The major share of phosphate in biogas digestate is inorganic. For optimized nutrient recovery, inorganic phosphate must be analyzed adequately. Therefore, the photometric spectra of extracts from Hedley fractionation were measured and analyzed for their peaks using the molybdenum blue method. The ideal wavelength was 709 nm. The lower calibration limit needed to be raised from 15 µg L-1 to 50 µg L-1 to avoid underestimation of phosphate concentration. Besides numerous benefits of SSAD processes and progress in system design, there are still obstacles, which need to be overcome for its successful implementations. This review aims to compile the recent trends in enhancing the bioconversion of agricultural stubbles in SSAD. Several pretreatment procedures used to breaking lignin and cellulose complex, method to overcome carbon to nitrogen ratio imbalance, use of carbon-based conducting materials to enhance Volatile Fatty Acids (VFA) conversion and additives for achieving nutrient balance will be discussed in this review. Leachate recirculation and its impacts on SSAD of agricultural stubbles are also discussed.The Arabian Peninsula's advantageous climate, availability of non-arable land, access to seawater and CO2-rich flue gas, make it an attractive location for microalgae biomass production. Despite these promising aspects, the region has seen very few studies into the commercial feasibility of algae-based value chains. This work aims to address this gap through a techno-economic feasibility study of algae biomass production costs, comparing different photobioreactor types, locations, and production scales. Flat panel and raceway pond cultivation systems were found to be the most economically attractive cultivation systems, with biomass production costs as low as 2.9 €·kg-1. Potential cost reductions of up to 42.5% and 25% could be accomplished with improvements in photosynthetic efficiencies and increased culture temperatures, respectively. As of such, efforts to source local thermo- and photo- tolerant strains could be the key to unlock the potential of the region for algae commercialization, linking into food, feed and nutraceutical industries.Over the last few decades, clinical psychologists have played a key role in the development of empirically-validated psychosocial interventions for those with serious mental illness (SMI). However, in contrast to these substantial contributions, clinical psychologists in the United States are grossly underrepresented in treatment provision with this population (Roe, Yanos, & Lysaker, 2006; Rollins & Bond, 2001). This review aims to highlight various factors contributing to the establishment and perpetuation of this underrepresentation. First, we highlight systemic factors (e.g., the emergence of managed care) through an examination of the evolving role of the clinical psychologist. Next, we review training-based factors (e.g., limitations to SMI specific training) through a review of training in clinical psychology. Through an examination of training factors, the role of mental health stigma amongst clinicians toward individuals with SMI is identified as a potential perpetuating factor of this underrepresentation. Factors associated with clinician stigma are then reviewed and the relationship between clinical training and clinician stigma is considered. Lastly, important future directions to further investigate and address this underrepresentation are suggested - namely, investigating factors (training and individual) that may impact clinical psychology doctoral students' attitudes toward those with SMI.
The seizure activity associated with hypothalamic hamartomas (HHs) is refractory to medical management and surgical intervention is often required. Stereotactic Radiofrequency Ablation (SRFA) is a minimally invasive technique offering targeted lesion ablation with a reduced risk of complications.

Here, we review the current literature on the use of SRFA for HHs.

This study was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines for systematic literature review. A database search of PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, and Web of Science was conducted in July 2020.

A total of 12 articles were included in this review, showing outcomes for 185 unique patients. Of these patients, 142 (76.8%) experienced some extent of therapeutic benefit in alleviating seizures following SRFA, with 128 (69.2%) patients achieving complete freedom from seizures. Common transient complications included hyponatremia (52 patients, 28.1%), hyperphagia (48 patients, 25.9%), hyperthermia (47 patients, 25.4%), Horner's syndrome (103 patients, 55.7%), and weight gain (75 patients, 40.5%).

SRFA is a potential therapy for patients with HHs, especially when resection confers significant risk to surrounding structures. Multiple rounds of SRFA treatment may be needed in approximately a quarter of patients to improve gelastic seizure outcomes but may not affect non-gelastic seizures. There is limited data on the use of SRFA for HHs and further case series and clinical trials are needed to establish the use of SRFA for HHs.
