Illustrated examples of GAN applications in radiologic image analysis for different imaging modalities and different tasks are provided. The clinical potential of GANs, future clinical GAN applications, and potential pitfalls and caveats that radiologists should be aware of also are discussed in this review. The online slide presentation from the RSNA Annual Meeting is available for this article. ©RSNA, 2021.Preliminary evidence indicates that people's sexual consent (i.e., their willingness to engage in sexual activity and communication of that willingness) varies across time and context. Study designs that assess sexual consent at multiple time points (e.g., experience sampling methodology [ESM]) are needed to better understand the within-person variability of sexual consent. However, extant validated measures of sexual consent are not appropriate for ESM studies, which require shorter assessments due to the increased burden this methodology has on participants. As such, the goal of the present study was to develop ESM measures of sexual consent based on items that have previously been validated for use in cross-sectional surveys. We selected items that balanced face validity as evidenced by cognitive interviews (n = 10) and content validity as evidenced by experts' ratings (n = 6). To assess the construct validity and feasibility of these items, we administered the selected ESM measures of sexual consent in a seven-day pilot study (n = 12). The results suggested that the ESM measures developed in the present study were a valid and feasible assessment of people's experience-specific internal consent feelings and external consent communication. We conclude with recommendations for sex researchers interested in ESM.The Millon series (i.e., MCMI-II/MCMI-III) has a longstanding history of use in clinical and forensic settings. For forensic psychologists, the Millon series can serve as a unique tool in evaluations related to parental fitness due to its incorporation of DSM diagnostic categories and the use of base rate (BR) scores. There is limited research on parental fitness populations broadly, though previous research has found a common positive impression management style referred to as the normal quartet with forensic populations on the MCMI-III. It is unknown if there is a continued presence of the normal quartet in the MCMI-IV, published in 2015. With the current study, we examined parental fitness litigant response patterns on the MCMI-IV and assessed the presence of a normal quartet. The sample consisted of 330 parental fitness litigants in the northeast region of the United States. Results of the current study suggest a new normal quartet elevations on the Desirability (Y), Histrionic (4A), Turbulent (4B), and Compulsive (7) scales. The clinical implications for the use of the MCMI-IV by forensic psychologists with parental fitness litigants are discussed including limitations and areas for future research.Introduction The reduction of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) transmission has been achieved through numerous public health initiatives worldwide. In the hospital environment, certain high-risk procedures have the potential to cause transmission of the virus to health-care workers and nosocomial transmission to patients through different mechanisms including the generation of aerosols and fomite formation via contamination of medical devices.Areas covered Aerosol-generating procedures such as bronchoscopy are considered high risk for SARS-CoV-2 transmission. As a result, single-use devices should be used where possible and changing to single-use flexible bronchoscopes has been advised by respiratory societies internationally. In this paper, we outline the rationale for this advice and have analyzed the evidence relating to the reduction in SARS-CoV-2 transmission arising from a switch to these single-use devices and the potential impact that this switch may have on the quality of pulmonology services.Expert opinion In this paper, we outline the rationale for this advice and have analyzed the evidence relating to the reduction in SARS-CoV-2 transmission arising from a switch to these single-use devices and the potential impact that this switch may have on the quality of pulmonology services. The rate of infectious disease outbreaks has been accelerating over the past two decades, from the SARS epidemic in 2003 to COVID-19 in 2020. Termed by some as the twenty-first century's first pandemic, SARS originated in China and alerted the country to the importance of public health and epidemic response. After SARS, China improved its health infrastructure and reformed its political and legal health governance system. The emergence of COVID-19 from Wuhan in late 2019 put those reforms to the test. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/inaxaplin.html This paper analyses China's public health and epidemic response policies from a historical perspective, tracing the evolution of Chinese public health policies after the SARS outbreak in 2003. This paper assesses China's response to COVID-19 and how post-SARS policy reforms, particularly in epidemic response, played out on the ground in Wuhan. What policies worked well? What were the challenges faced? Based on the policy analysis, this paper presents recommendations for how China can improve its epidemic response through strengthened infectious disease surveillance, more transparent political coordination, and expanded public health infrastructure. There is accumulating evidence to indicate an association between coronavirus infectious disease 2019 (COVID-19) and clusters of incident cutaneous eruptions. Of these, chilblains-like perniosis have received widespread medical and media attention. These typically affect the toes, and have been called "COVID-toes." Other acral lesions such as large bullae have also been reported. However, a definitive causal relationship with the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 has not yet been definitively proven, nor has a pathogenic mechanism been established. These episodes are self-limiting, but we need to know whether long-term sequelae exist.
To identify differences in preferences related to telepsychiatry among college students who have and have not been diagnosed with a mental health condition in the last year.

Students (
 = 537) at a medium-sized Midwestern university (

= 21 years; 71% female).

A quantitative, causal-comparative design using an adapted version of the National College Health Assessment (NCHA). Differences in preferences among groups were analyzed by chi-square and Cramer's
analyses with a 95% confidence interval.

Students did not differ in their preferences or perceptions (confidentiality, time, cost, effectiveness) of face-to-face in-person compared to telecommunication treatment environments despite their mental health history. A majority of students (76%) would prefer seeing their regular provider if using telepsychiatry in the future.

Implementing a higher education telepsychiatry model, especially within college health centers, could help students' access ****-needed services while breaking down barriers such as transportation and wait lists.
