Developing highly efficient oxygen electrocatalysts is of vital importance for rechargeable Zn-air batteries (ZABs). Herein, Co/CoOx nano-heterojunctions encapsulated into nitrogen-doped carbon sheets (NCS@Co/CoOx) are fabricated via a dual-template-guided approach by using zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) as templates. The synergistic integration of structural and compositional advantages endows such catalyst with superior catalytic properties to benchmark noble-metal catalysts. To be specific, the hierarchical micro/mesopores affords massive mass transport channels and maximizes the exposure of accessible active sites, whereas the NCS matrix accelerates electron transfer and prevents the self-aggregation of active species during the electrocatalytic reaction. Moreover, abundant and synergistic Co-based active sites (CoO, Co3O4, Co-Nx) greatly promote the catalytic activity. As the cathode of both liquid and flexible solid-state ZABs, excellent device properties are achieved, outperforming those assembled with commercial Pt/C+RuO2 catalyst. This work presents a feasible and cost-effective strategy for developing oxygen electrocatalysts derived from ZIFs templates.Growing electroactive materials directly on a three-dimensional conductive substrate can effectively reduce the "ineffective area" of the electrode during the electrochemical reaction, increase the utilization rate of the material, and thus increase the energy density of the device. Using the network structure of the three-dimensional conductive substrate to design electrode materials with unique microstructures can also improve the stability of the materials. In this work, we obtained different copper-based materials on the copper foam (CF) by in-situ growth method, and designed an independent three-dimensional layered CuO@NiCoFe-S (CuO@NCFS) core-shell nanostructure composite material. CuO@NCFS exhibits excellent electrochemical performance, reaching a specific capacitance of 4551 mF cm-2 at a current density of 1 mA cm-2 with good cycle stability (94.2% after 5000 cycles). In addition, the asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) uses CuO@NCFS as the positive electrode and rGO as the negative electrode, which can provide an energy rate density of 4.5 mW cm-2 at a high energy density of 99.9 μWh cm-2. The findings provide some insight into rational design of electrode materials for high performance energy storage.Nanorod-like CoP nanoparticles were fabricated from different precursors of Co(OH)2 and Co3O4 by gas-solid reaction, then further embedded into g-C3N4 nanosheets to form intimate heterojunctions via the (011) crystal planes of CoP nanoparticles. The heterojunction hybrid obtained from Co(OH)2 exhibits superior activity in photo, electro and photoelectrochemical water splitting processes. In photocatalytic water half-splitting for hydrogen evolution reaction, the as-obtained 0.5% CoP-CN achieved a rate at 959.4 μmol·h-1·g-1 and 59.1 μmol·h-1·g-1 when irradiated by simulated sunlight and visible light respectively, almost 3.1 times and 15.8 times that of pristine g-C3N4, For photocatalytic water full-splitting, a stoichiometric evolution of H2 (14.7 μmol·h-1·g-1) and O2 (7.6 μmol·h-1·g-1) was observed on 3%Pt-0.5% CoP-CN composite. The onset potential for electrochemical HER process was drastically reduced after deposition with 0.5% CoP. Meanwhile, a higher photocurrent response and larger anodic photocurrent was detected over 0.5% CoP-CN photoanode during the photoelectrochemical water splitting process, relative to pristine g-C3N4 and its analogues. The comprehensive enhancements for catalytic activity of 0.5% CoP-CN could be attributed to its reduced over-potentials, more negative photo-reductive potentials, boosted interfacial charge transfer efficiency, as well as a **** higher solar to hydrogen efficiency. The contrastive redox roles of CoP in both photocatalytic water half-splitting and full-splitting processes have been fully explored and revealed. This design on covalent organic framework of highly efficient CoP-based heterojunctions holds great promise for direct water splitting applications in utilizing solar energy. The irreversible consumption of active sodium in sodium-ion full-cells (SIFCs) becomes particularly serious due to the existence of unavoidable interface or side reaction, which has become the key to restrict the development of high-performance sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). Interface design and electrolyte optimization have been proved to be effective strategies to improve or solve this problem. In this work, on the basis of traditional organic liquid electrolytes, a novel gel polymer electrolyte with high ionic conductivity (1.13 × 10-3 S cm-1) and wide electrochemical stability window (~4.7 V) was designed and synthesized using bacterial cellulose film as precursor. Compared with the liquid electrolyte, the obtained electrolyte can endow better sodium storage performance in both half- and full-cells. When coupled with sodium hexacyanoferrate cathode and hard carbon anode, a capacity of 94.2 mA h g-1 can be obtained with a capacity retention of 75% after 100 cycles at a current density of 100 mA g-1, while those of with conventional liquid electrolyte can deliver a capacity of 99.0 mA h g-1 but only accompany 58% capacity retention under the same conditions. Significantly, when the current density increases to 800 mA g-1, their capacity difference reaches 23.4 mA h g-1.Photocatalytic materials can be used as self-cleaning functional materials to alleviate the irreversible fouling of ultrafiltration membranes. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/aprocitentan.html In this work, the small size g-C3N4/Bi2MoO6 (SCB) blended polysulfone (PSF) ultrafiltration membranes was fabricated by hydrothermal and phase inversion methods. As a functional filler of ultrafiltration membranes, the small size g-C3N4 nanosheet decorated on the surface of Bi2MoO6 can enhance the photocatalytic performance for bovine serum albumin (BSA) degradation, and remove irreversible fouling under visible light irradiation. In addition, the introduction of SCB microspheres into PSF matrix obviously increased the porosity of ultrafiltration membranes. Therefore, the SCB-PSF ultrafiltration membranes displayed excellent antifouling performance (flux recovery ratio is 82.53%) and BSA rejection rates (94.77%). SCB-PSF also had high photocatalytic self-cleaning activity, indicating excellent application prospects in organic wastewater treatment.
