There were no significant differences between groups regarding age, gender, body mass index, active smoking, and comorbidities. Operative time (SBH 125 vs. ACH 132 min, p = 0.13) and overall 30-day morbidity were similar between groups (SBH 14, 7% vs. ACH 13, 8%, p = 0.82). After a mean follow-up of 30 (10-48) months, the recurrence rate was 1, 4% and 2, 2% in SBH and ACH, respectively (p = 0.53). QoL after surgery improved significantly and similarly in both groups. CONCLUSION Bilateral laparoscopic TAPP in the setting of an asymptomatic hernia did not increase morbidity and had similar outcomes when compared to patients with bilateral symptoms. A comprehensive preoperative evaluation of the contralateral groin should be routinely performed, mainly by physical examination, and a bilateral repair may be proposed if an asymptomatic contralateral hernia is detected. The funding section of the original publication gave a wrong funding number.Density functional theory investigations at the DFT-B3LYP/6-311++G** theoretical level employed to determine the tautomerism, substituent effects of 4-substituted 4-amino-5-methyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thione, and its derivatives (4-R-H, 4-R-CH3, 4-R-F, 4-R-NO2) in the selected solvent (acetone, acetonitrile, and dichloromethane) and gas phases using the polarizable continuum method (PCM) model. The substituted 1,2,4-triazoles have two main different tautomers namely N2-H and S7-H. For considered derivatives, thione forms are more energetically stable and dominant form in the studied solvent and gas phases. In addition, geometrical parameters, charges on atoms, dipole moments, energetic properties, and the nucleus-independent chemical shifts (NICS) are investigated. It has been seen that these molecular features of the studied compound and its derivatives are mostly solvent dependent. For electron-releasing and -withdrawing derivatives in the solution and gas phases, 2-H forms are the more stable and dominant form. The relative stability of the C4-substituted 1,2,4-triazole tautomerism is influenced by the possibility for intramolecular interactions between substituent and electron-donor or electron-acceptor centers of the triazole ring.A paper based sensor array is presented to discriminate and determine five mycotoxins classified into three categories, namely aflatoxins, ochratoxins and zearalenone. The gold and silver nanoparticles, synthesized by three different reducing or capping agents, were employed as sensing elements of the fabricated device. These nanoparticles were poured onto hydrophilic circular zones embedded on the hydrophobic substrate. The response of the assay is dependent on the aggregation of nanoparticles for interaction with mycotoxins. Due to aggregation, the gold and silver nanoparticles changed to purple and brown, respectively. Color changes provide unique colorimetric signatures conducive to recognizing the type of mycotoxin, identifying its chemical structure, and finding the fungi that produce it. The discrimination ability of the assay was investigated by both supervised (linear discriminate analysis) and unsupervised (principle component analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis) pattern recognition methods. The assay was applied to the point of need determination of aflatoxin B1, aflatoxin G1, aflatoxin M1, ochratoxin A and zearalenone with a detection limit of 2.7, 7.3, 2.1, 3.3 and 7.0 ng.mL-1, respectively. The fabricated device has high potential of simultaneously determining the mycotoxins in pistachio, wheat, coffee and milk with the help of partial least square method. The root mean square errors for prediction of PLS model were 5.7, 5.2, 1.5, 7.2 and 2.9 for aflatoxin B1, aflatoxin G1, aflatoxin M1, ochratoxin A and zearalenone, respectively. Graphical abstractSchematic representation of paper based colorimetric sensor array based on gold and silver nanoparticles for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of aflatoxins, ochratoxin and zearalenone. To review the available evidence about the prevalence and determinants of antenatal common mental disorders (antenatal CMDs) among women in India. We searched Ovid Medline, Embase and Psyinfo systematically from date of inception to Oct. 31, 2019 for publications in English language on the prevalence of antenatal CMDs and their determinants among women in India. All study designs were included. Quality was assessed with Standard Quality Assessment Criteria for Evaluating Primary Research Papers. We performed a meta-analysis using a random effects model. Twenty-seven studies involving 7780 women were analysed. There was a high degree of heterogeneity ((I2 = 97.53%). Publication bias [Egger bias = 0.65 (95% CI 0.36; .94)] was evident. The overall pooled estimate of the prevalence of antenatal CMDs was 21.87% (95% CI 17.46; 26.29). Significant risk factors reported in the 18 studies which examined them were negative reaction of husband or in-laws to the dowry, difficult relationship with husband/in-laws, lack of support or experiencing violence perpetrated by an intimate partner and preference for or feeling pressured to have a male child. Protective factors were having more education and being employed, having a supportive husband and opportunities for recreation during pregnancy. Antenatal CMDs are highly prevalent among women in India. There is an urgent need for locally developed policies and programmes for mental health promotion during pregnancy, preventive and early intervention for antenatal CMDs among women to be integrated into maternity care in India.Density functional theory (DFT) calculations are employed to examine the adsorption behaviors of cysteine on the gold surface using Au6 and Au8 species as model reactants. Computed results show that cysteine molecules prefer to bind with gold clusters via the S-atom of the thiol group in vacuum and thiolate group in water. The gas-phase adsorption energies are around 20.2 kcal/mol for Au6 and 24.4 kcal/mol for Au8. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/pf-06463922.html In water environment, such values are slightly reduced for Au6 (19.6 kcal/mol), but increased a little more for Au8 (25.6 kcal/mol). As a result, if a visible light with a frequency of ν ≈ 6 × 1014 Hz (500 nm) is applied, the time for the recovery of Au6 and Au8 from the most stable complexes will be about 0.38 and 9.3 × 103 s, respectively, at 298 K in water. The Au6 is in addition found to benefit from a larger change of energy gap that could be converted to an electrical signal for detection of cysteine.
