Methods A field experiment was conducted between 2009 and 2017 to analyze the influence of amendments addition to saline-sodic soils on rice growth and yield. Rice was grown in the soil with no amendment (CK), with desulfurization gypsum (DG), with sandy soil (SS), with farmyard manure (FM) and with the mixture of above amendments (M). The osmotic potential in soil solution, selective absorption of K+ over Na+ (SA), selective transport of K+ over Na+ (ST), the distribution of K+ and Na+and yield components in rice plants were investigated. Results The results indicated that amendments application have positive effects on rice yield. The M treatment was the best among the tested amendments with the highest rice grain yield. M treatment increased the OPss values significantly to relieve the inhibition of the water uptake by plants. Additionally, the M treatment significantly enhanced K+ concentration and impeded Na+ accumulation in shoots. SA values were reduced while ST values were increased for all amendments. In the IBM the distance between opposite sexes was significantly reduced by MTF behavior; however, the difference in distances between opposite sex compared to same sex individuals was only several centimeters. Simple population genetic models indicated that the aggregating effect of MTF between the opposite sex members could be an evolutionary driving force. An integrated model of timing, which states that the perceived duration of a given stimulus is based on the efficiency of information extraction, was recently set forth to improve current understanding of the representation and judgment of time. However, the prediction from this model that more efficient information extraction results in longer perceived duration has not been tested. Thus, the aim of this study is to investigate whether sports experts, as a group of individuals with information extraction superiority in situations relevant to their sport skill, have longer duration perceptions when they view expertise-related stimuli compared with others with no expertise/experience. Methods For this study, 81 subjects were recruited based on a prior power analysis. The sports experts group had 27 athletes with years of professional training in diving; a wrestler group and a nonathlete group, with each of these groups having 27 subjects, were used as controls. All participants completed a classic duration reproduction task for subsecond and suprasecond durations with both the diving images and general images involved. Results The divers reproduced longer durations for diving stimuli compared with general stimuli under both subsecond and suprasecond time ranges, while the other samples showed the opposite pattern. Furthermore, the years of training in diving were positively correlated with the magnitude of the prolonged reproduction duration when divers viewed diving stimuli. Moreover, the diver group showed a more precise duration perception in subsecond time range for general stimuli compared with the wrestlers and nonathletes. Conclusion The results suggest that sports experts perceive longer duration when viewing expertise-related stimuli compared with others with no expertise/experience. ©2020 Jia et al.

  • Myocardial infarction leads to a rapid innate immune response that is ultimately required for repair of damaged heart tissue. We therefore examined circulating monocyte dynamics immediately after reperfusion of the culprit coronary vessel in STEMI patients to determine whether this correlated with level of cardiac injury. A mouse model of cardiac ischemia/reperfusion injury was subsequently used to establish the degree of monocyte margination to the coronary vasculature that could potentially contribute to the drop in circulating monocytes. We retrospectively analyzed blood samples from 51 STEMI patients to assess the number of non-classical (NC), classical, and intermediate monocytes immediately following primary percutaneous coronary intervention. Classical and intermediate monocytes showed minimal change. On the other hand, circulating numbers of NC monocytes fell by approximately 50% at 90 minutes post-reperfusion. This rapid decrease in NC monocytes was greatest in patients with the largest infarct size (P less then .05) and correlated inversely with left ventricular function (r = 0.41, P = .04). The early fall in NC monocytes post-reperfusion was confirmed in a second prospective study of 13 STEMI patients. Furthermore, in a mouse cardiac ischemia model, there was significant monocyte adhesion to coronary vessel endothelium at 2 hours post-reperfusion pointing to a specific and rapid vessel margination response to cardiac injury. In conclusion, rapid depletion of NC monocytes from the circulation in STEMI patients following coronary artery reperfusion correlates with the level of acute cardiac injury and involves rapid margination to the coronary vasculature.Methoxylated aromatic compounds (****) are important components of lignin found in significant amounts in the subsurface. After a molecular survey, we found that the hyperthermophilic non-methanogenic archaeon Archaeoglobus fulgidus also encodes genes for a bacterial-like demethoxylation system. In this study, we performed growth and metabolite analysis, and used transcriptomics to investigate the response of A. fulgidus during growth on **** in comparison to growth on lactate. We observed that A. fulgidus converts **** to their hydroxylated derivatives with CO2 as the main product and sulfate as electron acceptor. Furthermore, we could show that **** improve the growth of A. fulgidus in the presence of organic substrates such as lactate. We also found evidence that other archaea such as Bathyarchaeota, Lokiarchaeota, Verstraetearchaeota, Korarchaeota, Helarchaeota and Nezhaarchaeota encode a demethoxylation system. In summary, we here describe the first non-methanogenic archaeon with the ability to grow on **** indicating that methoxydotrophic archaea might play a so far underestimated role in the global carbon cycle.The emission rate of carbon dioxide (CO2 ) depends on many factors but mainly on the activity level (metabolic rate) of occupants. The results indicate a higher CO2 emission rate at the higher temperature, at which the subjects were warm, and a lower emission rate in all conditions in which the background CO2 concentration increased. To further explore the underlying mechanisms that CIDEC facilitated collagen syntheses in vitro, insulin-resistant cardiac fibroblast (CF) model was induced by high glucose (15.5 mmol/L) and high insulin (104 μU/mL). We observed that insulin-resistant stimulation dramatically raised CIDEC expression and promoted CIDEC nuclear translocation in CFs. Meanwhile, AMPKα2 was observed to distribute almost completely inside CF nucleus. The results further proved that CIDEC biochemically interacted and co-localized with AMPKα2 rather than AMPKα1 in CF nucleus, which provided a novel mechanism of CIDEC in promoting collagen syntheses. This study suggested that CIDEC gene silencing alleviates DCM via AMPKα signaling both in vivo and in vitro, implicating CIDEC may be a promising target for treatment of human DCM.
    In Japan, screening colonoscopy for colorectal cancer is expected to reduce colorectal cancer mortality, although its complication rate has not been sufficiently examined. The aim of this study is to analyze severe complications due to colonoscopy.

    As a study population, we retrospectively used commercially anonymized health insurance claims data covering 5.71 million patients from January 2005 to August 2018. We extracted patients who received colonoscopy with lesions resection or without treatment. Main outcomes were rates of hemorrhage, perforation, fatal events, and their risk factors.

    Among 341852 colonoscopy without treatment in 260128 patients (mean age 49.6±11.7years), the rates of hemorrhage, perforation, and fatal events were 0.0059% (95% confidence interval [CI] 0.0031-0.0085), 0.0032% (95% CI 0.0011-0.0052), and 0.00029% (95% CI 0-0.0012), respectively. Regarding hemorrhage, compared with the rate for patients <50years old (0.0050%), the rates for those 50-59, 60-69, and ≥70years old were 0.

    Cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death after kidney transplantation. Coronary artery disease (***) assessment is therefore mandatory in patients evaluated for transplantation. We aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy for *** of single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) compared to the standards invasive coronary angiography (ICA) and coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) in patients evaluated for kidney transplantation.

    We performed a systematic literature search in PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, OvidSP (Medline), The Cochrane Library and Google Scholar. Studies investigating the diagnostic accuracy of myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) SPECT in patients evaluated for kidney transplantation were retrieved. After a risk of bias assessment using QUADAS-2, a meta-analysis was conducted.

    Out of 1459 records, 13 MPI SPECT studies were included in the meta-analysis with a total of 1245 MPI SPECT scans. There were no studies available with CCTA as reference. Pooled sensitivity of MPI SPECT for *** was 0.66 (95% CI 0.53 to 0.77), pooled specificity was 0.75 (95% CI 0.63 to 0.84) and the area under the curve (AUC) was 0.76. Positive likelihood ratio was 2.50 (95% CI 1.78 to 3.51) and negative likelihood ratio was 0.41 (95% CI 0.28 to 0.61). Pooled positive predictive value was 64.9% and pooled negative predictive value was 74.1%. Significant heterogeneity existed across the included studies.

    216 consecutive patients with Single Photon Emission Computerized Tomography myocardial perfusion imaging and no angiographically significant obstructive coronary artery disease were identified. All upright and supine SPECT images as well as coronary angiograms were reviewed and analyzed in blinded fashion.

    In women imaged upright, more visual false positive defects were noted in the inferior wall compared to the anterior wall (26 vs. 10 at rest, p = 0.006, and 33 vs. 13 at stress, p < 0.001). Visual inferior wall defects were more common in the upright than supine position at stress (33 vs. 23, p = 0.018) and rest (26 vs. 14, p = 0.011), and most apparent in non-obese women (13 vs. 8, at stress, p = 0.059 and 11 vs. 5, at rest, p = 0.014).

Cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death after kidney transplantation. Coronary artery disease (CAD) assessment is therefore mandatory in patients evaluated for transplantation. We aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy for CAD of single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) compared to the standards invasive coronary angiography (ICA) and coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) in patients evaluated for kidney transplantation. We performed a systematic literature search in PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, OvidSP (Medline), The Cochrane Library and Google Scholar. Studies investigating the diagnostic accuracy of myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) SPECT in patients evaluated for kidney transplantation were retrieved. After a risk of bias assessment using QUADAS-2, a meta-analysis was conducted. Out of 1459 records, 13 MPI SPECT studies were included in the meta-analysis with a total of 1245 MPI SPECT scans. There were no studies available with CCTA as reference. Pooled sensitivity of MPI SPECT for CAD was 0.66 (95% CI 0.53 to 0.77), pooled specificity was 0.75 (95% CI 0.63 to 0.84) and the area under the curve (AUC) was 0.76. Positive likelihood ratio was 2.50 (95% CI 1.78 to 3.51) and negative likelihood ratio was 0.41 (95% CI 0.28 to 0.61). The micropollutants found in the river were not detected at the reference site upstream of the city, except for caffeine, which was present at low concentrations in the reference site. Additionally, a nontarget screening of the river samples was applied, which resulted in the identification of 116 chemicals, most of which were pharmaceuticals.

    Xiphodynia is a rare musculoskeletal disorder characterized by pain at the lower anterior chest or epigastric region. Treatment options include oral analgesics, local injection with analgesic or laser therapy. Yet, these often provide only short-term symptom relieve. A definite reduction in pain sensation might be achieved by performing a xiphoidectomy, though studies on its safety and efficacy are scarce. In the current single-centre study the outcomes of xiphoidectomy for xiphodynia are retrospectively assessed.

    All patients undergoing xiphoidectomy for xiphodynia between April 2013 and February 2020 at Zuyderland Medical Centre, Heerlen, the Netherlands, were included in this case series. Pain scores using the Numeric Rating Scale were assessed preoperatively and postoperatively and submitted to the Wilcoxon signed rank test. A clinically significant improvement was defined as a 2-point decrease in Numeric Rating Scale score. In addition, surgical outcomes, including complications and duration of surgery were extracted from the patient records.

    A total of 19 patients underwent xiphoidectomy for xiphodynia. The follow-up ranged from 1 to 83 months. Seventeen out of 19 patients showed a clinically relevant improvement in Numeric Rating Scale pain scores where the overall pain scores also revealed a statistically significant decrease from 8 (interquartile range, 7-8) to 0 (interquartile range, 0-0; P<0.001) after surgery. Median procedure time was 29 minutes (interquartile range, 24-38 minutes) and no postoperative complications occurred.

    This meta-analysis was conducted to compare the procedural and early outcomes of aortic valve replacement (AVR) using rapid deployment valve (RD group) versus sutureless valve (SU group).

    A literature search of 5 online databases was conducted. The primary outcomes were mean transvalvular pressure gradient (MPG) after AVR, the incidence of paravalvular leak (PVL) and the need for a permanent pacemaker implantation (PPI). The secondary outcomes included aortic cross-clamp (ACC) and cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) times, early mortality and other postoperative complications, such as atrial fibrillation, bleeding reoperation and stroke.

    Eight articles were included, and all outcomes except MPG after AVR in matched valve sizes were extracted from 7 studies (RD group =842 patients and SU group =1,386 patients). The pooled analysis demonstrated a lower MPG in the RD group than in the SU group, with mean difference (MD) of 2.64 mmHg. All patients undergoing xiphoidectomy for xiphodynia between April 2013 and February 2020 at Zuyderland Medical Centre, Heerlen, the Netherlands, were included in this case series. Pain scores using the Numeric Rating Scale were assessed preoperatively and postoperatively and submitted to the Wilcoxon signed rank test. A clinically significant improvement was defined as a 2-point decrease in Numeric Rating Scale score. In addition, surgical outcomes, including complications and duration of surgery were extracted from the patient records. A total of 19 patients underwent xiphoidectomy for xiphodynia. The follow-up ranged from 1 to 83 months. Seventeen out of 19 patients showed a clinically relevant improvement in Numeric Rating Scale pain scores where the overall pain scores also revealed a statistically significant decrease from 8 (interquartile range, 7-8) to 0 (interquartile range, 0-0; P<0.001) after surgery. This meta-analysis was conducted to compare the procedural and early outcomes of aortic valve replacement (AVR) using rapid deployment valve (RD group) versus sutureless valve (SU group). A literature search of 5 online databases was conducted. The primary outcomes were mean transvalvular pressure gradient (MPG) after AVR, the incidence of paravalvular leak (PVL) and the need for a permanent pacemaker implantation (PPI). The secondary outcomes included aortic cross-clamp (ACC) and cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) times, early mortality and other postoperative complications, such as atrial fibrillation, bleeding reoperation and stroke. Data from patients pathologically staged as IA-IIA who underwent radical surgery and confirmed as lacking LN metastases from January 2008 to March 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to determine the overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS). After propensity score matching (PSM), a Cox model was used to determine the prognostic factors. Of the 1,935 patients investigated, the median number of N1 stations examined was 3.   • Understanding place-based contributors to health requires geographically and culturally diverse study populations, but sharing location data is a significant challenge to multisite studies. Here, we describe a standardized and reproducible method to perform geospatial analyses for multisite studies. Using census tract-level information, we created software for geocoding and geospatial data linkage that was distributed to a consortium of birth cohorts located throughout the USA. Individual sites performed geospatial linkages and returned tract-level information for 8810 children to a central site for analyses. Our generalizable approach demonstrates the feasibility of geospatial analyses across study sites to promote collaborative translational research.
    Community engagement is important for advancing Clinical and Translational Science (CTS), but face-to-face engagement has limited reach and scale. We examined the feasibility of a novel virtual Facebook community platform for public engagement on health research statewide in Minnesota.

    The Facebook platform,
    , was evaluated from June 19, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Facebook advertisements and boosts were used to recruit followers. Content, based on prior formative work, included health research information and interactive postings (e.g., live interviews with researchers). Standard metrics obtained from Facebook analytics included participation (followers), content reach (views), and engagement (likes, shares, comments, clicks).

    During the 12-month period, we acquired 1406 followers (31% rural residents), with a retention of followers of 99.7%. Mean number of views per month was 9379.83 (Mdn = 2791, range 724-41,510). Engagement metrics indicated a mean of 535.2 likes, shares, comments, and/or clicks per momportance. Preliminary findings from this program evaluation indicate that a Facebook community platform is feasible to engage Minnesota residents in conversations around health and research topics. Future work will evaluate its potential for reach, scale, and sustainability.The Motivation Assessment for Team Readiness, Integration, and Collaboration (MATRICx) is a psychometric instrument that measures individual motivation for collaboration. It was validated using Rasch Analysis to create an indicator hierarchy on two dimensions cooperation and collaboration. Six domains provide the basis for the tool to identify team member readiness for collaboration and a means by which to understand motivational strengths in a team based on degree of past self-reported experience. This brief report provides an overview of the development of the tool, how science teams may use it, and how to interpret results to advance team member readiness for greater collaboration. The paper also draws attention to ongoing work in progress to develop learning interventions to accompany the MATRICx instrument.Leadership is an essential competency for clinicians; however, these skills are not a standard part of health professionals' education and training. Access to resources (time, money) is frequently cited as a barrier for clinicians to participate in leadership development programs. We aimed to tackle this barrier within postgraduate health professions education and training through establishing an online e-Leadership Academy. The e-Leadership Academy was developed as a community-academic partnership between Clinical Directors Network, Inc. (CDN) and the Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care to train clinicians and healthcare staff in the fundamental concepts and skills for leading within a clinical practice. For this article, the primary outcome analysis examined participants' responses to both formative and summative evaluations that took place throughout and at the end of the course. Results were used to assess course quality, participant satisfaction, participant engagement, and provide recommendations about future course offerings for a similar audience. The authors propose that future training programs could measure the changes in team behavior and clinical outcomes using expanded evaluations. Proposed plans for expansion of the e-Leadership Academy include developing additional modules, virtual coaching and mentoring, and the potential integration of an in-person component.Availability of trained professionals to assist researchers navigating regulatory pathways for new drug and device development is limited within academic institutions. We created ReGARDD (Regulatory Guidance for Academic Research of Drugs and Devices), a regional forum initially involving regulatory professionals from four Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA)-funded institutions, to build and capitalize on local expertise and to develop a regulatory guidance website geared toward academic researchers. Since 2015, members organized 15 forums covering topics such as FDA premarket submissions, gene therapy, and intellectual property for devices and therapeutics. Through user feedback, targeted surveys, and ongoing iterative processes, we refined and maintained a shared regulatory website, which reached 6000+ users in 2019. Website updates improved navigation to drug versus device topic areas, provided new educational content and videos to address commonly asked questions, and created a portal for posting upcoming training opportunities. Survey respondents rated the website favorably and endorsed expanding ReGARDD as a centralized resource. ReGARDD strengthened the regional regulatory workforce, increased regulatory efficiency, and promulgated best organizational and operational practices. Broad-scale deployment of the ReGARDD model across the CTSA consortium may facilitate the creation of a network of regional forums and reduce gaps in access to regulatory support.The success rate for translation of newly engineered medical technologies into clinical practice is low. After the patient had 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 Hz of intermittent photic stimulation (IPS), her seizures and epileptic discharges reduced or stopped. Seven min after giving stimulation at 20 Hz, the child developed an occipital-initiated tonic-clonic seizure, which demonstrated that after sufficient IPS stimulation, the occiput cortex became excited and initiated a brain network, leading to diffuse brain discharge and tonic-clonic seizures. After the patient had 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 Hz of intermittent photic stimulation (IPS), her seizures and epileptic discharges reduced or stopped. Seven min after giving stimulation at 20 Hz, the child developed an occipital-initiated tonic-clonic seizure, which demonstrated that after sufficient IPS stimulation, the occiput cortex became excited and initiated a brain network, leading to diffuse brain discharge and tonic-clonic seizures. At 1 h after onset, the child developed a nonconvulsive state, with impairment of consciousness despite no eyelid myoclonic movements, and VEEG suggested a large number of epileptic discharges. After 10 min of administrating midazolam, the patient's EEG immediately became normal, and the patient regained consciousness. Therefore, this paper presents an eyelid myoclonus status patient with occipital origin seizure, we recorded the whole course of the disease and the treatment effect, and reviewed the literature accordingly.

In this perspective, we discuss our current understanding of the aqueous-phase decomposition of atmospherically relevant ROOHs, including ROOHs derived from reaction between Criegee intermediates and alcohols or carboxylic acids, and of highly oxygenated molecules (HOMs). Implications and future challenges are also discussed.A simple but approximate algorithm is described for computing second virial coefficients based on equilibrated molecular configurations that may be generated during any Monte Carlo or molecular dynamics simulation. The algorithm uses simple quadrature based on sampling every binary pair in the configuration and moving their center-center distances from zero to infinity. Comparisons are made in the literature results using more sophisticated sampling and integration for n-alkanes of ethane through n-dodecane. Accuracy is within the error bars determined by block averaging, and temperature effects can be inferred using a single configurational temperature, including perturbative virial coefficients. Predictably, the accuracy is best at the configurational temperature and when the configurational density is lowest. More notably, good accuracy is achieved from configurations at intermediate densities, and the trend at high density conveys valuable insight about conformational changes. Sustained increases in [Ca2+]i were seen in both cell types with DCA exposure; this was unaffected by UBO-QIC, indicating that TGR5 activation was not involved. Exposure to UDCA did not alter [Ca2+]i, suggesting a lack of TGR5 bioactivity. These findings demonstrated that both scymnol and scymnol sulfate are novel agonists of TGR5 receptors, showing therapeutic potential for treating atherosclerosis.

  • A pragmatic approach that sets therapeutic goals for each individual and associates them with the treatable traits of asthma which, when therapeutically targeted, will in many cases help to achieve the goals, seems more reasonable than the present stepping approach.Purpose To describe the different phenotypes of syphilitic chorioretinitis (SCR) and its clinical features in multimodal imaging (MI).Methods Complete ophthalmological examination and MI including spectral domain optic coherence tomography (SD-OCT), fundus autofluorescence (FAF) and fluorescein angiography (FA) were performed at diagnosis and during follow-up in patients diagnosed with SCR.Results 17 eyes of 10 patients were included. Clinical phenotypes included acute syphilitic posterior placoid chorioretinopathy (ASPPC), syphilitic outer retinitis (SOR) and punctate inner retinitis (PIR). Disruption of outer retinal layers were visible in all patients in SD-OCT. Inner retinal layers were only affected in PIR. FAF revealed macular hyperautofluorescence in all patients. FA showed maintained hyperfluorescence in ASPPC and SOR.Conclusions ASPPC, SOR and PIR are different phenotypes of syphilitic chorioretinitis and present common features in SD-OCT and FAF. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/simufilam.html MI provides useful information to help the clinician during diagnosis and follow-up of these entities.
    Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for pulmonary tumors. Patterns on chest computed tomography (CT) after RFA are classified into five types; however, the follow-up has not been fully described. The objectives of this study were to describe (1) the CT pattern 3 years after RFA and (2) its evolution over 7 years.

    Lesions treated with RFA between 2009 and 2017 and with ≥3 years of follow-up CT data were included. Lesions with local recurrences were excluded from the study. The morphology of the ablation zone was classified as nodular, fibrotic, atelectatic, cavitary, and disappeared. Other initial anatomical parameters were recorded. Kruskal-Wallis or Chi-square tests were used to compare the groups.

    One hundred lung RFA scars were included, and a retrospective longitudinal study was performed. Three years after RFA, nodular, fibrotic, atelectatic, and cavitary scars, and disappearance were observed in 49%, 36%, 5%, 3%, and 6% of the scars, respectively. Evolution over 7 years showed that the fibrosis, atelectasis, and disappearance remained stable over time, whereas 28% of nodular scars evolved into fibrotic scars. Additionally, 45% of cavitary scars evolved into nodular scars. Pleural contact was associated with disappearance, and the use of a 20-mm needle was associated with atelectasis.

    Related to the hearing health journey, this study aimed to (i) explore how empowerment manifests itself from individuals' first awareness of hearing loss through to hearing aid fitting and then to becoming an active hearing aid user, (ii) identify points when the different dimensions of empowerment are most relevant, and (iii) conceptualise empowerment.

    A semi-structured interview study was conducted, followed by a template analysis of the data.

    Adult hearing aid users from Sweden (
     = 8) and Australia (
     = 10) who had worn hearing aids for between 6 and 36 months.

    The themes that emerged from the transcripts were knowledge, skills and strategies, participation, self-efficacy, and control.

However, there is little information about the fatigue associated to this modality. In a crossover design, acute responses of two volume-equated sessions (1000-m) were compared on 14 national swimmers i) USRPT 20×50-m; ii) RPT 10×100-m. Both protocols followed an equivalent work-recovery ratio (11) based on individual 200-m race-pace. The swimming times and the arm-strokes count were monitored on each set and compared by mixed-models. Blood lactate [La-] and countermovement jump-height (CMJ) were compared within and between conditions 2 and 5 min after the protocols. The last bouts in RPT were 1.5-3% slower than the target pace, entailing an arm-strokes increase of ~0.22 for every second increase in swimming time. USRPT produced lower [La-] ([Mean ± standard deviation], 2 min 8.2±2.4 [p = 0.021]; 5 min 6.9±2.8 mM/L [p = 0.008]), than RPT (2 min 10.9±2.3; 5 min 9.9±2.4 mM/L). CMJ was lowered at min 2 after RPT (-11.09%) and USRPT (-5.89%), but returned to baseline in USRPT at min 5 of recovery (4.07%). In conclusion, lower fatigue and better recovery were achieved during USRPT compared to traditional high-volume set.Objectives. CYB as currently defined was present in just 1.3% of the combined patients' sample. Using a broader definition (omitting the disability criterion), we found a higher distribution (OCD12%, ADs19.2%, MDD15.4%, HCs3.7%) and greater CYB symptom severity. Patients with OCD (63.3 ± 18.9) and ADs (63.3 ± 25.9) showed a higher CYB severity, compared with HCs (48.4 ± 9.9, p less then .05). In the combined patients' sample, a positive correlation was found between the CSS scores and measures of health anxiety or hypochondriasis.
