Recently, the interest in biometric authentication based on electrocardiograms (ECGs) has increased. Nevertheless, the ECG signal of a person may vary according to factors such as the emotional or physical state, thus hindering authentication. We propose an adaptive ECG-based authentication method that performs incremental learning to identify ECG signals from a subject under a variety of measurement conditions. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/cerivastatin-sodium.html An incremental support vector machine (SVM) is adopted for authentication implementing incremental learning. We collected ECG signals from 11 subjects during 10 min over six days and used the data from days 1 to 5 for incremental learning, and those from day 6 for testing. The authentication results show that the proposed system consistently reduces the false acceptance rate from 6.49% to 4.39% and increases the true acceptance rate from 61.32% to 87.61% per single ECG wave after incremental learning using data from the five days. In addition, the authentication results tested using data obtained a day after the latest training show the false acceptance rate being within reliable range (3.5-5.33%) and improvement of the true acceptance rate (70.05-87.61%) over five days.Bacillus thuringiensis, commonly referred to as Bt, is an object of the lasting interest of microbiologists due to its highly effective insecticidal properties, which make Bt a prominent source of biologicals. To categorize the exuberance of Bt strains discovered, serotyping assays are utilized in which flagellin serves as a primary seroreactive molecule. Despite its convenience, this approach is not indicative of Bt strains' phenotypes, neither it reflects actual phylogenetic relationships within the species. In this respect, comparative genomic and proteomic techniques appear more informative, but their use in Bt strain classification remains limited. In the present work, we used a bottom-up proteomic approach based on fluorescent two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) coupled with liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS) protein identification to assess which stage of Bt culture, vegetative or spore, would be more informative for strain characterization. To this end, the pnfined to the existing serovars. The obtained results indicate that neither gene presence nor the core gene sequence may serve as distinctive bases for the serovar attribution, undermining the notion that the serotyping system reflects strains' phenotypic or genetic similarity. We also provide a set of loci, which fit in with the phylogenomics data plausibly and thus may serve for draft phylogeny estimation of the novel strains.Independent component analysis (ICA) is one of the most effective approaches in extracting independent signals from a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) regional station network. However, ICA requires the involved time series to be complete, thereby the missing data of incomplete time series should be interpolated beforehand. In this contribution, a modified ICA is proposed, by which the missing data are first recovered based on the reversible property between the original time series and decomposed principal components, then the complete time series are further processed with FastICA. To evaluate the performance of the modified ICA for extracting independent components, 24 regional GNSS network stations located in North China from 2011 to 2019 were selected. After the trend, annual and semiannual terms were removed from the GNSS time series, the first two independent components captured 17.42, 18.44 and 17.38% of the total energy for the North, East and Up coordinate components, more than those derived by the iterative ICA that accounted for 16.21%, 17.72% and 16.93%, respectively. Therefore, modified ICA can extract more independent signals than iterative ICA. Subsequently, selecting the 7 stations with less missing data from the network, we repeatedly process the time series after randomly deleting parts of the data and compute the root mean square error (RMSE) from the differences of reconstructed signals before and after deleting data. All RMSEs of modified ICA are smaller than those of iterative ICA, indicating that modified ICA can extract more exact signals than iterative ICA.The cancer risk associated with exposure to environmental and occupational carcinogens such as asbestos, benzene, radiation, or lifestyle carcinogens such as cigarette smoking depends on the entire history of exposure to the carcinogen, including the age of exposure and the time-varying intensity of exposure [...].In this paper, a fractional-order active disturbance rejection controller (FOADRC), combining a fractional-order proportional derivative (FOPD) controller and an extended state observer (ESO), is proposed for a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) speed servo system. The global stable region in the parameter (Kp, Kd, μ)-space corresponding to the observer bandwidth ωo can be obtained by D-decomposition method. To achieve a satisfied tracking and anti-load disturbance performance, an optimal ADRC tuning strategy is proposed. This tuning strategy is applicable to both FOADRC and integer-order active disturbance rejection controller (IOADRC). The tuning method not only meets user-specified frequency-domain indicators but also achieves a time-domain performance index. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed FOADRC achieves better speed tracking, and more robustness to external disturbance performances than traditional IOADRC and typical Proportional-Integral- Derivative (PID) controller. For example, the JITAE for speed tracking of the designed FOADRC are less than 52.59% and 55.36% of the JITAE of IOADRC and PID controller, respectively. Besides, the JITAE for anti-load disturbance of the designed FOADRC are less than 17.11% and 52.50% of the JITAE of IOADRC and PID controller, respectively.Tool wear is a major cause of accelerated tool failure during the milling of aluminum alloy. The periodically cutting force directly affect the cutting heat and tool wear due to the intermittent cutting characteristics of the milling process. The focus of this paper is to analyze the influence of the variation of cutting force on tool wear behavior. The change law of cutting force by cutting parameters was analyzed firstly. Secondly, the variation of the wear land width (VB) of tool flank face by the milling length was analyzed. Thirdly, the wear morphology and the energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) results of tool rake face and flank face in different cutting parameters were observed by tungsten filament scanning electron microscope. Finally, considering the cutting force effect, the tool wear mechanism during high-speed milling of Aluminum-Alloy Die Castings 12 (ADC12, 12 means aluminum number 12) was analyzed. The cutting force in tangential direction is predominant during high-speed milling aluminum alloy, which decreases gradually with the increase of cutting speed but increases gradually with the feed rising.
