A total of 13 of 66 patients discontinued BZD anxiolytics during CBT, and 21 of 66 reduced their prescribed dosage by 50%. In this perspective article, we focus on the motor spectrum of FND (mFND), including individuals with functional movement disorders (FND-movt), functional limb weakness/paresis (FND-par) and functional [psychogenic non-epileptic/dissociative] seizures (FND-seiz). Additional sections discuss common "rule-in" neurological examination and semiologic signs of motor FND, as well as approaches to deliver the diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan based on individual patient needs. To aid the development of shared (partially overlapping) expertise that catalyzes an interdisciplinary approach to mFND, the use of physiotherapy for therapeutic motor retraining and cognitive behavioral therapy to examine relationships between symptoms, thoughts, behaviors and emotions are also discussed. Additional clinical research is needed to further refine and operationalize the assessment and management of mFND, across clinics, healthcare settings and countries.
The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) not only caused physical abnormalities, but also caused psychological distress, especially for undergraduate students who are facing the pressure of academic study and work. We aimed to explore the prevalence rate of probable anxiety and probable insomnia and to find the risk factors among a longitudinal study of undergraduate students using the approach of machine learning.

The baseline data (T1) were collected from freshmen who underwent psychological evaluation at two months after entering the university. At T2 stage (February 10th to 13th, 2020), we used a convenience cluster sampling to assess psychological state (probable anxiety was assessed by general anxiety disorder-7 and probable insomnia was assessed by insomnia severity index-7) based on a web survey. We integrated information attained at T1 stage to predict probable anxiety and probable insomnia at T2 stage using a machine learning algorithm (XGBoost).

Finally, we included 2009 dentified at an individual level by baseline data. Thus, timely psychological intervention for anxiety and insomnia symptoms among undergraduate students is needed considering the above factors.

To evaluate the correlation between mental health and hormone concentrations on patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

The present study was a cross-sectional analysis based on a self-reported psychological investigation. Salivary samples were collected from 22 patients with advanced NSCLC after CT and 17 healthy controls. The concentrations of DHEA, DHEAS, and cortisol were analyzed to investigate their associations with the results of self-reported questionnaires on psychological health.

Patients with advanced NSCLC exhibited significantly higher Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and Startle, Physiological arousal, Anger, and Numbness-Chinese version (SPAN-C) scores, poorer health conditions, lower sleep quality, and more severe fatigue after CT than did healthy controls, and salivary concentrations of DHEA and DHEAS were significantly lower among patients after CT than among controls. DHEAS concentrations were negatively associated with depression scores (PHQ-9, r = -0.496,
= 0.019) and fatigue scores (Brief Fatigue Inventory-Taiwan, r = -0.562,
