7%) and after the intervention increased to 22 people (73.3%). For the second trimester, before being given an intervention that had good knowledge only seven people (23.3%), after being given an intervention, increased to 28 people (93.3%). For the third trimester, before being given an intervention, only seven people (23.3%) had good knowledge, and after being given an intervention, it increased to 27 people (90.0%). CONCLUSION The use of android-based applications can increase the knowledge of pregnant women in all trimesters regarding physiological changes during pregnancy. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/amg510.html OBJECTIVE This study was designed to determine the effect of **** massage, acupressure, and a combination of a **** massage and acupressure to the levels of the hormone oxytocin and uterine involution of postpartum primipara mothers. METHOD It was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design that is observations made before and after treatment of the subject. Subjects consisted of 45 primipara postpartum mothers divided into three groups, each group consisting of 15 mothers. The interventions carried out were **** massage, acupressure, and a combination of **** massage. All interventions were carried out once a day for three days daily with a duration of 30min every morning at 09.00-09.15. Massage is carried out along the vertebrae until the 5th and 6th costal bone; then acupressure is performed at the LU point 1-rib 2, point CV 17, and point SI 1. RESULTS All groups given complementary therapy showed a significant increase in the oxytocin hormone. However, the highest increase was in the combination of **** massage and acupressure. CONCLUSION The combination of **** massage and acupressure therapy is worth considering as a complementary therapy for postpartum primiparous women in helping to increase the hormone oxytocin. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to compare serum levels of l-arginine in normal pregnant women, severe preeclampsia, and severe preeclampsia with complications. METHODS It was an observational study with a cross-sectional design, 88 third trimester of pregnancy became the sample which consisted of 46 normal pregnant women, 30 severe preeclampsia, and 12 severe preeclampsia with complication. This study conducted in four hospitals in the city of Makassar Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo hospital, education Hospital of Hasanuddin University, Fatimah, and Sitti Khadijah 1 Mothers and Children hospital. Serum blood samples were taken from the antecubital venous blood Assessment of serum l-arginine levels was carried out using the Human l-Arginine Assay Kit. RESULTS There were significant mean differences between normal, severe preeclampsia and severe preeclampsia with complications. The lowest serum levels of l-arginine were severe preeclampsia with complications (28.33ng/mL), then severe preeclampsia group (34.66ng/mL), and the highest was normal pregnant woman (60.91ng/mL). CONCLUSION Severe preeclampsia with complications had the lowest l-arginine level. Role l-arginine level should be considered in the prevention and treatment of severe preeclampsia. OBJECTIVE This study was aimed to describe the serum levels of folic acid in severe preeclampsia. METHOD The study design was cross-sectional with observational analytic. Data are taken from primary data and secondary data of pregnant women and childbirth at the Central General Hospital Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar City, State Higher Education Hospital Hasanuddin University Makassar City, Special Region of Mother and Child Hospital Pertiwi Makassar City, Mother and Child Hospital Sitti Khadijah 1 Makassar City, Mother and Child Hospital Children Sitti Khadijah 3 Makassar City from June to August 2019. This study assessed serum levels of folic acid in severe preeclampsia, severe preeclampsia with complications and control. RESULTS There were 72 patients consisting of 42 with severe preeclampsia and 30 normal pregnant mothers. Low serum folic acid levels are found in mothers with severe preeclampsia and severe preeclampsia with complications. The lowest serum levels of folic acid are in those with severe preeclampsia with complications. CONCLUSION The more severe the condition of preeclampsia, the lower the serum folic acid. OBJECTIVE This study aims to assess the correlation of vitamin B12 level with insulin resistance toward the outcome of the baby and the placenta. METHOD This study used a prospective cohort study design. The total sampling was 87 people. The samples were pregnant women the second trimester and the third trimester. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test and the Spearman test. Pregnant women who were respondents were monitored until birth; then, the examination of the baby's weight and placental weight after the baby was born using a scale was carried out. RESULTS The result of this study shows that there is no significant correlation between levels of vitamin B12 and insulin resistance (ρ=0.864, p>0.05), there is no significant correlation between vitamin B12 and infant weight (p=0.107, p>0.05), there is no significant correlation between vitamin B12 and placental weight (ρ=0.107, p>0.05). There is no significant correlation between insulin resistance and infant weight (ρ=0.845, p>0.05), and there is no significant correlation between insulin resistance and placental weight (ρ=0.845, p>0.05). CONCLUSION There is no correlation of vitamin B12 with insulin resistance toward the outcome of the baby and the placenta. L.U.OBJECTIVE This study aims to understand the workings of portable double pumping Arduino Nano microcontroller, and analyze the average volume of breast milk produced between right and left breast using a portable double pumping using an Arduino Nano microcontroller. METHODS The study was conducted in the working area of the Jumpandang Baru Health Center. The breast milk-experimental method uses a pilot study approach. The sample collection formula is a feeder experiment with a purposive sampling technique following the predetermined inclusion criteria obtained by a sample of 15 breastfeeding mothers. RESULTS There was a difference in the average expenditure of breast milk after being pumped for 15min using a portable double pumping Arduino Nano microcontroller with a value of ρ=0.028, ρ less then α=0.05, the right breast produced more milk with an average value of 68.0ml, while for the left breast the average value is 55.0ml. CONCLUSION Our result confirmed that portable double pumping Arduino Nano microcontroller can be used as a breast milk tool for working mothers.
