5-fold increase within 7 days or ≥ 0.3 mg/dL increase within 2 days in serum creatinine according to the KDIGO criteria, was recognized in 37% of the total patients (189/507). The stages of AKI were stage 1 in 20%, stage 2 in 11%, and stage 3 in 7%. Five factors were associated with AKI of all stages prior treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin-receptor blockers or carbapenem; concomitant administration of catecholamines or immunosuppressants; and ≥ 3.52 mg/kg/day of L-AMB dosing. Serum potassium less then 3.5 mEq/L before L-AMB therapy was associated with severe AKI of stage 2 and 3. Altogether, these factors should be carefully considered to reduce the occurrence of AKI in patients administered L-AMB.Otitis media (OM), a very common disease in young children, can result in hearing loss. Exploration of other potential disease mechanisms will help elucidate how PLG contributes to OM susceptibility in humans. Improved OGT response by exercise was coupled with improved performance on behavioural tasks, oxidative stress markers and increased interleukin-1β concentration. Five adherence measures were extracted the percentage of doses taken, the percentage of days on which zero doses were taken, the percentage of days on which both doses were taken, the number of treatment intermissions per 100 study days, and the duration of treatment intermissions per 100 study days. We applied principal component analysis on the measures and subsequently applied k-means to determine cluster membership. Decision trees identified the measure that could predict cluster assignment with the highest accuracy, increasing interpretability and increasing clinical utility.

Integration mechanisms at each level and the contribution of implicit to explicit SoA remain underspecified. In a task of movements with visual outcomes, we tested the effect of social context (contextual cue) and sensory prediction congruency (retrospective sensorimotor cue) over implicit (intentional binding) and explicit (verbal judgments) SoA. Our results suggest that prospective sensorimotor cues determine implicit SoA. At the explicit level, retrospective sensorimotor cues and contextual cues are partly integrated in an additive way, but contextual cues can also act as a heuristic if sensorimotor cues are highly unreliable. In the second pathway, WW domain was bound to PRM with residues W17 and F29 instead of the two highly conserved residues (Y28 and W39), forming an unstable combination. These two results might cause WW domain to lose its original function or to pass the mistaken signal. However, MoS2 nanotube did not destroy the structure and binding of WW domain and PRM in the composite. DCA-OE could improve the stability and solubility of DOX in physiological environment, while pH-sensitive ortho ester linkage endowed the ability to release DOX quickly in cancer cells. In vitro cytotoxicity and apoptosis verified drug-loaded dimer nanoparticles had similar toxicity with free DOX. Besides, these particles could efficiently accumulate and penetrate into human liver carcinoma cell line (HepG2) multicellular spheroids, thus resulting in enhanced antitumor effect. The GERD incidence was similar between the PG-TVT and TG groups. The clinicopathological characteristics of the patients were analyzed. The age range of the patients was 24-38 years (median age, 29), all of the cases had abnormal vaginal bleeding and endometrioid adenocarcinoma was the most common histopathological subtype observed (8 cases, 88.9%). Of the patients, 2 had well-differentiated cases and 7 patients had moderately differentiated cases. Congenital pseudoarthrosis of the tibia is a rare congenital disease. Late presentation in adult, makes the diagnostic far more challenging and often misdiagnosed as a common non-union fracture with high re-operation rate. In long courses of repeated surgery, non-union persisted along with severe leg length discrepancy.
A 19-year-old male presented with history of left tibia fracture with repeated surgery. Current problems were progressed bowing of the left lower leg and length discrepancy without recent injury. There was a sign of neurofibroma and pseudoarthrosis at distal third of the tibia shaft with fibula involvement. A radical resection was performed followed by staged deformity correction with Ilizarov's method which was consisted of bone transport procedure in 4 months and lengthening procedure in another 4 months, without grafts.
After one-year, patient achieved union at docking site, equal lower limb length, good alignment and consolidation in bone transport and lengthening site. Three months due to the refractory nature of the disease.
Right ventricular outflow tract continuity abnormalities are one of the most commonly encountered entities in the field of congenital cardiac surgery. Various strategies including homograft, valve conduit, Contegra are used to restore continuity between right ventricle and pulmonary artery. In countries like Pakistan these may not be easily available and affordable. We report the experience of our short observational study of using a handmade trileaflet valve conduit to reconstruct the right ventricular outflow tract.
From September 2015 to December 2016, a total of 15 patients with different congenital heart diseases underwent open-heart surgery at our institute. Restoration of right ventricular to pulmonary artery continuity was achieved using handmade valve conduit utilizing bovine pericardium and thin sheet PTFE sheets (0.1mm) as conduit and valve respectively.
Patients ranged from 1 to 16 years. Seven patients had previous palliation including 4 blalock taussig (BT) Shunts and 3 pulmonary artery (PA) banding.
The GERD incidence was similar between the PG-TVT and TG groups. The mean levels of total protein and albumin within 6 months were significantly higher in the PG-TVT group compared with those in the TG group after adjustingtthe time effect and the interaction of time and surgical methods. In the midst of an unprecedented public health crisis, extraordinary containment measures must be implemented. These include both isolation and quarantine, either on a voluntary basis or enforced. In the transition from voluntary to mandatory isolation, conflicts arise at the intersection of ethics, human rights and the law. The Siracusa Principles adopted by the United Nations Economic and Social Council in 1985 and enshrined in international human rights legislation and guidelines specify conditions under which civil liberties may be infringed. In order for isolation processes in South Africa to claim legitimacy, it is important that these principles as well as national laws and constitutional rights are embedded in state action.Since community transmission of COVID-19 became established in South Africa, individuals who test positive for COVID-19 and who do not require hospitalisation have been permitted to self-isolate in their homes to reduce the burden on the health system. The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal Province has since announced that self-isolation will no longer be permitted in the province. Instead, mandatory isolation in state-designated isolation sites would apply. This policy change marks a dangerous departure from the country's prevailing position on home-based self-isolation and should not be replicated elsewhere.It is likely that the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic will affect a large part of the world's population and will last for several years. Many critical ethical issues have arisen in the healthcare context. Meanwhile, the existing convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have the problem of low fault recognition rates. This paper proposes a novel convolutional neural network with one-dimensional structure (ODCNN) for the automatical fault diagnosis of rolling bearings, which adopts six sets of convolutional and max-pooling layers to extract signal features and applies a flattening convolutional layer followed by two fully-connected layers for feature classification. However, how to overcome the static deformation with difficulty acquisition is a difficult problem in machine tool structure. The article takes the cantilever beam structure as a numerical example, the weak link is modeled as EA reduction in stiffness. Thorough finite element simulations are performed to assess the robustness and limitations of the method in several scenarios with single and multiple weaknesses. The sensors are used to acquire the acceleration data, the structural modal parameters are obtained by the singular value decomposition technique, and the dynamic characteristics are systematically reconstructed by using the modal state-space method to obtain static stiffness. Then, an identification method proposed by measured data and reconstructed data to identify the weak link of stiffness of the cantilever structure. Furthermore, the comparison of numerical and experimental results validate the correctness and effectiveness of this method.

Liver-expressed antimicrobial peptide-2 (LEAP-2) is a member of the antimicrobial peptides family. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/amg-perk-44.html Research has demonstrated that LEAP-2 contains a number of cations and plays a key role in the innate immune system of organism. In this study, we cloned and identified TroLEAP-2, from the golden pompano (Trachinotus ovatus), and analyzed its functions in vivo and in vitro. Results showed that TroLEAP-2 contains a 321 bp open reading frame (ORF) that encodes 106 putative amino acids with a molecular weight of 11.65 kDa. The mature TroLEAP-2 peptide possesses four conserved cysteine residues, which can form a core structure with two disulfide bonds between the cysteine residues in the relative 1-3 (Cys 77 and Cys 88) and 2-4 (Cys 83 and Cys 93) positions. It has a high amino acid sequence similarity (38.68%-83.02%) with the liver-expressed antimicrobial peptide -2 of other teleosts. Phylogenetic analysis showed that TroLEAP-2 clustered with the LEAP-2 of Paralichthys olivaceus and Miichthy milluy. TroLEAP-2 was most abundantly expressed in the liver, spleen, and kidney, and was significantly upregulated during Edwardsiella tarda and Streptococcus agalactiae infection. Purified recombinant TroLEAP-2 (rTroLEAP-2) could significantly inhibit the in vitro growth of E. tarda and S. agalactiae. Overexpression of TroLEAP-2 in vivo was shown to significantly reduce E. tarda and S. agalactiae colonization of tissues, whereas its knockdown resulted in an increase of bacteria in fish tissues. We also saw that TroLEAP-2 overexpression significantly improved macrophage activation in vivo. Moreover, TroLEAP-2 can induce the expression of nonspecific immune-related genes. These results showed that it might play a significant role in the innate immune system of golden pompano. This paper provides an updated review of the ECPR literature and practical recommendations for implementation of an ECPR program.The prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the worldwide population is currently estimated between 11% and 13%. Adequate renal clearance is compromised in these patients and the accumulation of a large number of uremic retention solutes results in an irreversible worsening of renal function which can lead to end stage renal disease (ESRD). Approximately three million ESRD patients currently receive renal replacement therapies (RRTs), such as hemodialysis, which only partially restore kidney function, as they are only efficient in removing mainly small, unbound solutes from the circulation while leaving larger and protein-bound uremic toxins (PBUTs) untouched. The accumulation of PBUTs in patients highly increases the risk of cardiovascular events and is associated with higher mortality and morbidity in CKD and ESRD. In this review, we address several strategies currently being explored toward reducing PBUT concentrations, including clinical and medical approaches, therapeutic techniques, and recent developments in RRT technology. These include preservation of renal function, limitation of colon derived PBUTs, oral sorbents, adsorbent RRT technology, and use of albumin displacers. Despite the promising results of the different approaches to promote enhanced removal of a small percentage of the more than 30 identified PBUTs, on their own, none of them provide a treatment with the required efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness to prevent CKD-related complications and decrease mortality and morbidity in ESRD.
To provide guidance about management of psoriatic disease during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
A task force (TF) of 18 physician voting members with expertise in dermatology, rheumatology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and critical care was convened. The TF was supplemented by nonvoting members, which included fellows and National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) staff. Clinical questions relevant to the psoriatic disease community were informed by questions received by the NPF. A Delphi process was conducted.
The TF approved 22 guidance statements. The average of the votes was within the category of agreement for all statements. All guidance statements proposed were recommended, 9 with high consensus and 13 with moderate consensus.
The evidence behind many guidance statements is limited in quality.

In this study, we cloned and identified TroLEAP-2, from the golden pompano (Trachinotus ovatus), and analyzed its functions in vivo and in vitro. Results showed that TroLEAP-2 contains a 321 bp open reading frame (ORF) that encodes 106 putative amino acids with a molecular weight of 11.65 kDa. The mature TroLEAP-2 peptide possesses four conserved cysteine residues, which can form a core structure with two disulfide bonds between the cysteine residues in the relative 1-3 (Cys 77 and Cys 88) and 2-4 (Cys 83 and Cys 93) positions. It has a high amino acid sequence similarity (38.68%-83.02%) with the liver-expressed antimicrobial peptide -2 of other teleosts. Phylogenetic analysis showed that TroLEAP-2 clustered with the LEAP-2 of Paralichthys olivaceus and Miichthy milluy. TroLEAP-2 was most abundantly expressed in the liver, spleen, and kidney, and was significantly upregulated during Edwardsiella tarda and Streptococcus agalactiae infection. Purified recombinant TroLEAP-2 (rTroLEAP-2) could significantly inhibit the in vitro growth of E. tarda and S. agalactiae. Overexpression of TroLEAP-2 in vivo was shown to significantly reduce E. tarda and S. agalactiae colonization of tissues, whereas its knockdown resulted in an increase of bacteria in fish tissues. Approximately three million ESRD patients currently receive renal replacement therapies (RRTs), such as hemodialysis, which only partially restore kidney function, as they are only efficient in removing mainly small, unbound solutes from the circulation while leaving larger and protein-bound uremic toxins (PBUTs) untouched. The accumulation of PBUTs in patients highly increases the risk of cardiovascular events and is associated with higher mortality and morbidity in CKD and ESRD. In this review, we address several strategies currently being explored toward reducing PBUT concentrations, including clinical and medical approaches, therapeutic techniques, and recent developments in RRT technology. These include preservation of renal function, limitation of colon derived PBUTs, oral sorbents, adsorbent RRT technology, and use of albumin displacers. Fontana-Masson staining revealed abundant melanin particles in the macrophages. Accordingly, we diagnosed this case as dermatopathic lymphadenitis. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were obtained through the median immune and stromal score using the R package "limma". Functional enrichment analysis and the PPI network MCODE were used to analyze DEGs. RESULTS Increased immune and stromal scores were closely related with advanced glioma grade and poor prognosis (all P less then 0.01). In total, 558 DEGs were found and most were related to tumor prognosis. Functional enrichment analysis showed that DEGs were associated with cell-matrix regulation and immune response. Four hub modules related to tumor angiogenesis, collagen formation, and immune response were found and analyzed. Previously overlooked microenvironment-related genes such as LAMB1, FN1, ACTN1, TRIM, SERPINH1, CYBA, LAIR1, and LILRB2 showed prognostic values in malignant glioma patients. CONCLUSIONS The glioma stromal/immune scores are closely related to glioma grade, histology, and survival time. The first case was a 70-year-old male patient with intraductal papillary neoplasm with invasive cholangiocarcinoma. He underwent retroduodenal resection of the whole CBD and in situ re-implantation of the main pancreatic duct. He was disease-free for 8 years, but tumor recurrence occurred at the hepaticojejunostomy site. This patient is currently undergoing chemoradiation therapy for treatment of recurrent lesions. We present a case of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma that arose from the remnant CC portion that was located within the liver 10 years after resection. A 59-year-old female patient had undergone resection of type IV CC 10 years ago, leaving large remnant portions of CC at the liver and pancreas. Two and four years after resection of the extrahepatic CC, cholangitis with intrahepatic stones developed hence these episodes were treated with percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopy. Ten years after the first operation, intrahepatic stones and a new mass were identified in follow-up imaging studies. Because the mass was identified as adenocarcinoma on biopsy, we performed left hepatectomy with redo hepaticojejunostomy. Pathologic examination showed a 4.5-cm-sized moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma arising from the remnant CC with lymph node metastasis. The patient recovered uneventfully and is currently undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy. Our case indicates that the remnant intrahepatic CC can undergo malignant transformation long after resection of CC. Since the intrahepatic CC portion in type IV CC is usually unresectable, wide hepaticojejunostomy and life-long observation with regular imaging study follow-up are highly recommended for prevention and early detection of malignant transformation.

Achalasia is a rare motor disorder of the oesophagus that typically characterized by the absence of oesophagus peristalsis and failure of swallow induced relaxation of oesophagus sphincter (LOS). The prevalence of achalasia is eight cases per million population.
A 35-year-old woman presented with progressive dysphagia for 6 years. Her symptoms worsened in the last 14 days followed by vomiting undigested and retained food. She was previously diagnosed with a variant respiratory problem but her symptoms did not improve with medication. Clinical evaluation and investigation revealed features of multiple depigmented patches with sharply defined borders and leucotrichia on the neck, abdomen, hand, knee, and lateral malleolus. The patient had vitiligo for 18 years. The upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed the dilatation from distal oesophagus (38 cm from incisors) with retained food. The diagnosis of achalasia was given. After laparoscopic Heller's myotomy was performed and the opening of the oesophagus was repaired with Dor's fundoplication, her symptoms were **** improved.
We hereby report on a rare case of achalasia in a woman presenting with vitiligo which may suggest an autoimmune disorder in the onset of achalasia. Achalasia must be considered in vitiligo or any autoimmune disease presenting with the oesophagus-related problem.

However, perioperative Addisonian crisis resulting from postoperative routine cessation of intravenous Methylprednisolone has been rarely reported. We here report a case of perioperative Addisonian crisis induced by postoperative routine cessation of intravenous Methylprednisolone.
To report a 56-year-old lady was diagnosed with Addisonian crisis on postoperative duration of lumbar spine surgery after routine cessation of intravenous Methylprednisolone on postoperative day 5.
There are potential risk and medical complexity of the intravenous administration of Methylprednisolone perioperatively when patients underwent spine surgery, especially the patients with a history of adrenal insufficiency or hypothyroidism, and other endocrine diseases. The early diagnosis and effective replacement therapy after cessation of intravenous glucocorticoid to keep normal serum hormone levels can reduce risk and complication of Addisonian crisis.

Solitary adrenal metastasis derived from colorectal cancer is rare. Adrenal metastasis is usually associated with systemic spread of the disease and is considered to be unsuitable for surgical resection. However, it has been reported that an aggressive surgical resection of adrenal metastasis results in improved overall survival in selected patients. We herein report an extremely rare case of complete resection of rectal cancer with a synchronous solitary adrenal metastasis.
A 70-year-old woman who presented with ****** stool was diagnosed with rectal cancer with a synchronous solitary adrenal metastasis and was suspected of having liver invasion. After a total of 2 cycles of chemotherapy with capecitabine and oxaliplatin, an abdominoperineal resection with D2 (proxD3) lymph node dissection and right adrenalectomy was performed and complete resection was possible. According to the TNM classification, the diagnosis was stage IVA (fT3N1bM1a[ADR]). At 18 months after surgery, the patient is alive with no evidence of recurrence and distant metastasis.

The purpose of this study was to determine if symptoms of accommodative-vergence deficits predict an individual's level of task engagement and cognitive fatigue while performing a flight simulation task with or without automation. Eighty-four participants performed a flight simulation task with or without automation. Prior to task completion, self-report accommodative-convergence deficit symptoms were assessed with the Convergence Insufficiency Symptom Survey (CISS). https://www.selleckchem.com/products/tng-462.html Before and after the flight simulation task participants rated their task engagement and cognitive fatigue. Electroencephalographic activity (EEG) was recorded concurrently during task performance. Physicians need to be immediately aware of this potentially lethal complication in patients with endocrine system diseases. Solitary adrenal metastasis derived from colorectal cancer is rare. Adrenal metastasis is usually associated with systemic spread of the disease and is considered to be unsuitable for surgical resection. However, it has been reported that an aggressive surgical resection of adrenal metastasis results in improved overall survival in selected patients. We herein report an extremely rare case of complete resection of rectal cancer with a synchronous solitary adrenal metastasis. A 70-year-old woman who presented with bloody stool was diagnosed with rectal cancer with a synchronous solitary adrenal metastasis and was suspected of having liver invasion. After a total of 2 cycles of chemotherapy with capecitabine and oxaliplatin, an abdominoperineal resection with D2 (proxD3) lymph node dissection and right adrenalectomy was performed and complete resection was possible. According to the TNM classification, the diagnosis was stage IVA (fT3N1bM1a[ADR]). At 18 months after surgery, the patient is alive with no evidence of recurrence and distant metastasis. Careful pre- and post-operative management can allow surgeons to perform outpatient TKA, making this a more affordable procedure. The aim of the present meta-analysis is to compare outpatient and inpatient TKA.
A systematic search of the literature was performed in July 2020 on PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane library, and on the grey literature databases. The papers collected were used for a meta-analysis comparing outpatient and inpatient TKA in terms of complication and readmission rates. Risk of bias and quality of evidence were defined according to Cochrane guidelines.
The literature search resulted in 4107 articles; of these, 8 articles were used for the meta-analysis. A total of 212,632 patients were included, 6607 of whom were TKA outpatients. The overall complication rate for outpatient TKAs was 16.1%, while inpatient TKAs had an overall lower complication rate of 10.5% (p = 0.003). The readmission rate was 4.9% in outpatient TKAs and 5.9% in inpatient TKAs. Only 3 studies reported the number of deaths, which accounted for 0%. The included studies presented a moderate risk of bias, and according to GRADE guidelines, the level of evidence for complications and readmissions was very low.

Despite the enormous investment governments allocate to fight obesity, its worldwide prevalence is still on the rise. Moreover, the majority of the programs implemented are still targeting adults struggling with overweightness and focusing on transmitting knowledge about food. However, research shows that obesity prevention is more efficacious and cheaper, and beliefs about healthy eating have a stronger influence on eating behavior than declarative knowledge about food. In fact, knowledge about healthy eating only influences weight status when combined with self-regulation competences. Thus, the main goal of the current project is to develop and evaluate the efficacy of an online preventive intervention program, the HEP-S. This program is designed to promote and develop a set of transversal skills and strategies, related to self-regulation, on the healthy eating domain among school-aged children.
A three-armed randomized controlled trial will be conducted in several schools in Portugal. It will include anference session with a trained educational psychologist serving as a mediator and (ii) a weekly parental involvement activity. Narratives, or story-tools, embedded with self-regulation strategies are at the core of the intervention.
The program may play an important role in preventing risky and unhealthy eating behaviors by focusing on the development of self-regulation skills and strategies among elementary school children.

Cancer-related insomnia (CRI) is one of the most prevalent complaints among cancer survivors and severely impairs patients' quality of life. As a popular non-pharmacological alternative treatment, acupuncture provides a good clinical curative effect on insomnia. The aim of this trial is to evaluate efficacy and safety of electro-acupuncture on insomnia in patients with lung cancer.
This is a protocol for a multicenter randomized single-blinded sham-controlled trial. We will randomly assign 252 eligible patients with lung cancer-related insomnia into two groups at a ratio of 11, the treatment group (EA) and the control group (sham EA). All treatment will be given 3 times per week for 8 weeks, and a 12-week follow-up will be conducted. The primary outcome will be measured by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The secondary outcomes will include sleep parameters recorded from the actigraphy, scores from Quality of Life Questionnaire Core-30 (QLQ-C30), and Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9). All adverse effects during the trial will be assessed by the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS). All analyses will be based on ITT principle and performed with the statistical software SPSS (version 24.0) by t test, rank-sum test, chi-square, and so on. A two-sided significance level will be set at 5%.
This large-sample trial protocol will evaluate the efficacy of electro-acupuncture on insomnia in patients with lung cancer. This protocol, if proven to be effective, will contribute to filling the gap in treatment options in the CRI field and provide a promising intervention for insomnia in lung cancer survivors.

Objective Despite the prevalence and impact of nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI), there are few treatments developed to treat the behavior specifically, and little is known about moderators of treatment response. The Treatment for Self-Injurious Behaviors (T-SIB), a brief, behavioral intervention, was developed to treat NSSI in young adults; a previous pilot randomized controlled trial (RCT) comparing T-SIB with treatment as usual (TAU) provided support for the intervention. This study examined demographic, clinical, and NSSI-related predictors of treatment outcome in the pilot RCT for T-SIB. Method Young adults (N = 33) were randomized to receive T-SIB or treatment as usual; all participants were included in intent-to-treat analyses. The purpose of this study was to document the magnitude of that effect by examining (a) the amount of psychologists' telepsychology use before the COVID-19 pandemic, during the pandemic, and anticipated use after the pandemic; as well as (b) the demographic, training, policy, and clinical practice predictors of these changes. This study used a cross-sectional, national online design to recruit 2,619 licensed psychologists practicing in the United States. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, psychologists performed 7.07% of their clinical work with telepsychology, which increased 12-fold to 85.53% during the pandemic, with 67.32% of psychologists conducting all of their clinical work with telepsychology. Psychologists projected that they would perform 34.96% of their clinical work via telepsychology after the pandemic. Psychologists working in outpatient treatment facilities reported over a 26-fold increase in telepsychology use during the pandemic, while those in Veterans Affairs medical centers only reported a sevenfold increase. A larger increase in percentage telepsychology use occurred in women, in psychologists who reported an increase in telepsychology training and supportive organizational telepsychology policies, and in psychologists who treated relationship issues, anxiety, and women's issues. The lowest increases in percentage telepsychology use were reported by psychologists working in rural areas, treating antisocial personality disorder, performing testing and evaluation, and treating rehabilitation populations. We argue that evening cyber leisure has contradicting effects on next-day performance and vitality through its effects on bedtime procrastination and psychological detachment, and in turn, sleep quantity and sleep quality. We also propose that trait mindfulness acts as an important boundary condition of the indirect effects of evening cyber leisure. We used an experience sampling methodology to collect 3 surveys per day for 10 days from 155 R&D employees of a biotech company. Our findings suggest that cyber leisure has a negative indirect effect on sleep quantity and sleep quality via bedtime procrastination, and a positive indirect effect on sleep quantity and sleep quality via evening psychological detachment. Additionally, sleep quantity was positively associated with performance, and sleep quality was positively associated with psychological vitality. Lastly, as trait mindfulness increased, the negative impact of cyber leisure on bedtime procrastination was mitigated, and the positive impact of cyber leisure on psychological detachment was enhanced. Theoretical and practical implications specific to the use of cyber devices for workplace recovery are discussed. The antecedents consisted of individual (i.e., ego-resilient personality, intelligence, language ability, gender, and ethnicity) and contextual factors (i.e., maternal support and responsiveness, family socioeconomic adversity, teacher-child relationship conflict, and peer rejection). We identified 4 distinct codevelopment patterns including a chronic co-occurring group (30.1%), a moderate co-occurring group (28.5%), a pure-externalizing group (18.6%), and a low-risk group (22.8%). While children who belonged to any of the 3 higher risk groups exhibited more adverse early childhood antecedents compared with the low-risk group, the chronic co-occurring group displayed the most severe profiles of early childhood antecedents compared with the moderate co-occurring and the pure-externalizing groups. Common antecedents for the 3 higher risk groups were lower ego-resilient personality, higher teacher-child relationship conflict, being male, and being African American.
