The rapid solidification process of Co50Ni50 alloy was simulated by molecular dynamics method, and the formation and evolution characteristics of cluster structure in the solidification process were analyzed by the pair distribution function, Honeycutt-Andersen bond type index method and the largest standard cluster. The results show that during the solidification process with a cooling rate of 1×1012 K·-1, the probability of mutual bond formation between Co-Co atoms is always greater than that of Ni-Ni, and the formation of the 1421 bond type is dominant in the crystalline structure. The inflection point of the characteristic bond type 1421 varies with the crystalline transition temperature Tg of the system. The Co-Ni alloy is mainly composed of a face-centered cubic atomic group composed of the 1421 bond type. Meanwhile, there will also be a small amount of hcp structure and a smaller amount of ****structure. Further analysis revealed that the formation of the fcc structure requires the fast decomposition of TCP structures (at 1450 K). That is to say, the TCP structure must be disassembled before the fcc structure is formed. These findings are useful to provide important guidance for the crystallization of Co50Ni50 alloy under rapid cooling in the experiment.Phospholipid liposomes are a promising drug delivery system. Catechin, a hydrophilic drug, was used to prepare catechin liposomes through a modified rapid expansion of supercritical solution (RESS) process in this study. The influences of operation parameters (i.e., temperature, pressure, and mass ratio of liposomal materials to catechin) on the properties of the prepared liposomes were determined using the single-factor analysis. The process was further optimized by response surface methodology (RSM) based on the Box-Behnken design (BBD). The encapsulation efficiency (EE) values can be adequately predicted using the obtained equation. The maximum EE value can reach 61.36±0.68% under the optimal parameters (i.e., the expansion temperature, pressure, and p/c mass ratio were 56.34 °C, 19.99 MPa, and 5.99, respectively). https://www.selleckchem.com/products/nibr-ltsi.html The prepared liposomes can effectively protect and stabilize the loaded catechin effectively. In addition, the in vitro release study showed the slow and sustained release behavior of the catechin liposomes. In this study, a novel comb-shaped graphene nanoribbon wideband bandpass filter for use at midinfrared frequencies is proposed. In addition, numerical investigation was carried outwith finite difference time-domain (FDTD) numerical simulations. The filter includes one graphene nanoribbon (GNR) waveguide laterally coupled to six perpendicular GNRs on each side. With a simple geometric shape, the transmission bandwidth and efficiency of waves within the structure can be tuned by altering the width or length of the GNR teeth. Moreover, the transmission spectra can be easily tuned within a broad frequency region by tuning the chemical potential of the graphene teeth, thanks to the electronic tunability of monolayer graphene. This work offers a promising method for developing ultra-compact tunable graphene devices and for designing integrated all-optical architectures.Conventional thermal fluids with suspended nanoparticles, known as nanofluids, have been developed for heat transfer applications. Heat transfer loss could be reduced significantly if the thermophysical properties of the heat transfer fluid are improved, which to some extent, could reduce the present global environmental challenges associated with energy utilization, such as climate change and global warming. In this work, the role of the concentration of sodium dodecyl-benzene sulfonate (SDBS) in the stability of Al₂O₃/bio-oil nanofluid is investigated the zeta potential value, and its implications to the viscosity and thermal conductivity of the nanofluid are explored. The bio-oil based nanofluid is fixed using a two-step method in which the prepared base fluid is added with 13-nm alumina nanoparticles powder. Various weight fractions of SDBS (0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 1.0 wt%) are used for both 0.1 and 0.2 wt% Al₂O₃ to investigate the significance of the stability of a nanofluid on its thermal conductivity and viscosity. Results indicate that a stable nanofluid has reduced viscosity and increased thermal conductivity.Rose Bengal (RB) was used as a functional pigment and poly dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride was used as a coupling agent to modify Graphene Oxide (GO) in order to enhance the light absorption and ROS generation of GO. GO, RB and the obtained RB-PDDA-GO were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, thermogravimetric analysis, Raman spectroscopy, UV-visible spectrophotometry, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The oxidation of hydroquinone to p-benzoquinone was used to evaluate the oxidation ability. Three kinds of reactive oxygen species (O₂·-, 1O₂ and ·OH) produced by the materials under light irradiation were detected by the ESR method using TEMP (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidine) and DMPO (5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline-N-oxide) as capture agents. The results showed that RB-PDDA-GO produced more ROS under light than GO. Antibacterial experiments were carried out with E. coli as the target strain to detect the actual utility of ROS produced by the materials. The results showed that RB-PDDA-GO had a significant sterilization effect.High performance p-GaN/oxide layer/n-GaN ultraviolet (UV) photodetector was fabricated in this paper. The UV detector composed of n-GaN and p-GaN film with oxide layer which was constructed by directly contacting way. The detector based on GaN p-GaN/oxide layer/n-GaN structure showed high UV response with fast speed. The results indicated that the fabrication of large-scale GaNbased materials was greatly facilitated with relatively low cost contacting method. Furthermore, it offered a new method to obtain UV detector for GaN-based materials with high performance.Suggested beneficial effects of surfactants added to the electrolyte solution of supercapacitors have been studied with the aim of improving wetting of the metal oxide electrode surface possibly enhancing material utilization and overall performance. Using representative non-ionic and anionic surfactants such improvements in terms of increased specific capacitance, capacitance retention with current density and improved stability were found. Further examination of type of surfactant and optimum surfactant concentration are recommended.
