Cutaneous manifestations have been included in COVID-19 patients' clinical spectrum. Our objective was to determine the association between skin lesions in children and SARS-CoV-2 infection, analyzing others possible infectious/autoimmune etiologies.

Observational, multicenter, cross-sectional study, about children with skin manifestations from April to May 2020. The diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 was performed by PCR in nasopharyngeal exudate and/or presence of antibodies by serology.

Sixty-two children were included, 9 (14.5%) presented positive antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, with no positive PCR to SARS-Cov-2 in those patients in whom it was made. Patients with positive serology to SARS-CoV-2 presented chilblains and/or vesicular-bullous skin lesions more frequently (66.7% vs. 24.5%, p=0.019). Generalized, urticarial and maculopapular rash was more common in patients with negative antibodies (37.7 vs. 0%, p=0.047), others pathogens were isolated in 41.5% of these patients. There were no significant differences in the positivity for autoantibodies between both groups.

Screening and decision-making require a multidisciplinary approach with the management of potential comorbidities championed by primary care providers and supported by respective specialists and subspecialists. Research into the comorbidities and systemic manifestations has generated significant data culminating in several proposals for a consensus guideline for both pediatric and nonpediatric populations. Our aim is to provide a summary targeted to the pediatric primary care provider from the best available evidence when caring for children with psoriasis.Based on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and Internet of Vehicles (IoV), collision warning systems can provide drivers specific warning information such as the position of hazardous vehicles. However, positioning technologies vary in accuracy. Highly accurate positioning technologies are theoretically favorable for driving safety but are relatively difficult to use widely due to the high cost. While many researchers compared accuracies of different positioning technologies or explored methods to improve accuracy, few directly investigated the effect of different positioning accuracies for hazardous vehicles on driving safety. The present study conducted a laboratory experiment to explore the effect of four positioning accuracies of hazardous vehicles (i.e., highest 1.5 m, high 5 m, medium 8.5 m, and low 20 m, each value represented the radius of a circle and the estimated positions of hazardous vehicle were within this circle) and different traffic densities (high one car per 150 m and low one car ions, and the largest mean deceleration. Moreover, when traffic density was high, warnings with the highest (1.5 m), high (5 m), and medium (8.5 m) positioning accuracies generated a significantly lower workload than the warning with low (20 m) positioning accuracy. In conclusion, low positioning accuracy (20 m), which was a general accuracy of A-GNSS (no added cost) or GNSS (SPP) (relatively low cost) in dense urban area, was feasible for providing warnings under low traffic density. Medium positioning accuracy (8.5 m), which was the accuracy of A-GNSS (no added cost) in open-sky area, was acceptable for supporting warning systems under high traffic density. These findings have implications for promoting the application of positioning technologies to realize warnings in the near future.Statistical analyses of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) yield a causally valid estimate of the overall treatment effect, which is the contrast between the outcomes in two randomized treatment groups commonly accompanied by a confidence interval. The statistical approach for this evaluation of potential effect modifiers is a test for statistical interaction to evaluate whether the treatment effect varies across levels of the effect modifier. In this article, we provide a concise and nontechnical explanation of the use of simple statistical tests for interaction to identify effect modifiers in RCTs. We explain how to calculate the test of interaction by hand, applied to a dataset with simulated data on 1,000 imaginary participants for illustration.
We performed a systematic review using Consensus Based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) guidelines to identify the best available patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) of postpartum pain.

This review follows COSMIN guidelines. We searched four databases with no date limiters, for previously identified validated PROMs used to assess postpartum pain. PROMs evaluating more than one author-defined domain of postpartum pain were assessed. We sought studies evaluating psychometric properties. An overall rating was then assigned based upon COSMIN analysis, and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach was used to assess the level of evidence for psychometric properties of included PROMs. These assessments were used to make recommendations and identify the best PROM to assess postpartum pain.

We identified 19 studies using seven PROMs (involving 3511 women), which evaluated postpartum pain. All included studies evaluated ≥1 ps assess postpartum pain.This paper concentrates on a simple and robust control method for the discrete time nonlinear systems to fulfill the requirement of predefined accuracy. A sliding mode control method is designed by introducing equivalent dynamic linearization technique according to the input/output (I/O) information merely. A square-root type error transformation method is presented for the tracking error to be restricted within a preassigned zone.
