Poor menstrual health literacy impacts adolescents' quality of life and health outcomes across the world. The aim of this systematic review was to identify concerns about menstrual health literacy in low/middle-income countries (LMICs) and high-income countries (HICs).
Relevant social science and medical databases were searched for peer-reviewed papers published from January 2008 to January 2020, leading to the identification of 61 relevant studies.
A thematic analysis of the data revealed that LMICs report detrimental impacts on adolescents in relation to menstrual hygiene and cultural issues, while in HICs, issues related to pain management and long-term health outcomes were reported more frequently.
In order to improve overall menstrual health literacy in LMICs and HICs, appropriate policies need to be developed, drawing on input from multiple stakeholders to ensure evidence-based and cost-effective practical interventions.

The influences of these environmental factors are thought to be mediated by epigenetic mechanisms which are heritable, reversible, and biologically relevant biochemical modifications of the chromatin carrying the genetic information without changing the nucleotide sequence of the genome. An important feature characterizing epigenetically-mediated processes is the existence of a time frame where the induced effects are the strongest and therefore most crucial. This period between conception, pregnancy, and the first years of life (e.g., first 1000 days) is considered the optimal time for environmental factors, such as nutrition, to exert t-natal nutrition on the development of allergic disease.Plant-associated endophytic microorganisms are essential to developing successful strategies for sustainable agriculture. Grazing is an effective practice of grassland utilization through regulating multitrophic relationships in natural grasslands. This study was conducted for exploring the effects of grazing on the diversities and communities of bacteria and fungi presented in rhizosphere soils, roots, stems, and leaves of Leymus chinensis (L. chinensis), based on high-throughput sequencing. Grazing increased bacterial diversity but reduced fungal diversity in plant leaves. Further analysis confirmed that the abundance of Chloroflexi, Gemmatimonadota, Nitrospirota, Sordariales, and Pezizales in plant leaves was increased by grazing. The Bray-Curtis similarities of microbial communities in the endosphere were higher under grazing plots than non-grazing plots. Moreover, the bacterial communities were significantly correlated with ions, while the nutrient and negative ions exhibited strong influence on fungal communities. We concluded that grazing-induced changes of microbial diversities and communities in different compartments of a dominant perennial grass (L. chinensis) could be attributed to the nutrient and ion distribution in host plant. The current study highlights the importance of livestock in mediating diversities and communities of endophytic microbes, and will be useful for better understanding the complexity of multitrophic interactions in a grassland ecosystem.The coordinated development of the economy, resources, and environment is a key aspect of sustainable development. China's rapid agricultural modernization has been accompanied by the continuous growth of rural economic aggregate and carbon emissions from the planting industry. However, the quantitative relationship between these two factors and its internal mechanism are not yet fully understood. In this paper, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) method is used to calculate the carbon emissions of the planting industry in China from 1998-2019. Based on this, the Tapio decoupling analysis model was constructed to study the decoupling relationship between economic development and carbon emissions of the planting industry in China from 1998-2019 and the associated spatial and temporal evolution patterns. The effect of the complete decomposition model (without residuals), in terms of carbon emissions from the planting industry, on the process of economic development and its transmission mechanisg influence on the carbon emissions of the planting industry. The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing the preventive practice of international students in South Korea during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Data were collected from international students in three universities from July 10 to July 31 in 2020. A total of 261 international students participated in the survey, using an online questionnaire. Data were analyzed by independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis.
