A Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger is an industrial device used to transfer heat between two fluids without mixing them. It features a cylindrical outer shell that contains a bundle of tubes. One fluid flows through the tubes, while the second fluid flows over and around the tubes inside the shell. Heat is transferred through the tube walls from the hotter fluid to the cooler one.
