In particular, we present results for the homogeneous estimation of the activity indices S and log ( R HK ' ) , and preliminary results for elemental abundances of Na, Al, Mg, Si, C, N. In addition, we analyse the variation of a planetary spectrum, obtained with Ariel, as a function of the uncertainty on the stellar effective temperature. Finally, we present our observational campaign for precisely and homogeneously characterising all Ariel stars in order to perform a meaningful choice of final targets before the mission launch. This work demonstrates that ions have a strong impact on the growth per cycle (GPC) and material properties during plasma-assisted atomic layer deposition (ALD) of TiO2 (titanium dioxide), even under mild plasma conditions with low-energy (200% under the influence of ions, which is correlated with an increase in film crystallinity and an associated strong reduction in the wet etch rate (in 301 buffered HF). The magnitude of the influence of ions is observed to depend on multiple parameters such as the deposition temperature, plasma exposure time, and ion energy, which may all be used to minimize or exploit this effect. For example, a relatively moderate influence of ions is observed at 200 °C when using short plasma steps and a grounded substrate, providing a low ion-energy dose of ∼1 eV nm-2 cycle-1, while a high effect is obtained when using extended plasma exposures or substrate biasing (∼100 eV nm-2 cycle-1). This work on TiO2 shows that detailed insight into the role of ions during plasma ALD is essential for precisely controlling the film conformality, material properties, and process reproducibility.P2-layered sodium-ion battery (NIB) cathodes are a promising class of Na-ion electrode materials with high Na+ mobility and relatively high capacities. In this work, we report the structural changes that take place in P2-Na0.67[Mg0.28Mn0.72]O2. Using ex situ X-ray diffraction, Mn K-edge extended X-ray absorption fine structure, and 23Na NMR spectroscopy, we identify the bulk phase changes along the first electrochemical charge-discharge cycle-including the formation of a high-voltage "Z phase", an intergrowth of the OP4 and O2 phases. Our ab initio transition state searches reveal that reversible Mg2+ migration in the Z phase is both kinetically and thermodynamically favorable at high voltages. We propose that Mg2+ migration is a significant contributor to the observed voltage hysteresis in Na0.67[Mg0.28Mn0.72]O2 and identify qualitative changes in the Na+ ion mobility.P2-structured Na0.67Ni0.33Mn0.67O2 (PNNMO) is a promising Na-ion battery cathode material, but its rapid capacity decay during cycling remains a hurdle. Li doping in layered transition-metal oxide (TMO) cathode materials is known to enhance their electrochemical properties. Nevertheless, the influence of Li at different locations in the structure has not been investigated. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/Simvastatin(Zocor).html Here, the crystallographic role and electrochemical impact of lithium on different sites in PNNMO is investigated in Li x Na0.67-y Ni0.33Mn0.67O2+δ (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.2, y = 0, 0.1). Lithium occupancy on prismatic Na sites is promoted in Na-deficient (Na less then 0.67) PNNMO, evidenced by ex situ and operando synchrotron X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, and 7Li solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance. Partial substitution of Na with Li leads to enhanced stability and slightly increased specific capacity compared to PNNMO. In contrast, when lithium is located primarily on octahedral TM sites, capacity is increased but at the cost of stability. The electrochemical lithiation and delithiation of the layered oxysulfide Sr2MnO2Cu4-δS3 has been investigated by using a combination of in situ powder X-ray diffraction and ex situ neutron powder diffraction, X-ray absorption and 7Li NMR spectroscopy, together with a range of electrochemical experiments. Sr2MnO2Cu4-δS3 consists of [Sr2MnO2] perovskite-type cationic layers alternating with highly defective antifluorite-type [Cu4-δS3] (δ ≈ 0.5) anionic layers. It undergoes a combined displacement/intercalation (CDI) mechanism on reaction with Li, where the inserted Li replaces Cu, forming Li4S3 slabs and Cu+ is reduced and extruded as metallic particles. For the initial 2-3% of the first discharge process, the vacant sites in the sulfide layer are filled by Li; Cu extrusion then accompanies further insertion of Li. Mn2.5+ is reduced to Mn2+ during the first half of the discharge. The overall charging process involves the removal of Li and re-insertion of Cu into the sulfide layers with re-oxidation of Mn2+ to Mn2.5+. However, due to the different diffusivities of Li and Cu, the processes operating on charge are quite different from those operating during the first discharge charging to 2.75 V results in the removal of most of the Li, little reinsertion of Cu, and good capacity retention. A charge to 3.75 V is required to fully reinsert Cu, which results in significant changes to the sulfide sublattice during the following discharge and poor capacity retention. This detailed structure-property investigation will promote the design of new functional electrodes with improved device performance.Moving in together is an important transition in a relationship. For many, it is often a shift to the next phase of the relationship indicating higher levels of commitment. Whether the partners are married, plans to get married, or marriage is not part of their future, there are important conversations to be had prior to this transition. As such, this article presents recommended pre-cohabitation conversations with question prompts for partners to explore prior to moving in together. To best understand the dynamics of cohabiting that informed the questions, a review of the literature on cohabitation is presented. Additionally, race and culture, religion, and sexual and gender identity will be highlighted as essential conversation considerations especially as the majority of the literature is centered around white, hetero, and monogamous relationships. Created by a group of couple and family therapy graduate trainees based on the literature and their own personal and professional experiences, the pre-cohabitation conversations are organized into three categories- relationship negotiations, household rules, and communication.
