The mTORC1 inhibitor Sirolimus is the only FDA-approved drug to treat LAM. Novel therapies for LAM are urgently needed as the disease recurs with discontinuation of the treatment and some patients are insensitive to the drug. This study proposes a new method of combining acoustic emission and normalized accumulation parameters to characterize wind turbine towers Q345 steel damage. First of all, tendency analysis of the acoustic emission signal parameter was conducted to determine damage degree during the damage stage. Secondly, we normalized the accumulation of amplitude and other parameters to compare the proportion of each accumulation parameter at different stages, while studying the spectra of common acoustic emission signals. Finally, comparing the differences and similarities of the normalized accumulation parameters between three different rates, we analyze the effect of rate on the normalized accumulation parameters. These results indicate that the normalized cumulative duration parameter is suitable for characterizing the yield damage occurrence, the normalized cumulative energy parameter is very sensitive to the fracture stage, the normalized cumulative energy parameter is least influenced by the loading rate, and the energy parameter is a sensitivity factor for normalized expression, which to realizes the stage of damage judgment.Gait phase detection on different terrains is an essential procedure for amputees with a lower limb assistive device to restore walking ability. In the present study, the intent recognition of gait events on three terrains based on sEMG was presented. The class separability and robustness of time, frequency, and time-frequency domain features of sEMG signals from five leg and **** muscles were quantitatively evaluated by statistical analysis to select the best features set. Then, ensemble learning method that combines the outputs of multiple classifiers into a single fusion-produced output was implemented. The results obtained from data collected from four human participants revealed that the light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM) algorithm has an average accuracy of 93.1%, a macro-F1 score of 0.929, and a calculation time of prediction of 15 ms in discriminating 12 different gait phases on three terrains. This was better than traditional voting-based multiple classifier fusion methods. LightGBM is a perfect choice for gait phase detection on different terrains in daily life.Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a serious lung disease characterized by excessive collagen matrix deposition and extracellular remodeling. Signaling pathways mediated by fibrotic cytokine transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) make important contributions to pulmonary fibrosis, but it remains unclear how TGF-β1 alters metabolism and modulates the activation and differentiation of pulmonary fibroblasts. We found that TGF-β1 lowers NADH and NADH/NAD levels, possibly due to changes in the TCA cycle, resulting in reductions in the ATP level and oxidative phosphorylation in pulmonary fibroblasts. In addition, we showed that butyrate (C4), a short chain fatty acid (SCFA), exhibits potent antifibrotic activity by inhibiting expression of fibrosis markers. Butyrate treatment inhibited mitochondrial elongation in TGF-β1-treated lung fibroblasts and increased the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP). Consistent with the mitochondrial observations, butyrate significantly increased ADP, ATP, NADH, and NADH/NAD levels in TGF-β1-treated pulmonary fibroblasts. Collectively, our findings indicate that TGF-β1 induces changes in mitochondrial dynamics and energy metabolism during myofibroblast differentiation, and that these changes can be modulated by butyrate, which enhances mitochondrial function.In the medical field, guidance to follow the surgical plan is crucial. Image overlay projection is a solution to link the surgical plan with the patient. It realizes augmented reality (AR) by projecting computer-generated image on the surface of the target through a projector, which can visualize additional information to the scene. By overlaying anatomical information or surgical plans on the surgery area, projection helps to enhance the surgeon's understanding of the anatomical structure, and intuitively visualizes the surgical target and key structures of the operation, and avoid the surgeon's sight diversion between monitor and patient. However, it still remains a challenge to project the surgical navigation information on the target precisely and efficiently. In this study, we propose a projector-based surgical navigation system. Through the gray code-based calibration method, the projector can be calibrated with a camera and then be integrated with an optical spatial locator, so that the navigation information of the operation can be accurately projected onto the target area. We validated the projection accuracy of the system through **** projection, with average projection error of 3.37 pixels in x direction and 1.51 pixels in y direction, and model projection with an average position error of 1.03 ± 0.43 mm, and carried out puncture experiments using the system with correct rate of 99%, and qualitatively analyzed the system's performance through the questionnaire. The results demonstrate the efficacy of our proposed AR system.
