Inorganic perovskite CsPbBr3 has broad application prospects in photovoltaic windows, tandem cells, and other fields due to its intrinsic semitransparency, excellent photoelectric properties, and stability. In this work, a high-quality semitransparent CsPbBr3 film was prepared by a sequential vacuum evaporation deposition method without high-temperature annealing and successfully used as the active layer of flexible perovskite solar cells (F-PSCs) for the first time, achieving a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.00%. By introducing an energy-level buffer layer of Cu2O between CsPbBr3 and Spiro-OMeTAD, the champion PCE has been further improved to 5.67% owing to the reduction of electron-hole recombination and enhanced charge extraction. The optimized devices present higher stability, which can maintain more than 95% of the initial efficiency even after continuous heating at 85 °C for 240 h. In this work, we investigate the magnetoelectrical signals of a ferromagnetic 3D nanodevice integrated into a microelectronic circuit using direct-write nanofabrication. Due to the 3D vectorial nature of both electrical current and magnetization, a complex superposition of several magnetoelectrical effects takes place. By performing electrical measurements under the application of 3D magnetic fields, in combination with macrospin simulations and finite element modeling, we disentangle the superimposed effects, finding how a 3D geometry leads to unusual angular dependences of well-known magnetotransport effects such as the anomalous Hall effect. Crucially, our analysis also reveals a strong role of the noncollinear demagnetizing fields intrinsic to 3D nanostructures, which results in an angular dependent magnon magnetoresistance contributing strongly to the total magnetoelectrical signal. Here, we provided genetic evidence to validate that this Tn7 integration is dependent on a conserved 30-bp motif in the glms, called an attTn7 box, and artificial attTn7 boxes elsewhere are competent for the Tn7 integration, which is further confirmed to be simultaneous downstream of both original and artificial attTn7 boxes, using PCR. With the whole-genome resequencing on 500 Tn7-colonies, the Tn7 integration was confirmed to be site- specific at 25 bp downstream of glms with monocopy as a chromosome of the RSSC. Management of clubroot is challenging, largely because of the millions of resting spores produced within an infected root that can survive dormant in the soil for many years. This study was conducted to investigate some of the environmental conditions that may affect the survival of resting spores in the soil. Soil samples containing clubroot resting spores (1 × 107 spores/g soil) were stored at various temperatures for 2 years. Additionally, other samples were buried in soil or kept on the soil surface in the field. The content of P. brassicae DNA and the numbers of viable spores in the samples were assessed by quantitative PCR (qPCR) and pathogenicity bioassays, respectively. The results indicated that 4°C, 20°C, and being buried in the soil were more conductive conditions for spore survival than -20°C, 30°C, and at the soil surface. Most (99.99%) of the spores kept on the soil surface were nonviable, suggesting a negative effect of light on spore viability. Additional experiments confirmed the negative effect of ultraviolet light on spore viability because spores receiving 2 and 3 h ultraviolet light exhibited lower disease potential and contained less DNA content than the nontreated control. Finally, this work confirmed that DNA-based quantification methods such as qPCR can be poor predictors of P. brassicae disease potential because of the presence and persistence of DNA from dead spores.In Brazil, Gibberella ear rot (GER) of maize is caused mainly by Fusarium meridionale, whereas F. graminearum is a minor contributor. Treatments consisted of F. graminearum or F. meridionale (two isolates of each) inoculated once 4 days after silk, inoculated sequentially and alternately (F. graminearum → F. meridionale or F. meridionale → F. graminearum) 6 days apart, or (in the central-south) inoculated sequentially without alternating species (F. meridionale → F. meridionale or F. graminearum → F. graminearum). Overall, severity was two times greater in the south (37.0%), where summer temperatures were warmer (20 to 25°C) than in central-south. In the south, severity was greatest in F. meridionale treatments (67.8%); followed by F. meridionale → F. graminearum (41.1%), then F. graminearum → F. meridionale (19.4%), and lowest in F. graminearum (2.1%), suggesting an antagonistic relationship. In this study, we propose an advanced deep reinforcement resource allocation and security-aware data offloading model that considers the constrained computation and radio resources of industrial IoT devices to guarantee efficient sharing of resources between multiple users. This model is formulated as an optimization problem with the goal of decreasing energy consumption and computation delay. This type of problem is non-deterministic polynomial time-hard due to the curse-of-dimensionality challenge, thus, a deep learning optimization approach is presented to find an optimal solution. In addition, a 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard-based cryptographic approach is proposed to satisfy the data security requirements. Experimental evaluation results show that the proposed model can reduce offloading overhead in terms of energy and time by up to 64.7% in comparison with the local execution approach. It also outperforms the full offloading scenario by up to 13.2%, where it can select some computation tasks to be offloaded while optimally rejecting others. Finally, it is adaptable and scalable for a large number of mobile devices.

She developed blisters and pustules that rapidly evolved into abscesses and red lesions over the course of several months. Her wounds also deteriorated despite topical therapy that occurred in a context of recurring use of cocaine. CONCLUSIONS Our experience with these cases suggests that WOC nurses should consider levamisole-induced vasculitis in all patients presenting with unexplained vasculitis-type lesions, and particularly when these lesions occur in the context of known or suspected use of illicit substances such as cocaine. Given the absence of clinical guidelines for this increasingly prevalent condition, we recommend wound care based on principles of moist wound healing, combined with judicious use of therapies with antimicrobial activity and nonadherent dressings to reduce pain. Finally, we strongly recommend that care of these patients occurs as one part of a multidisciplinary care approach that focuses on cessation of the use of cocaine and all other illicit substances.PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of an mHealth application (app), self-management physical activity intervention FOOTFIT with an added patient-provider connectivity feature (FOOTFIT+), that was designed to strengthen the lower extremities of minimally ambulatory individuals with venous leg ulcers (VLUs). DESIGN Randomized controlled trial. SUBJECTS AND SETTING Twenty-four adults 18 years and older with VLUs being treated in 2 wound clinics in the Southeastern United States participated in this study. METHODS Preliminary estimates and 95% confidence intervals for the medians of short-term functional impacts on foot function, strength, ankle range of motion, walking capacity, depression, and physical functioning were obtained pre- and postassessment after the 6-week intervention trial. RESULTS There were negligible changes in either group for foot function. It is noted that both groups experienced substantial foot and ankle impairment at baseline. The greatest improvement in range of motion was noted in the FOOTFIT group for dorsiflexion of the right ankle (4.6 ± 5.22 lb/in over baseline) whereas strength decreased in both ankles for dorsiflexion and plantar flexion in the FOOTFIT+ group. No improvements were noted in walking distance or physical health for FOOTFIT (slight decrease -2.9 ± 5.6) and FOOTFIT+ (slight increase 3.0 ± 6.6) during the 6-week study period. CONCLUSIONS In a minimally ambulatory population with VLUs, our mHealth FOOTFIT intervention composed of progressive exercise "boosts" demonstrated minimal short-term effects. We recommend engagement with the app for a longer period to determine longer-term outcomes of lower extremity function.PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to determine if patients undergoing presurgical ostomy education and routine postoperative education experienced less postsurgical anxiety than patients undergoing routine preoperative education. DESIGN Quantitative, prospective, comparison cohort study. SUBJECTS AND SETTING The sample comprised 30 participants divided into 2 groups; one group received preoperative ostomy education and stoma site marking, along with postoperative ostomy education, while the other received only postoperative ostomy education. Each group had an equal number of males (n = 11) and females (n = 4). The mean age for the groups was 65.27 (SD = 9.97) and 61.87 (SD = 17.56) years, respectively; this difference was not statistically significant (P > .05). The intervention group included 9 patients who underwent colostomy, 4 who underwent ileostomy, and 2 who underwent urostomy. CONCLUSIONS Our experience with these cases suggests that WOC nurses should consider levamisole-induced vasculitis in all patients presenting with unexplained vasculitis-type lesions, and particularly when these lesions occur in the context of known or suspected use of illicit substances such as cocaine. Given the absence of clinical guidelines for this increasingly prevalent condition, we recommend wound care based on principles of moist wound healing, combined with judicious use of therapies with antimicrobial activity and nonadherent dressings to reduce pain. Finally, we strongly recommend that care of these patients occurs as one part of a multidisciplinary care approach that focuses on cessation of the use of cocaine and all other illicit substances.PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of an mHealth application (app), self-management physical activity intervention FOOTFIT with an added patient-provider connectivity feature (FOOTFIT+), that was designed to strengthen the lower extremities of minimally ambulatory individuals with venous leg ulcers (VLUs). DESIGN Randomized controlled trial. SUBJECTS AND SETTING Twenty-four adults 18 years and older with VLUs being treated in 2 wound clinics in the Southeastern United States participated in this study. METHODS Preliminary estimates and 95% confidence intervals for the medians of short-term functional impacts on foot function, strength, ankle range of motion, walking capacity, depression, and physical functioning were obtained pre- and postassessment after the 6-week intervention trial. RESULTS There were negligible changes in either group for foot function. It is noted that both groups experienced substantial foot and ankle impairment at baseline. The greatest improvement in range of motion was noted in the FOOTFIT group for dorsiflexion of the right ankle (4.6 ± 5.22 lb/in over baseline) whereas strength decreased in both ankles for dorsiflexion and plantar flexion in the FOOTFIT+ group. No improvements were noted in walking distance or physical health for FOOTFIT (slight decrease -2.9 ± 5.6) and FOOTFIT+ (slight increase 3.0 ± 6.6) during the 6-week study period. CONCLUSIONS In a minimally ambulatory population with VLUs, our mHealth FOOTFIT intervention composed of progressive exercise "boosts" demonstrated minimal short-term effects. Findings from recent studies in China suggest that religiosity may contribute to increased suicidality. However, few studies have examined the associations between religious affiliation across different faiths and suicidality in China.
The current study examines the association between religious affiliation and suicidality among college students in six provinces in China.
We conducted a cross-sectional study involving 11,407 college students from six universities in Ningxia, Shandong, Shanghai, Jilin, Qinghai, and Shaanxi. We collected the data between October 2017 and March 2018 using self-report questionnaires. Human papillomavirus (HPV) has a high incidence rate in both males and females. HPV infection in women has been shown to affect fertility and lead to foetal death and pregnancy loss. However, research on HPV infection in men is limited. The aim of this study was to study the effect of HPV infection in semen on sperm quality and present the findings of previous studies through a meta-analysis. Databases including PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, WanFang data and China National Knowledge Infrastructure were searched for relevant studies. A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed, and 17 studies were included for analyses based on a set criterion. A blinded pre-clinical study of comparative efficacy of single versus combinatorial treatment strategies.
NTHI was allowed to form biofilms in the middle ears of chinchillas prior to TT placement. Ofloxacin, humanized Fab fragments against a bacterial DNABII protein that disrupts biofilms or Fab fragments plus ofloxacin were instilled into the middle ear via TT. For two consecutive days, ofloxacin was delivered twice-a-day, Fab fragments were delivered once-a-day, or these treatments were combined. Relative biofilm resolution (as determined via two outcome measures) and eradication of viable NTHI were assessed 1-day later.
Whereas ofloxacin alone did not resolve biofilms or eradicate NTHI from the middle ear, delivery of Fab fragments significantly reduced both biofilms and NTHI burden over this short course of treatment. Notably, co-delivery of ofloxacin plus humanized Fab fragments eradicated both NTHI and biofilms from the middle ear, an enhanced outcome compared to receipt of either treatment alone.
This study demonstrated a powerful combinatorial approach to release bacteria from their protective biofilms and rapidly render them vulnerable to killing by a previously ineffective antibiotic. An approach to combine ofloxacin with humanized Fab fragments that disrupt biofilms has tremendous potential to quickly resolve chronic otorrhea suffered by children with chronic suppurative otitis media or chronic post-tympanostomy tube otorrhea and thereby improve their quality of life.

NA Laryngoscope, 2021.Although vaccination campaigns are currently being rolled out to prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19), antivirals will remain an important adjunct to vaccination. Antivirals against coronaviruses do not exist, hence global drug repurposing efforts have been carried out to identify agents that may provide clinical benefit to patients with COVID-19. Itraconazole, an antifungal agent, has been reported to have activity against animal coronaviruses. Using cell-based phenotypic assays, the in vitro antiviral activity of itraconazole and 17-OH itraconazole was assessed against clinical isolates from a German and Belgian patient infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Itraconazole demonstrated antiviral activity in human Caco-2 cells (EC50 = 2.3 µM; 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay). Similarly, its primary metabolite, 17-OH itraconazole, showed inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 activity (EC50 = 3.6 µM). Remdesivir inhibited viral replication with an EC50 = 0.4 µM. Itraconazole and 17-OH itraconazole resulted in a viral yield reduction in vitro of approximately 2-log10 and approximately 1-log10 , as measured in both Caco-2 cells and VeroE6-eGFP cells, respectively. The viral yield reduction brought about by remdesivir or GS-441524 (parent nucleoside of the antiviral prodrug remdesivir; positive control) was more pronounced, with an approximately 3-log10 drop and >4-log10 drop in Caco-2 cells and VeroE6-eGFP cells, respectively. Itraconazole and 17-OH itraconazole exert in vitro low micromolar activity against SARS-CoV-2. Despite the in vitro antiviral activity, itraconazole did not result in a beneficial effect in hospitalized COVID-19 patients in a clinical study (EudraCT Number 2020-001243-15).

The shaved skin on the backs of female Oryctolagus cuniculi were assigned to treatments with or without tumescence with normal saline. Two platinum-needle electrodes were inserted into each treatment area and connected to a direct current (DC) power supply. Voltage (3-5 V) was varied and applied for 5 minutes. The wound-healing process was monitored via digital photography and ultrasonography until euthanasia at day 29. Treatment areas were biopsied, and specimens were sectioned through a sagittal midline across both electrode insertion sites. Samples were then evaluated utilizing light microscopy (hematoxylin and eosin, Masson's Trichrome, and Picrosirius red).
Treatment sites developed mild inflammation that dissipated at lower voltages or became scabs at higher voltages. Ultrasonography demonstrated acoustic shadowing with spatial spread that increased with increasing voltage application. The 4- and 5-V sites treated with saline had localized areas of increased tissue density at day 29. Although specimens treated with 3 V did not look significantly different from control tissue, 4- and 5-V samples with and without saline tumescence had finer, less-organized collagen fibers and increased presence of fibrocytes and inflammatory infiltrates.
Electrochemical therapy caused localized injury to in vivo rabbit cutaneous tissue, prompting regenerative wound repair. With future development, this technology may offer precise, low-cost rejuvenation to restore the functionality and appearance of dermal scars and keloids.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) has a high incidence rate in both males and females. HPV infection in women has been shown to affect fertility and lead to foetal death and pregnancy loss. However, research on HPV infection in men is limited. The aim of this study was to study the effect of HPV infection in semen on sperm quality and present the findings of previous studies through a meta-analysis. Databases including PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, WanFang data and China National Knowledge Infrastructure were searched for relevant studies. A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed, and 17 studies were included for analyses based on a set criterion. Itraconazole, an antifungal agent, has been reported to have activity against animal coronaviruses. Using cell-based phenotypic assays, the in vitro antiviral activity of itraconazole and 17-OH itraconazole was assessed against clinical isolates from a German and Belgian patient infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Itraconazole demonstrated antiviral activity in human Caco-2 cells (EC50 = 2.3 µM; 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay). Similarly, its primary metabolite, 17-OH itraconazole, showed inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 activity (EC50 = 3.6 µM). Remdesivir inhibited viral replication with an EC50 = 0.4 µM. In this context, we aim to provide an overview of the main genetic resources developed for lentil and their main outcomes, and to suggest protocols for continued work on this important crop. We present a case of metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma with features reminiscent of EpiRMS presenting as a pleural effusion, closely followed by an inguinal lymph node biopsy. The malignant cells in the pleural fluid were diffusely positive for desmin, negative for MyoD1, myogenin, S100 and SOX10, and retained INI-1 expression. Subsequent lymph node biopsy demonstrated identical malignant epithelioid cells that were positive for desmin, myoD1 and myogenin, and a cytological diagnosis of "metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma, favor epithelioid rhabdomyosarcoma" was given considering the concurrent lymph node biopsy morphology and immunoprofile.

Background and purpose Breast cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer in women around the world. Despite new advances in cancer therapy, breast cancer remains a disease with high morbidity and mortality. Snake venom is a poisonous mixture of different molecules, such as carbohydrates, nucleosides, amino acids, lipids, proteins, and peptides. Previous studies demonstrated that some snake venoms showed in vitro anti-cancer effects. In this study, the effects of the Iranian snake (Vipera raddei kurdistanica) venom on breast cancer cells were investigated. Experimental approach The effect of increasing concentrations of snake venom on breast cell viability was assessed by trypan blue, MTT, and lactate dehydrogenase measurements. Apoptosis was detected and quantified by fluorescent staining and DNA fragmentation assay. The expression level of some apoptotic-related genes was investigated using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The Western blotting method was also used to detect the protein expression profiles in the cells. Findings / Results After treatment for 24, 48, 72, and 96 h, the cell viability was significantly reduced in a time- and dose-dependent manner (P 0.05). Apoptosis was significantly increased (P less then 0.05). The RT-PCR and western blot data confirmed the increase of apoptosis in cells treated with venom. Conclusion and implications These data suggested that the vipera raddei kurdistanica venom had a cytotoxic property via activation of apoptosis in breast cancer cells. The present study was conducted to investigate the anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenesis effects of bee pollen extract in the air pouch model of inflammation. Experimental approach To achieve this goal, male rats were moderately anesthetized and then 20 and 10 mL of sterile air were subcutaneously injected into the intrascapular area of the **** of the rat on first and third days, respectively. On day 6, inflammation was induced by intrapouch injection of carrageenan. Normal saline in the control group and bee pollen methanolic extract (50, 100, and 200 mg/pouch) were administered at day 6, simultaneously with carrageenan, and then for 2 consecutive days only normal saline and the extracts were injected. Following sacrificing the rats the pouch was opened and the exudate volume, leukocyte accumulation, granulation tissue weight, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), interleukin 1beta, and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) concentrations were determined 3 days after induction of inflammation. In order to investigate the angiogenesis, the granulation tissue was removed, homogenized in the Drabkin's reagent, and then centrifuged. The supernatant was filtered and the hemoglobin concentration was determined using a spectrophotometer. Results Bee pollen extract significantly decreased the exudate volume, leukocyte accumulation, granulation tissue weight, angiogenesis, VEGF, and TNF-α concentration. Conclusion and implications The findings of the current study revealed that bee pollen methanolic extract has an anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenesis effect, which could be attributed to the inhibition of VEGF and TNF-α production in the inflammatory exudates. Although some synthetic drugs have been marketed for the treatment of obesity, natural remedies may be considered as safe and cost-effective alternatives. Lac (Kerria lacca Kerr) is a product from animal origin and is sold as seedlac or shellac. This drug is very famous among Unani practitioners for its antiobesity effects. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the antiobesity potential of lac in rats. Experimental approach The effect of lac on rats fed with a high-fat diet (HFD) was investigated through determination of the changes in body weight, and serum levels of leptin. In addition, the effect of lac on total cholesterol, triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) was studied. Male Wistar rats (170-220 g) were divided into eight groups; a control group with normal diet, the HFD group received a HFD, and the experimental groups received the HFD containing 0.1, 0.2, and 0.4% (w/w) of seedlac or 0.1, 0.2, and 0.4% (w/w) of shellac for 12 weeks. The body weight of each rat was measured once a week. At the end of the experiment, animals were sacrificed and serum concentrations of cholesterol, TG, low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, and leptin were determined. Results The study showed that seedlac and shellac significantly prevented increasing body weight and the levels of serum leptin were decreased in treated groups compared with HFD group. Also, shellac decreased TG level and both shellac and seedlac exerted a significant increase in HDL-C concentration. Conclusion and implications Lac had weight-reducing properties and could be a promising alternative for controlling obesity. Apoptosis was significantly increased (P less then 0.05). The RT-PCR and western blot data confirmed the increase of apoptosis in cells treated with venom. The present study was conducted to investigate the anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenesis effects of bee pollen extract in the air pouch model of inflammation. Experimental approach To achieve this goal, male rats were moderately anesthetized and then 20 and 10 mL of sterile air were subcutaneously injected into the intrascapular area of the back of the rat on first and third days, respectively. On day 6, inflammation was induced by intrapouch injection of carrageenan. Normal saline in the control group and bee pollen methanolic extract (50, 100, and 200 mg/pouch) were administered at day 6, simultaneously with carrageenan, and then for 2 consecutive days only normal saline and the extracts were injected. Following sacrificing the rats the pouch was opened and the exudate volume, leukocyte accumulation, granulation tissue weight, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), interleukin 1beta, and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) concentrations were determined 3 days after induction of inflammation. In order to investigate the angiogenesis, the granulation tissue was removed, homogenized in the Drabkin's reagent, and then centrifuged. The supernatant was filtered and the hemoglobin concentration was determined using a spectrophotometer. Results Bee pollen extract significantly decreased the exudate volume, leukocyte accumulation, granulation tissue weight, angiogenesis, VEGF, and TNF-α concentration. Conclusion and implications The findings of the current study revealed that bee pollen methanolic extract has an anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenesis effect, which could be attributed to the inhibition of VEGF and TNF-α production in the inflammatory exudates. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the antiobesity potential of lac in rats. Experimental approach The effect of lac on rats fed with a high-fat diet (HFD) was investigated through determination of the changes in body weight, and serum levels of leptin. In addition, the effect of lac on total cholesterol, triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) was studied. Male Wistar rats (170-220 g) were divided into eight groups; a control group with normal diet, the HFD group received a HFD, and the experimental groups received the HFD containing 0.1, 0.2, and 0.4% (w/w) of seedlac or 0.1, 0.2, and 0.4% (w/w) of shellac for 12 weeks. The body weight of each rat was measured once a week. At the end of the experiment, animals were sacrificed and serum concentrations of cholesterol, TG, low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, and leptin were determined. Results The study showed that seedlac and shellac significantly prevented increasing body weight and the levels of serum leptin were decreased in treated groups compared with HFD group. Also, shellac decreased TG level and both shellac and seedlac exerted a significant increase in HDL-C concentration. Conclusion and implications Lac had weight-reducing properties and could be a promising alternative for controlling obesity. The current study explores the effects of geometrical shapes of the infills on the 3D printed polylactic acid (PLA) plastic on the tensile properties. For this purpose, by utilizing an accessible supply desktop printer, specimens of diamond, rectangular, and hexagonal infill patterns were produced using the fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing technique. Additionally, solid samples were printed for comparison. The printed tensile test specimens were conducted at environmental temperature, Ta of 23 °C and crosshead speed, VC.H of 5 mm/min. Mainly, this study focuses on investigating the percentage infill with respect to the cross-sectional area of the investigated samples. The mechanical properties, i.e., modulus of toughness, ultimate tensile stress, yield stress, and percent elongation, were explored for each sample having a different geometrical infill design. The test outcomes for each pattern were systematically compared. To further validate the experimental results, a computer simulation using finite element analysis was also performed and contrasted with the experimental tensile tests. The experimental results mainly suggested a brittle behavior for solidly infilled specimen, while rectangular, diamond, and hexagonal infill patterns showed ductile-like behavior (fine size and texture of infills). This brittleness may be due to the relatively higher infill density results that led to the high bonding adhesion of the printed layers, and the size and thickness effects of the solid substrate. It made the solidly infilled specimen structure denser and brittle. Among all structures, hexagon geometrical infill showed relative improvement in the mechanical properties (highest ultimate tensile stress and modulus values 1759.4 MPa and 57.74 MPa, respectively) compared with other geometrical infills. Therefore, the geometrical infill effects play an important role in selecting the suitable mechanical property's values in industrial applications.Treatment of schizophrenia (SCZ) historically relies on the use of antipsychotic drugs to treat psychosis, with all of the currently available antipsychotics acting through the antagonism of dopamine D2 receptors. Although antipsychotics reduce psychotic symptoms in many patients, they induce numerous undesirable effects and are not effective against negative and cognitive symptoms. These highlight the need to develop new drugs to treat SCZ. An advanced understanding of the circuitry of SCZ has pointed to pathological origins in the excitation/inhibition balance in regions such as the hippocampus, and restoring function in this region, particularly as a means to compensate for parvalbumin (PV) interneuron loss and resultant hippocampal hyperactivity, may be a more efficacious approach to relieve a broad range of SCZ symptoms. Other targets, such as cholinergic receptors and the trace amine-associated receptor 1 (TAAR1), have also shown some promise for the treatment of SCZ. Importantly, assessing efficacy of novel compounds must take into consideration treatment history of the patient, as preclinical studies suggest prior antipsychotic treatment may interfere with the efficacy of these novel agents. However, while novel therapeutic targets may be more effective in treating SCZ, a more effective approach would be to prevent the transition to SCZ in susceptible individuals. A focus on stress, which has been shown to be a predisposing factor in risk for SCZ, is a possible avenue that has shown promise in preclinical studies. Materials and Methods The medical charts of 28 patients (4 males and 24 females; mean age 47.2 ± 21.2 years) were studied. Each patient was examined twice using an IOL Master Device and keratometry at the first visit (before ATD treatment) and after 1 month of ATD treatment. The IOL power was calculated for each patient using the Hoffer Q, SRK-2, and SRK/T formulas according to axial length. Results After 1 month, the axial length increased (right and left eyes p less then 0.001 and p = 0.05, respectively). Based on keratometry, changes in the horizontal and vertical optical power [in diopters (D)] were not statistically significant. However, the IOL power changed after 1 month of ATD treatment in 64.3% of the patients. To address these challenges, we propose a protocol named "An Efficient Routing Protocol based on Master-Slave Architecture for Underwater Wireless Sensor Network (ERPMSA-UWSN)" that significantly contributes to optimizing energy consumption and data packet's long-term survival. We adopt an innovative approach based on the master-slave architecture, which results in limiting the forwarders of the data packet by restricting the transmission through master nodes only. In this protocol, we suppress nodes from data packet reception except the master nodes. We perform extensive simulation and demonstrate that our proposed protocol is delay-tolerant and energy-efficient. We achieve an improvement of 13% on energy tax and 4.

The IOL power was calculated for each patient using the Hoffer Q, SRK-2, and SRK/T formulas according to axial length. Results After 1 month, the axial length increased (right and left eyes p less then 0.001 and p = 0.05, respectively). Based on keratometry, changes in the horizontal and vertical optical power [in diopters (D)] were not statistically significant. However, the IOL power changed after 1 month of ATD treatment in 64.3% of the patients. However, there exist several associated challenges with UWSNs, mainly due to the nodes' mobility, increased propagation delay, limited bandwidth, packet duplication, void holes, and Doppler/multi-path effects. To address these challenges, we propose a protocol named "An Efficient Routing Protocol based on Master-Slave Architecture for Underwater Wireless Sensor Network (ERPMSA-UWSN)" that significantly contributes to optimizing energy consumption and data packet's long-term survival. We adopt an innovative approach based on the master-slave architecture, which results in limiting the forwarders of the data packet by restricting the transmission through master nodes only. In this protocol, we suppress nodes from data packet reception except the master nodes. We perform extensive simulation and demonstrate that our proposed protocol is delay-tolerant and energy-efficient.
