This study aimed to test the model triggered by physical symptoms resembling COVID-19 infection, in which the need for health information and perceived impact of the pandemic mediated the path sequentially, leading to adverse mental health outcomes. A cross-sectional research design with chain mediation model involving 4612 participants from participating 8 countries selected via a respondent-driven sampling strategy was used. Participants completed online questionnaires on physical symptoms, the need for health information, the Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R) questionnaire and Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21). The results showed that Poland and the Philippines were the two countries with the highest levels of anxiety, depression and stress; conversely, Vietnam had the lowest mean scores in these areas. Chain mediation model showed the need for health information, and the perceived impact of the pandemic were sequential mediators between physical symptoms resembling COVID-19 infection (predictor) and consequent mental health status (outcome). Excessive and contradictory health information might increase the perceived impact of the pandemic. Rapid COVID-19 testing should be implemented to minimize the psychological burden associated with physical symptoms, whilst public mental health interventions could target adverse mental outcomes associated with the pandemic.Integration of accurate vestibular, visual, and proprioceptive information is crucial in managing the centre of mass in relation to the base of support during gait. Therefore, bilateral loss of peripheral vestibular function can be highly debilitating when performing activities of daily life. To further investigate the influence of an impaired peripheral vestibular system on gait stability, spatiotemporal parameters, step-to-step variability, and mechanical stability parameters were examined in 20 patients with bilateral vestibulopathy and 20 matched healthy controls during preferred overground walking. Additionally, using a partial least squares analysis the relationship between spatiotemporal parameters of gait and the margins of stability was explored in both groups. Patients with bilateral vestibulopathy showed an increased cadence compared to healthy controls (121 ± 9 vs 115 ± 8 steps/min; p = 0.02; d = 0.77). In addition, although not significant (p = 0.07), a moderate effect size (d = 0.60) was found for step width variability (Coefficient of Variation (%); Bilateral vestibulopathy 19 ± 11%; Healthy controls 13 ± 5%). Results of the partial least squares analysis suggest that patients with peripheral vestibular failure implement a different balance control strategy. Instead of altering the step parameters, as is the case in healthy controls, they use the single and double support phases to control the state of the centre of mass to improve the mechanical stability.Deep learning models based on medical images play an increasingly important role for cancer outcome prediction. The standard approach involves usage of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to automatically extract relevant features from the patient's image and perform a binary classification of the occurrence of a given clinical endpoint. In this work, a 2D-CNN and a 3D-CNN for the binary classification of distant metastasis (DM) occurrence in head and neck cancer patients were extended to perform time-to-event analysis. The newly built CNNs incorporate censoring information and output DM-free probability curves as a function of time for every patient. In total, 1037 patients were used to build and assess the performance of the time-to-event model. Training and validation was based on 294 patients also used in a previous benchmark classification study while for testing 743 patients from three independent cohorts were used. The best network could reproduce the good results from 3-fold cross validation [Harrell's concordance indices (HCIs) of 0.78, 0.74 and 0.80] in two out of three testing cohorts (HCIs of 0.88, 0.67 and 0.77). Additionally, the capability of the models for patient stratification into high and low-risk groups was investigated, the CNNs being able to significantly stratify all three testing cohorts. Results suggest that image-based deep learning models show good reliability for DM time-to-event analysis and could be used for treatment personalisation.

Over a six-year observation period, only two crowns lost retention. The findings of this study indicated that ideal taper angles were impractical and difficult to achieve in clinical education settings. © 2019 American Dental Education Association.This study examined happiness and satisfaction as possible foundations for long-term well-being and resilience in dental education. Psychological research has found that respect, camaraderie, and trust help define well-being and that resilience is built with these supportive influences. The aims of this study were to assess if happiness and life satisfaction reported by one U.S. dental school's faculty, students, and alumni also enhanced their perceived well-being and resilience and to determine the factor that most affected the participants' happiness. Email and hard copy surveys were distributed in 2018 and 2019 to all 71 full-time preclinical and clinical faculty members, 572 students in all four years, and 143 alumni who graduated in 2018 (total N = 786). Overall, 471 responded; response rates by group were as follows faculty 87.3% (N = 62), students 65.9% (N = 377), and graduates 22.4% (N = 32). Of the three groups, responding faculty members reported having the highest levels of happiness in life (92.0%) and job satisfaction (90.3%). In the highest percentage reported, 90.2% of D4 students reported that the level of trust and respect they received from clinical faculty members contributed most to their happiness. The lowest level of happiness among the groups (71.0%) was reported by the D2 students. These results suggested that perceived well-being translated to happiness among the participants in our study. More research is needed to understand the relationship among positive environments, well-being, and provider resilience in dental education. © 2019 American Dental Education Association.Technology has revolutionized the field of dentistry, and digital workflow has become commonplace in everyday dental practices. However, are future practitioners prepared to enter into an increasingly digitized world? The aim of this study was to determine the extent to which digital modalities were being taught to predoctoral dental students and used for patient care in dental schools throughout North America. A 35-question survey was sent in February 2019 to all 76 dental schools in the U.S. and Canada. After 90 days, 54 recorded responses were received, for a 71% response rate. Students were reported to be using ***/CAM technology in 50 (93%) of the 54 responding schools. While almost all schools responding to the survey were using digital scanning, there was disparity among them in terms of the types and frequency of procedures for which digital impressions were utilized. This study found that the incorporation of ***/CAM technology in predoctoral dental curricula varied widely. However, it was clear that the relative dearth of well-trained faculty members and the number of ***/CAM units available to students limited its use. The aims of this pilot study were to assess the feasibility of using case-based reciprocal learning with dental students and to assess its impact on students' satisfaction and perceived clinical reasoning, educational value, and use of evidence-based dentistry. In this quasi-experimental mixed methods study conducted in 2018, small-group sessions led by a third-year dental student were designed to expose second-year students to clinical portfolios prior to clinical rotations, promote evidence-based dentistry, and improve students' clinical critical thinking skills by having them work in small groups to teach and learn from each other. After the intervention, all 76 students in the sessions were invited to complete a survey with 11 Likert-scale items and six open-response questions assessing their engagement in learning, perceived educational value, and perceived quality of facilitation associated with reciprocal learning. Sixty-five students completed the surveys for a response rate of 86%. Among the survey respondents, 87.7% agreed/strongly agreed that the small groups facilitated enhanced learning, and 66.2% agreed/strongly agreed that they learned the material better because they had to teach it to their peers. Also, 74.6% agreed/strongly agreed that their clinical critical thinking improved, and 92.3% agreed/strongly agreed that they felt better prepared to complete a patient portfolio once they reach clinic. This study found that reciprocal learning had favorable outcomes in terms of students' perceptions of learning. The students reported that the small groups enhanced their learning, improved their comfort in asking questions in small groups, and exposed them to a variety of clinical situations. © 2019 American Dental Education Association.The aim of this study was to evaluate teeth prepared for computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (***/CAM) restorations by senior dental students using recently developed rubrics. The rubrics used evaluation criteria based on four factors retention or resistance form; marginal or internal adaption or manufacturing process; biology, esthetics, or durability of restorative material; and intraoral scanner impression. In academic year 2018-19, four faculty members used the rubrics to assess 111 first maxillary right premolars (tooth no. 4) prepared for lithium disilicate crowns and 223 second maxillary right premolars (tooth no. 5) and first maxillary right molars (tooth no. 3) prepared for monolithic zirconia partial fixed dental prostheses. The preparations had been performed on typodont teeth. The most common errors identified for tooth preparations were in the finish line quality (136 errors in 223 prostheses), a criterion that is crucial for quality ***/CAM restorations. To prevent poorly fit ***/CAM restoration preparations that result from an unacceptable finish line quality, students need to understand the rationale used to develop detailed rubrics and adhere to the defined critera.

Nifedipine (NF)-loaded poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and PLA/polyethylene glycol (PLA/PEG) microcapsules are synthesized using a high-speed agitator and a syringe pump with an oil-in-water emulsion-solvent evaporation technique to evaluate the effect of PLA/PEG ratio on morphology and drug release behavior of the capsules. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) results indicate that PEG reacts successfully with PLA due to the ether bond between PEG and PLA. The drug release rate of PLA and PLA/PEG capsules increases dramatically from 0 to 5 min and then reaches a plateau within 15 to 20 min. Due to the high specific surface area, the amount of NF released is raised by reducing the PLA concentration from 5 wt% to 2 wt%. Unlike PLA capsules, the drug release rate of PLA/PEG capsules increases due to the size effect by varying the PLA/PEG ratio from 10/0 to 6/4. Larger PLA/PEG capsules are attributed to higher amounts of encapsulated NF. The capsules show no evidence of cytotoxicity, suggesting that the PLA and PLA/PEG drug carriers are clinically safe.The TiO₂/Sr4Al14O25Eu2+,Dy3+ photocatalytic composite was prepared by depositing the nano-crystalline titanium dioxide layer on the long-lasting phosphor substrate of strontium aluminate, using a low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LP-CVD). The photocatalysis characteristic was studied by examining the photodegradation of benzene (C6H6) gas under UV, visible light illumination, and in the darkness. The photocatalytic composite of TiO₂-deposited Sr₄Al14O25Eu2+,Dy3+ showed an active photocatalytic reactivity under UV-light as well as visible-light illumination. The mechanism of the photocatalysis reaction for the TiO₂-deposited strontium aluminate phosphor composite was interpreted in point of the energy band structure and phosphorescent emission. The coupling of nanocrystalline TiO₂ with the strontium aluminate phosphor might result in an energy band bending at the interface of TiO₂/Sr₄Al14O25Eu2+,Dy3+, making the titanium dioxide at the junction to be photo-reactive even in a visible wavelength region. In addition, the depth profile of Auger electron spectroscopy (AES) confirmed a possible formation of oxygen vacancies at the interface between TiO₂ and Sr₄Al14O25Eu2+,Dy3+. Then, oxygen defects create extra electrons which may excited subsequently to the conduction band and participate in a photocatalytic reaction, resulting in an enhancement of the photodecomposition of benzene. The LP-CVD TiO₂-strontium aluminate phosphor was also photoactive in the darkness because of light emission from the long lasting phosphor. The thermal distribution and the performances of thermal-conductive plastic with heatsink are consistently investigated by using experimental and numerical results. Various thicknesses of thermal-conductive plastics from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm used in this research work. Basically the thermal-conductive plastic reduces the thermal interface resistance between the contact of two solid surfaces. As a result, High electrical power of about 15 W (1 A and 15 V) can be possible for applying to the high-power LED package without any damage. The soldering temperature of LED package without thermal-conductive plastic shows approximately 138.7 °C which is higher compared to the LED package with thermal-conductive plastic (124.3 °C). In this study, smart paints were produced based on carbon black, and their properties were measured using thermistors. Experiments were conducted to analyze the resistance properties using carbon and four types of polymers. Through the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images of the mixed paints, it was shown that the resistances were decreased due to the necking phenomena. Furthermore, each paint provides a different temperature coefficient depending on the polymer type.This study investigated experimental parameters to fabricate polymeric carbon nanocomposite hollow-fiber membranes with graphene oxide and multi-walled carbon nanotubes. Nifedipine (NF)-loaded poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and PLA/polyethylene glycol (PLA/PEG) microcapsules are synthesized using a high-speed agitator and a syringe pump with an oil-in-water emulsion-solvent evaporation technique to evaluate the effect of PLA/PEG ratio on morphology and drug release behavior of the capsules. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) results indicate that PEG reacts successfully with PLA due to the ether bond between PEG and PLA. The drug release rate of PLA and PLA/PEG capsules increases dramatically from 0 to 5 min and then reaches a plateau within 15 to 20 min. Due to the high specific surface area, the amount of NF released is raised by reducing the PLA concentration from 5 wt% to 2 wt%. Unlike PLA capsules, the drug release rate of PLA/PEG capsules increases due to the size effect by varying the PLA/PEG ratio from 10/0 to 6/4. Larger PLA/PEG capsules are attributed to higher amounts of encapsulated NF. METHODS Treatment-naïve patients received three preoperative cycles of S-1 (80-120 mg/day on days 1-14) and oxaliplatin (130 mg/m2 on day 1) and two cycles of apatinib (500 mg/day for 21 days) at 3-week intervals, followed by surgery. The primary end-point was pathologic response rate (pRR). This trial is registered at ChiCTR.gov.cn ChiCTR-OPC-16010061. RESULTS Of 29 patients included, median age was 60 (range, 43-73) years; 20 (69.0%) were male. The pRR was 89.7% (95% confidence interval [CI], 72.7%-97.8%; 26 of 29 patients; P less then 0.001) with 28 patients treated with surgery. All 29 patients were available for preoperative response evaluation, achieving an objective response rate of 79.3% (95% CI, 60.3%-92.0%) and a disease control rate of 96.6% (95% CI, 82.2%-99.9%). The margin-free resection rate was 96.6% (95% CI, 82.2%-99.9%). The pathologic complete response rate was 13.8% (95%CI, 1.2%-26.3%). Downstaging of overall TNM stage was observed in 16 (55.2%) patients. During neoadjuvant therapy, 10 (34.5%) patients had grade ≥III adverse events. No treatment-related death occurred. Surgery-related complications were observed in 12 of 28 (42.9%) patients. In this work, the nanocomplexes named as PB@PDA@Ag were used for eradicating multidrug-resistant bacteria and accelerating wound healing of MRSA-infected diabetic model with the assistance of laser irradiation. In vitro results revealed that the combinational strategy exerted a synergistic effect for anti-MRSA through disrupting cell integrity, producing ROS, declining ATP, and oxidizing GSH, comparing with PB@PDA@Ag or NIR laser irradiation alone. Moreover, in vivo assay demonstrated that this system effectively accelerated MRSA-infected diabetic wound healing by mitigating local inflammatory response and up-regulating VEGF expression on the wound bed. Meanwhile, satisfactory biocompatibility and negligible damage to major organs were observed. A young boy with segmental spinal dysgenesis presented with asymmetrical pyramidal paresis in all limbs. Developmental abnormities of the cervical spine caused a thinned spinal cord, and because of progressive spinal cord compression, surgical intervention by means of occipitothoracic fixation was indicated at the age of 3 yr.Because of the small-size pedicles and thin occipital bone, the pedicle screws and occipital plates were planned meticulously using 3D virtual surgical planning technology. The rods were virtually **** in order to properly align with the planned screws. By means of 3D-printed guides, the surgical plan was transferred to the operating theater. For the occipital bone, a novel guide concept was developed, aiming for screw positions at maximal bone thickness.
The postoperative course was uneventful, and radiographs showed good cervical alignment. After superimposing the virtual plan with the intraoperative acquired computed tomography, it was confirmed that the occipital plate positions matched the virtual plan and that pedicle screws were accurately inserted without signs of breach.

Developmental abnormities of the cervical spine caused a thinned spinal cord, and because of progressive spinal cord compression, surgical intervention by means of occipitothoracic fixation was indicated at the age of 3 yr.Because of the small-size pedicles and thin occipital bone, the pedicle screws and occipital plates were planned meticulously using 3D virtual surgical planning technology. The rods were virtually bent in order to properly align with the planned screws. By means of 3D-printed guides, the surgical plan was transferred to the operating theater. For the occipital bone, a novel guide concept was developed, aiming for screw positions at maximal bone thickness. The postoperative course was uneventful, and radiographs showed good cervical alignment. After superimposing the virtual plan with the intraoperative acquired computed tomography, it was confirmed that the occipital plate positions matched the virtual plan and that pedicle screws were accurately inserted without signs of breach. The purpose of this study was to examine the symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the adult clinical population using the Autism-Spectrum Quotient (AQ) and the Adult ADHD Rating Scales self-report screening version (CAARS-SSV).
We included 50 adults with ASD and 52 with ADHD diagnosed using the DSM-5 criteria. Clinical symptoms were evaluated using the AQ and CAARS-SSV.
The AQ score was elevated in the ADHD group and the CAARS scores were increased in the ASD group. Specifically, the total AQ score in adults with ADHD was lower than that in the ASD group, but was higher than that in controls. Similarly, the CAARS scores in adults with ASD were lower than in those with ADHD, but were higher than those in controls. No significant correlations were found between AQ, CAARS Inattention/Memory Problems, and CAARS Hyperactivity/Restlessness scores in both the ASD and ADHD groups.

This PBPK model was successfully validated to describe the observed plasma concentrations and clinical DDIs of zanubrutinib. Model predictions were generally within 1.5-fold of the observed clinical data. The PBPK model was used to predict untested clinical scenarios; these simulations indicated that strong, moderate, and mild CYP3A inhibitors may increase zanubrutinib exposures by approximately four-fold, two- to three-fold, and less then 1.5-fold, respectively. Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPSS) is an effective modality in reducing portal pressure, and its current main indications are for the management of recurrent ascites and variceal bleeding. The demand and indications for TIPSS are growing. However, it is a complicated and technically demanding procedure with poorer outcomes associated with low volume centres. The aim of this study was, therefore, to review the outcomes of TIPSS at a 'low volume' single centre. Outcomes assessed included indications, safety, efficacy and survival.
A retrospective study was undertaken of all patients who underwent a TIPSS procedure over 10years at tertiary referral centre for complex liver disease and transplantation. Kaplan-Meier method was used to calculate actuarial survival and log-rank analysis was used to determine significant differences in survival.
Thirty-eight patients underwent the TIPSS procedure between January 2008 and December 2018. Technical, haemodynamic and clinical success were 95%, 92% and 92% respectively.

Our variant-level analysis revealed a novel association between a rare missense variant in SPDL1 and IPF (NM_017785.5g.169588475 G > A p.Arg20Gln; p = 2.4 × 10-7, odds ratio = 2.87, 95% confidence interval 2.03-4.07). This signal was independently replicated in the FinnGen cohort, which contains 1028 cases and 196,986 controls (combined p = 2.2 × 10-20), firmly associating this variant as an IPF risk allele. SPDL1 encodes Spindly, a protein involved in mitotic checkpoint signalling during cell division that has not been previously described in fibrosis. In multivariable cross-sectional baseline analyses, only age and BMI were significantly associated with baseline short physical performance battery; age, sex, body mass index, NT-pro-BNP and 25-hydroxyvitamin D were significantly associated with baseline six-minute walk distance. No significant associations were found between biochemical markers and change in physical performance over time, except between baseline 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentration and change in six-minute walk distance.

In this prospective study, we enrolled 325 septic patients (41% with shock), not mechanically ventilated, between October, 2012 and June, 2019 among those admitted to our High-Dependency Unit. By echocardiography within 24 h from the admission, sepsis-induced myocardial dysfunction (SIMD) was defined as left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction (speckle-tracking-based global longitudinal peak systolic strain, GLS, > - 14%) and/or right ventricular (RV) systolic dysfunction (Tricuspid Annular Plane Systolic Excursion, TAPSE 0.1 ng/mL. Mortality was assessed at day-7 and day-28 end-points. One-hundred and forty-two patients had normal Troponin level at T0 and T1 (G1), 69 had abnormal levels at T0 or T1 (G2) and 114 showed abnormal Troponin levels at both T0 and T1 (G3). Compared to G1, patients in G3 had worse LV and RV systolic function (GLS - 11.6 ± 3.4% vs - 14.0 ± 3.5%, p less then 0.001; TAPSE 18 ± 0.5 vs 19 ± 0.5 mm, p = 0.047) and greater day-28 (34% vs 20%, p = 0.015) mortality. The field of multiple myeloma treatment has entered a new era with antibody-based approaches in clinical practice. In this review, we focus on the clinical approaches of utilizing antibody-based modality, specifically monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and bispecific T-cell antibodies in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
Three monoclonal antibodies (daratumumab, isatuximab, elotuzumab) and one anti-BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen) antibody-drug conjugate (belantamab mafodotin) have been approved by the FDA in the last 5 years for the treatment of multiple myeloma. There are many ongoing clinical trials using novel targets and constructs, including bispecific antibodies against BCMA, GPRC5D, and FCRH5. In addition to exploring efficacy, there are ongoing efforts to overcome the resistance to therapy. Antibody-based therapy has improved the outcomes of patients with multiple myeloma and has been incorporated in the standard of care. We expect to see novel targets and constructs that can achieicity management for existing agents. We also expect that antibody-based strategies will be used in earlier lines of therapy in the future.Since child maltreatment has highly negative effects on child adjustment, early identification of at-risk families is important. This study focuses on longitudinal risk factors for child maltreatment and associations between abuse risk and occurrence. It also examines whether abuse risk and involvement in early childhood intervention are associated. The sample comprises 197 German caregivers with children under 3 years of age. Data was collected in two waves. The Brief Child Abuse Potential Inventory assessed abuse risk. Socio-demographic, parent, child and family-related risk factors were measured using screening tools. The analysis revealed that parental characteristics (psychopathology, own maltreatment experiences etc.) were associated with concurrent abuse risk. Longitudinal changes in abuse risk were linked to caregiver education and child-related factors. Cumulative risk did not explain more variance than specific risk factors. Significant associations with caregiver-reported abuse were found, and data suggest that some burdened families cannot be reached by early childhood intervention.

Thermal burns of the oral cavity usually arise from ingestion of hot foods or beverages. A 38-year-old female patient presented with two painful ulcerative erythematous patches of the palate. The patient was consulted on the same day lesions appeared. Medical history was unremarkable. Clinically significant self-inflicted injuries may result in wide ulcers in the mouth and usually do not take less than 2 weeks to heal, whereas our patient, treated with low-level laser therapy, had a complete response in day 4, after 2 days of treatment. The fact that multiple lesions were present signaled against the World Health Organization exclusion diagnosis of erythroplakia for red patches. A traumatic ulcer, regardless of its cause of origin, usually heals within 2 weeks, after the source of injury is resolved. A thermal burn in the oral cavity usually takes longer than that to heal, but whenever this time frame is not respected, the suspicion of a potentially malignant disorder should always arise, and a biopsy should be performed. Considering that the pandemic prolonged more than initially expected was prognostic, it is essential for the medical community to identify the signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Thus, this work's objectives were to present cases of cutaneous lesions observed in COVID-19 Mexican patients. We register cutaneous lesions in COVID-19 patients referred from internal medicine and otorhinolaryngology services to dermatology. We presented four interesting cases with cutaneous lesions, including exanthema morbilliform, urticaria, chilblains, ecchymosis, and facial edema, and review the available literature. The most frequent cutaneous markers are rash, chilblains, and urticaria. Skin lesions may be the first manifestation of COVID-19, accompany initial respiratory symptoms, or appear during the disease course. Symptoms associated with vascular changes (livedo reticularis and vasculitis) are considered of poor prognosis.Immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy nowadays became a treatment for a wide range of cancers, and may be responsible for various dermatologic adverse effects, including bullous eruptions. In our report, we present a case of late-onset immunotherapy-induced eruption in a 62-year-old woman treated with anti-programmed cell death-L1 agent durvalumab for metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. Diagnosed as lichenoid dermatitis upon initial presentation, this eruption evolved into necrotic bullous dermatitis after several weeks of phototherapy, with histology and direct immunofluorescence study favoring lichen planus pemphigoides. Thus, this case may be regarded as durvalumab-induced lichenoid dermatitis with phototherapy-triggered progression to necrotic lichen planus pemphigoides-like eruption. The patient's eruption responded to oral prednisone and immunotherapy interruption. Interestingly, durvalumab reintroduction in this patient led to recurrent lichenoid dermatitis without bullous component. This case of immunotherapy skin toxicity is rather distinctive by its clinical and histopathologic features, with phototherapy as an additional triggering factor.
Endemic human coronaviruses (hCoVs) circulate worldwide but cause minimal mortality. Although seroconversion to hCoV is near ubiquitous during childhood, little is known about hCoV-specific T-cell memory in adults.
We quantified CD4 T-cell and antibody responses to hCoV spike antigens in 42 SARS-CoV-2-uninfected individuals. Antigen-specific memory T cells and circulating T follicular helper (cTFH) cells were identified using an activation-induced marker assay and characterised for memory phenotype and chemokine receptor expression.
T-cell responses were widespread within conventional memory and cTFH compartments but did not correlate with IgG titres. SARS-CoV-2 cross-reactive T cells were observed in 48% of participants and correlated with HKU1 memory. hCoV-specific T cells exhibited a CCR6
central memory phenotype in the blood, but were enriched for frequency and CXCR3 expression in human lung-draining lymph nodes.
Overall, hCoV-specific humoral and cellular memory are independently maintained, with a shared phenotype existing among coronavirus-specific CD4 T cells. This understanding of endemic coronavirus immunity provides insight into the homeostatic maintenance of immune responses that are likely to be critical components of protection against SARS-CoV-2.
