These are amenable to gross total excision and usually carry a good functional outcome. Methods In this study, we reviewed the surgical outcomes of 35 patients who underwent excision of intradural extramedullary tumors. Patient demographics, severity and duration of symptoms, and tumor characteristics (anatomical and pathological) in all operated spinal IDEM tumors were collected. The neurological findings obtained during the preoperative stage and the postoperative follow-up were evaluated according to the Frankel and Nurick grading. The **** pain was assessed with help of the Denis pain scale (DPS). Results The histopathological outcomes of the study were as follows six patients of neurofibroma, 12 cases of schwannoma, nine cases of meningiomas, three cases of ependymoma, one case of dorsal neurenteric cyst, two cases of epidermoid cyst, one case of cauda equina paraurgical outcomes with some exceptions. Greater canal occupancy and a longer duration of symptoms are usually seen to correspond with suboptimal functional outcomes.Introduction The radiotherapy of left-sided breast cancers is challenging because of neighboring critical organs, posing an increased risk of complications. Various radiation delivery techniques have been used to deliver the desired dose of radiation to the target area while keeping the doses to nearby structures within constraints. The main aim of this study is to quantify doses delivered to the organs at risk (OARs) including heart, left lung, spinal cord, and contralateral breast, and to the planning target volume (PTV) using Field-in-Field (FIF) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT). Patients and methods A retrospective review of 15 left-sided breast cancer patients was done. All the patients underwent breast-conserving surgery and adjuvant radiation. For every patient, two different radiation treatment plans were formulated and compared for the PTV coverage and doses to OARs, including heart, ipsilateral lung, spinal cord, and contralateral breast. The radiation treatment techniques utilized for th(8.85cGy), ipsilateral lung dose (V16- 19.82cGy), mean contralateral breast dose (4.59cGy), and maximum spinal cord dose (7.14cGy). There was a significant mean difference between doses of OARs and all p-values were statistically significant (p less then 0.005). Moreover, the FIF technique also improves the dose distribution of PTV in terms of dose homogeneity. However, the conformity index is more enhanced with VMAT as opposed to FIF. Conclusion The FIF technique is more advantageous than the VMAT planning technique because it provides better dose distribution in terms of PTV coverage and significantly lower doses to OARs in radiotherapy to left-sided breast cancer.We present a case of a young woman who was admitted to the hospital with persistent pneumonia and cough productive of purulent green sputum. She was admitted to the intensive care unit due to type 1 respiratory failure. Chest computerised tomography (CT) showed a large right-sided hydropneumothorax, for which a right-sided chest drain was inserted. Despite intubation, oxygenation continued to deteriorate and the patient was commenced on veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and transferred to the regional ECMO centre. Bronchoscopy revealed a plastic coil from an electronic cigarette at the entrance to the right lower lobe. Following its removal, the patient's condition rapidly improved and she was successfully weaned from ECMO and discharged from the cardiothoracic critical care unit. There are very few reports of tracheobronchial foreign body (FB) aspiration secondary to electronic cigarette use, and tracheobronchial FB aspiration in adults requiring veno-venous ECMO to treat respiratory failure is uncommon. This case highlights the importance of considering tracheobronchial FB aspiration as a potential diagnosis in patients who present with more than two weeks of pneumonia not responding to treatment.Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a benign condition of the gastrointestinal tract causing abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, and/or constipation. Symptoms of IBS usually improve on passing flatus and defecation. There is no known identifiable underlying pathology; however, several risk factors are known to contribute to the development of IBS, which include a stressful lifestyle and certain foods such as bread, coffee, alcohol, pasta, and chocolates. Intestinal bacteria may also contribute to symptoms of IBS. IBS is diagnosed clinically and treated with various medications to control the symptoms. On the other hand, celiac and mesenteric artery thrombosis (CAMAT) is a condition that may cause significantly higher mortality and morbidity if not recognized early. CAMAT leads to the blockage of major blood vessels to the intestine and several abdominal viscera leading to abdominal pain, nausea, sweating, and, in some cases, symptoms of shock. CAMAT is most likely caused by thrombosis; however, occasionally, emf symptoms such as vascular thrombosis must be sought for patients who fail to improve with conservative management of IBS.

This study concluded that a typical pattern is the most common EEG pattern, although atypical and normal EEG patterns were also observed. It is worth inclusion into the existing literature and may be used for future literature review of similar studies done elsewhere in Pakistan to give a wider perspective comprised of a larger sample size - integrating
all studies.
