The name changes follow the evolution of the business from its origin by Sylvia Rose-Johnson as she progressed from designing in silver and gold for herself and friends to teaching silversmithing. Then into selling her products as The Silver Rose. This morphed into providing beading supplies needed by her students and customers to create their own unique designs resulting in the name change to Silver Rose Beads.
